Have you ever been to trapeze school? Have you ever been on a trapeze? A trapeze is like a flying roller coster! Imagine, the wind rapidly whipping at your ears, your feet tingling at the feeling. But don't look down because you get the tummy tickles. Your soaring through the sky, it's the most amazing thing you will ever feel, but you can't explain it. Well now you can.

Where You Are

Have you ever been to trapeze school? Well,when you're at Trapeze school you're very high up, so if you're afraid of being up high.. . Trapeze school is not the right place for your vacation. When you're looking down from the platform the people look like little pencils. I like being up that high. If you're planning to ride an elevator to the platform, too bad because you Have to walk to the top. Don't worry because you're not too high and your not going to fall either. It also depends on where you go. You Could go to Boston to learn or you could go to New York. I had fun When I went and I want you to have the same experience.

If you're wondering exactly what you do, well heres a list: you jump into the air; you put your knees up on the trapeze bar;you swing into the air and almost fly! The feeling you get is in-between exited and butterflies in you're stomach , butterflie's in you're stomach is when your very nervous!

Things You do

What's Under YouThere are some interesting things under you when you're in the air. There are people in suits who tell you what to do. There are also bouncy, Fluffy, mats. Don't think about falling because the mats are there. When I let go of The bar I like landing in the nice, big, fluffy mats! If your scared ,again please don't bother to worry! Everything in trapeze school is fun, well almost everything, walking up two Flights of stairs is not fun at all! It's very tiring. Up and down and up and down and up and down again.

Things You Feel

Before you go on the trapeze you are... Excited, happy, thirsty, energized, scared and delighted. Some times you are more scared than exited! That's probably because its you're first time. I got that feeling when it was my first time. Do you like high places? I do! If your like me you would want to live on the trapeze! Most people enjoy the time they have on the trapeze. So why don't you?

Things You Wear

Do you think you can just jump on to a trapeze and swing? Well, you can't. You have to wear equipment to stay safe. Equipment is things you need to either play or do something. Some things You need to wear are a big metal chain to keep you from falling, a heavy rope to keep you in the air, a belt that squeezes you so it is VERY tight, and chalk for you're hands so you don't let go of the bar. So you have come this far, trapeze school is not easy is it? But this is not The end there's much more! So, why don't I tell you?

Words And Signals

To be a famous trapeze person you need to know words and signals so you know what to do. Say, if someone says:"ready hop!" You jump into the air. If someone says "jump to fall!" You let go of the bar. And if someone say " flip!" You do a flip. There are also signals like if someone flashes a light it means someone is taking a pitcher. Words and signals are very important. And that's why you learn them.See you around the trapeze bar!
