DEFINITION

•Transforming temperament is the

situation whereby ones temperament

is used to promote peaceful co-

existence, effectiveness and efficiency

in every situation of human life.

Key words defined•Peaceful Coexistence•Living together with other people irrespective

of their background whether educational, tribal etc, without any problem or confusion.

•Effectiveness• In this context is – living to a generally

accepted standard so that you can control yourself and your environment to produce a desired result

•Efficient•Working well to avoid negative behaviours

such as anger, laziness, procrastination etc

• Identify your temperament

•Know your weaknesses

•Control your weaknesses to lead to total

transformation

•Mingle with other temperaments to

understand them

•Transforming your temperament largely

depends on you.

CHOLERIC• Choleric is known to be destructive and

domineering . They control others without any

consideration of their feelings or wishes.

1.Be considerate – know that you are not the most

genuine person, most righteous and holy person to

take advantage over others.

2.Do not react instantly when some one wrongs you.

3.Try to love every one equally and perfectly

4.Make sure you do not maltreat others irrespective of

their positions or personalities

5. Do to others what you want others to do

unto you.

6. Ask your self, have I ever wrong some

one

7. Can I also commit such a mistake

against someone in life

8. Be in the persons shoe at that time

PHLEGMATIC•The major weakness of the phlegmatic are

procrastination and inability to point out injustices of people

1.They should know that time and tide waits for no man

2.They should have action now as their motto

3.Do not say more time and do not deceive your self by saying tomorrow. – (remember tomorrow is the deadliest killer)

4.Make a decision and write it down5.Always try to be the first in all things

Melancholic• Melancholics are full of depression, very

emotional and have high level of suicidal tendencies.

1.Know that what ever happens had ever happened2.Do not let any news you hear be new to you3.Don’t let the news have any negative impact on

you4.Have in mind that there is hope for the hopeless

and never think of committing suicide.5.If possible, consult a counselor6.Close up your mind over it and live a normal life7.Give the problem to God and pray

SANGUINE•Very quick tempered, easily get angry.

1.Know that anger is fierce and very bad to

your health. It can lead to murder, losing

job, blood pressure, accident, regrettable

events

The Bible has this to say;

•Col 3:8 – Put off anger….

•Eph 4 :26 – Be angry but sin not, let not the

sun go down upon your wrath

2. Do not take any haste decision, if

possible keep silent and leave the

present environment immediately

3. Take a deep breathe to renormalize your

heart beat and blood pressure

4. Relax feel free and laugh or smile

5. Meditate upon the word of God
