the laboratory analytical data in accordance with the QAPP (Appendix G-1 of the RI/FS Work Plan; Alcoa/City of East St. Louis). The QAA Data Validation Summary is included in Attachment 2. Laboratory Results The results of the laboratory analyses are presented in Table 1. Of the composite samples taken from the seven investigatory borings, all seven locations had detections of Arsenic over the Regional Screening limit (RSL) and two locations had detections of Lead over the RSL. These concentrations are consistent with the expected results given the materials formerly stockpiled in IB-3c. These results are used in the Draft Revised Baseline Human Health Risk Assessment. Investigation-Derived Waste Investigation-derived waste (IDW) included two 55-gallon drums containing decontamination water, excess soil cuttings and personal protection equipment (PPE). Composite soil and water samples were collected from the drums and submitted to e-Lab Analytical to be analyzed for TCLP Mercury using Method SW7470 and TCLP Metals using Method SW 1311/6020. Based upon the analytical results for waste characterization, the IDW drum contents were determined to be non-hazardous. The drum contents were placed in the on-Site residue disposal area.
