• Travel and Tourism one of the world's largest foreign exchange earner among industries, provides employment directly to millions of people worldwide and indirectly through many associated service industries. A very wide industry, it includes Government tourism departments, Immigration and customs services, travel agencies, airlines, tour operators, hotels etc …

The International Air Transport Association is an international industry trade group of airlines headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, where the International Civil Aviation Organization also happens to be headquartered, even though they are different entities. . The main objective of the organization is to assist airline companies to achieve lawful competition and uniformity in prices. IATA was formed in April 1945, in Havana, Cuba. Founded in The Hague in 1919, the year of the world's first international scheduled services. At its founding, IATA had 57 members from 31 nations, mostly in Europe and North America.

• Associations The United Federation of Travel Agents’ Associations (UFTAA) emanates from the Universal Federation of Travel Agents’ Associations created in Rome, Italy, on November 22nd, 1966. UFTAA was originally founded as a result of a merger of two large world organizations, FIAV and UOTAA, recognizing the need to unify travel agencies and tour-operators into one international federation. In 1989, coming from Brussels, UFTAA set up its General Secretariat in the Principality of Monaco

• The Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA) is a membership association that acts as a catalyst for the responsible development of the Asia Pacific travel and tourism industry.

• In partnership with PATA ' s private- and public-sector members, it enhances the sustainable growth, value and quality of travel and tourism to, from and within the region.

• PATA provides leadership to the collective efforts of nearly 100 government, state and city tourism bodies, more than 55 international airlines and cruise lines and hundreds of travel industry companies.

• In addition, thousands of travel professionals belong to more than 30 PATA chapters worldwide.

• International Civil Aviation Organization ( ICAO ) • Formation - April 1947 • Headquarters - Montreal, Canada • Membership - 190 member states • Official languages - Arabic, Chinese, English, French,

Russian and Spanish

• The ICAO is a United Nations (UN) organization dedicated to increasing the safety and security of international civil aviation. It addresses basic issues ranging from air navigation and capacity to environmental concerns .

Warsaw Convention • The Warsaw Convention is an international convention which regulates liability

for international carriage of persons, luggage or goods performed by aircraft for reward.

• Originally signed in 1929 in Warsaw (hence the name), it was amended in 1955 at The Hague and in 1975 in Montreal. United States courts have held that, at least for some purposes, the Warsaw Convention is a different instrument from the Warsaw Convention as Amended by the Hague Protocol.

• IN PARTICULAR, THE WARSAW CONVENTION• Mandates carriers to issue passenger tickets. Requires carriers to issue baggage

checks for checked luggage. Creates a limitation period of 2 years within which a claim must be brought (Article 29); and Limits a carrier's liability to at most: 250,000 Francs or 16,600 Special Drawing Rights (SDR) for personal injury; 17 SDR per kilogram for checked luggage and cargo, 5,000 Francs or 332 SDR for the hand luggage of a travelers

Chicago Convention

• The Convention on International Civil Aviation, also known as the Chicago Convention , established the International Civil Aviation Organization ( ICAO ), a specialized agency of the United Nations charged with coordinating and regulating international air travel. The Convention establishes rules of airspace, aircraft registration and safety, and details the rights of the signatories in relation to air travel. The Convention also exempts air fuels from tax.

• The document was signed on December 7, 1944 in Chicago, Illinois, by 52 signatory states. It received the requisite 26th ratification on March 5, 1947 and went into effect on April 4, 1947, the same date that ICAO came into being. In October of the same year, ICAO became a specialized agency of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC).

The Montreal Convention • The Montreal Convention formally the Convention for the Unification of

Certain Rules for International Carriage , is a treaty adopted by a Diplomatic meeting of ICAO member states in 1999. It amended important provisions of the Warsaw Convention's regime concerning compensation for the victims of air disasters. The Convention re-establishes urgently needed uniformity and predictability of rules relating to the international carriage of passengers, baggage and cargo.

• Whilst maintaining the core provisions which have successfully served the international air transport community for several decades (i.e. the Warsaw regime), the new convention achieves the required modernisation in a number of key areas. It protects passengers by introducing a two-tier liability system and by facilitating the swift recovery of proven damages without the need for lengthy litigation.

HISTORY OF FRANCE

• France is an independent nation in Western Europe and the center of a large overseas administration. It is the third-largest European nation (after Russia and Ukraine). I n ancient times France was part of the Celtic territory known as Gaul or Gallia. Its present name is derived from the Latin Francia, meaning "country of the Franks," a Germanic people who conquered the area during the 5th century, at the time of the fall of the Western Roman Empire. It became a separate country in the 9th century. S ince the 17th century, France has played a major role in European and world events.

Attraction of Paris Paris, France is one of the most fascinating and romantic cities in Europe.

Eiffel Tower

• Eiffel Tower (Tour Eiffel) is the symbol of Paris , one of the most visited tourist attractions and the best known tower in the world. Eiffel tower is a world famous lovers point.

