Comments Requestor: Mark SowardsRequest: Most of the homes south of E. Combs Road and east of Schnepf Road either use north Schnepf Road or north Ghost Rider Street to access E. Combs Road. N. Schnepf Road is paved with minimal dust generated from traffic. N. Ghost Rider Street is dirt and traffic generates terrific amounts of dust with normal usage due to the volume of traffic. All other streets in the area are side streets that channel into N. Schnepf Road or N. Ghost Rider Street and are too short in length to gain enough speeds to generate a lot of dust. Please help us with this problem by paving N. Ghost Rider Street just as you have N. Schnepf Road. N. Ghost Rider Street is not simply just another road in this area, but is a major conduit for the local residents to access E. Combs Road. Thank you.

Comments Requestor: Sherry DeMossRequest: The road has a name but is just an easement along SRP power poles. Can we have a real road put in? Area is a residential area with a lot of homes. We need to have county maintained roads from Schnepf Road down to Hash Knife Draw Road and North Hanging Tree Street. There is a lot of dust in the summer time and a lot of mud in the winter. School buses will not even go down in this area. Some mail deliveries will not deliver if the road is wet. Thank you for your consideration.

Comments Requestor: Maureen SheaRequest: Hash Knife Draw is a dirt road that generates incredible amounts of dust throughout the day and night. As a spokesperson for the residents that live on or near Hash Knife Draw, I can tell you that we all would like to see Hash Knife Draw chip sealed. Dust is so dangerous to all of us, causing any number of respitory problems. Our children have to walk this road every morning and afternoon going to and from the school buses. People speed down this road regardless of the children walking this road. We have collected the majority of signatures or consent from the property owners on Hash Knife Draw agreeing to either donate right‐of‐way or grant roadway easement to Pinal County. We will continue to get 100% participation from the remaining property owners. We would all benefit from a chip sealed road, having cleaner air to breath being the biggest benefit. By gathering the needed signatures or consents from the property owners, we feel this is a cost savings to Pinal County as it takes a lot of time and personnel to do this. Thank you for your consideration.

Comments Requestor: Brian FryhoverRequest: Currently this is a narrow 2 lane highway with high traffic volumes. There are several safety issues with this 2.5 mile section that could benefit from improvements. Some of the safety issues are: a) narrow paved shoulders and minimal roadside recovery area (with exception of the 0.3 mile improved section from Mirage Boulevard northwest to Oasis Boulevard); b) existing cross drainage over roadway (dip section) 500 feet southeast of Walker Granite Road; c) 3 existing golf cart crossings over the highway (200 feet southeast of Oasis Boulevard, just northwest of the railroad, and just southwest of the railroad); d) abrupt and uneven grade change (both directions) at the approach to an existing skewed railroad crossing; e) difficult to pass slower moving vehicles due to single lane in each direction.

Comments Requestor: Shawn PettyRequest: The road is continuously being washed away from multiple washes crossing and standing water causes deep road hazards. When it is not wet the road causes excessive dust. I would be willing to contribute to improvements and will petition the neighbors to find further contributing parties. If possible installing two culverts under the driving surface would be ideal to prevent future erosion and expense in maintenance for the area.

Comments Requestor: Brad YoungRequest: To have county chip seal road beginning at the intersection of Roberts Road and Felix Road and extending to Joel Road. Grading and road base already completed, only needs county to chip seal. Clark Larson (owner) has paid over $20,000 to the county for road maintenance which has not been satisfied by the county. MDK Development plans to construct an additional 7 homes in the area therefore the county will be collecting additional impact fees that should go towards road maintenance and improvements. This roadway has been neglected by the county for over 7 years according to the neighbors despite several written requests to have the roadways maintained. We propose to work with the county to have the road chip sealed.

Comments Requestor: Thomas SniderRequest: A traffic signal was installed at this intersection a few years ago which helped this intersection considerably. However at that time there was no right turn lane for southbound traffic turning westbound (Sunland Gin to Battaglia). As traffic continually increases on this road, I believe a right turn lane would provide both better traffic flow and safety. I have often watched traffic wanting to make a free right turn try to squeeze past the stopped cars waiting for the light. The post office, elementary school, and grocery store are all west on Battaglia in addition to the residential homes in that direction, making that a high traffic turn.

Comments Requestor: Rebecca HuertaRequest: There is a lot of traffic on this road, and it becomes washboard so fast. People generally speed to "float" over the washboard road. This creates a lot of dust and a dangerous environment for families who go on walks along the road in the evening. We personally avoid this road because we feel it is dangerous. It also attracts many 4‐wheeled motorcyclists because they are able to easily skid on it. We appreciate the work the county does to maintain the dirt road frequently, but it simply isn't enough. Please help. Thank you.

Comments Requestor: Melanie MerkelRequest: We appreciate the dirt road improvement that filled 2' deep trenches in this road. There are several residents that use this road and to regrade this 1/2 mile (approximately) every time a rain storm hits or to reduce dust would cost more in the long run than a single paving would do. Thank you so much for grading it which helps and I am sure the postal service appreciates this too. Sincerely, Melanie Merkel

Comments Requestor: Angum AlimohammedRequest: Whenever we get rain, Rahma Road leading to the cemetery develops potholes or simply gets washed away. We have continually been repairing it but it makes no difference. There is a lot of traffic on that street as there are continual burials and people come to visit their loved ones but the road becomes a hazard with cars getting stuck in the mud and slipping.

Comments Requestor: Lisa GatlinRequest: It is my understanding that this stretch of road is shared between Coolidge and Casa Grande, and it also runs between two farms, which has created difficulty in getting it paved. Having said that, the difficulty for the community is commuting in and out of our homes, not only on a regular basis without creating air pollution, due to the dust, but also the treacherous conditions any time rain falls. I've submitted this request in the past, I've submitted photos to give you a visual of our needs and I am in great hopes of having our difficulty resolved. Sincerely, Lisa Gatlin

Comments Requestor: Andy LariosRequest: Dirt road produces too much dust and making family sick. Allergies, breathing problems. There's too much traffic during weekdays that makes outdoor life impossible. Too unhealthy to be outside. School buses, Fed Ex trucks, etc., drive like this road is a freeway and more dust. I don't mind the dirt road but do really mind breathing dust. This road was not meant to have many vehicles traveling at high speeds. Thank you and may God bless you all.
