October 3-4, 2018PURPOSE:This symposium is designed to provide healthcare professionals with the most up-to-date information in the treatment of the trauma patient.

TARGET AUDIENCE:Physicians, Advance Practice Providers (APPs), Nurses and other interested healthcare professionals.

OBJECTIVES:• Identify recent significant advances involved in the delivery

of trauma care.• Describe pertinent societal and professional issues which affect

current practice in trauma care.• Describe new techniques applicable to the provision of quality

trauma care in the community.

CONTINUING EDUCATION HOURS:This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Minnesota Medical Association through the joint sponsorship of Trinity Health and the North Dakota Trauma Foundation. Trinity Health is accredited by the Minnesota Medical Association to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians.

Trinity Health designates this live activity for a maximum of 14.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The ND Board of Nursing accepts CME as contact hours for continuing education for Nurses.

The North Dakota Department of Health has approved 15 hours (breakdown of hours will be included in the conference booklet)of continuing education for EMS providers. Each provider should claim only those hours of credit actually attended. This conference is eligible for reimbursement for qualified EMS personnel. (www.ndhealth.gov)