Disneyland

Disneyland Resort Paris, originally known as Euro Disney, is a theme park run by Euro Disney SCA, 39% of which is owned by The Walt Disney Company, in Marne-la-Vallée near Paris

The park also has its own train station where the TGV (named Thalys when coming from Brussels) stops and its own RER (commuter train) station, so when visiting Paris you can hop on the RER and stop right in the park. 

Arc de Triumphe

• The Arc de Triomphe (Triumphal Arch) is one of Paris’ main tourist attractions. It was commissioned by Napoleon after his victory at the Battle of Austerlitz and was finished in 1836 .

Luxembourg Gardens • Luxembourg Gardens (Jardin du Luxembourg) like Jardin des

Tuileries is one of the many parks in Paris but Jardin du Luxembourg is maybe the most popular of them all. The park is located on the Left Bank of the river Seine right next to Palais du Luxembourg .

Place de la Concorde

• Place de la Concorde Place de la Concorde is the largest and most historic square in Paris ,

• Located at the end of the Champs-Élysées in the Tuileries Quarter.

Moulin Rouge • Moulin Rouge (Red Windmill) located in Montmartre is the best known music

and dancing hall in all of Paris and has earned a worldwide reputation. Some of the famous performers at Moulin Rouge include Yvette Guilbert, Jane Avril, Josephine Baker, Frank Sinatra and Édith Piaf .

Cannes Film Festival

Cannes Film Festival The Cannes Film Festival is held each spring at the Palais des Festivals et des Congres on Boulevard de la Croisette. Many movie stars from Hollywood, New York and throughout Europe visit Cannes for this special occasion while tourists are sometimes able to see their favourite actors in the town. Visitors to Cannes can view the hand prints of dozens of famous movie stars in the concrete promenade outside this famous venue

yacht• Many tourists to Cannes

enjoy taking a stroll by the yacht marina to admire the beautiful sailboats and yachts that are docked there.  Many wealthy Europeans maintain a boat in Cannes and fly to this Mediterranean town for rest and relaxation.  The best place to view the luxury yachts is from Quai St. Pierre.

Public Beach• Although many of the beaches at the west end of Plage de

la Croisette in Cannes are operated privately for the grand hotels, a public sandy public beach exists at the east end.  A pleasant city park and the Casino Palm Beach are located in this district of Cannes.

• A beautiful park with flowers, trees and rosebushes can be found at the east end of Plage de la Croisette in Cannes France.

• Tourists to Cannes can enjoy a leisurely stroll from the Cannes City Hall along the waterfront to this pretty park, which is located at Square Verdun Roserale.  The Casino Palm Beach is located nearby. Cannes Park .

• There are at least three large casinos operating in Cannes France.  The Casino Croisette is located across from the Palais des Festivals et des Congres,

• where the Cannes Film Festival is held each spring.  The second one is situated across from the Cannes beach at the Hilton Hotel.

Day to day itinerary • Day 1 : Welcome to Paris –(the fashion capital of the world) a

fascinating country known for its spectacular scenery and Eiffel tower. On arrival, check into the hotel on your own anytime after 1500hrs. You have free time to explore this wonderful city on your own. Overnight at your hotel in Paris.

• Day 2 :  PARIS CITY TOUR - LOUVRE MUSEUM - GREVIN WAX MUSEUM-BENULUX- EIFFEL TOWER LEVEL 3 - LA NOUVELLE EVE SHOW .

• Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast we proceed for the city tour of Paris including visit to LOUVRE MUSEUM to see beautiful portrait of Monalisa. Then we proceed to yet another amazing museum GREVIN WAX MUSEUM where you will find the wax statues of who's-who of the world, which includes politicians, sportsmen, singers, actors, etc. You will have the great opportunity to take your picture with Mahatma Gandhi and Superstar Shah Rukh Khan. After this we drive you to BENULUX for your shopping and then on to GALERIES LAFAYETTE. Enjoy lunch in the afternoon. And then visit EIFFEL TOWER. We take you on Level 3. Evening enjoy delicious dinner prepared by our own chefs. After dinner we take you for a famous Paris Show 'LA NOUVELLE EVE SHOW'. Its great music, great performers with their dazzling costumes, amazing light effects and unforgettable sound will always make you remember this show. Return to hotel for overnight stay. • Day 3 : DISNEYLAND PARIS - DISNEY STUDIO Today after breakfast we take you to two greatest amusement Parks of Paris, DISNEY STUDIO AND DISNEYLAND PARIS. We recommend that you first visit Disney Studio and then go to Disneyland. Then Evening enjoy delicious dinner prepared by our own chefs. And then return back to your hotel for overnight stay. Breakfast, Dinner .

• Day 4 :  PARIS - CANNES Breakfast at Hotel, by bus from Paris to Nice. Transfer to Cannes . Start your day charter in Cannes and head off across the beautiful bay overlooking La Croisette , and the famous Pala's des Festivals , where the Cannes Film Festival is held each year in the month of May. From there you will see the palm trees lining the endless row of luxury boutiques and bars, and the grand Belle Epoch architecture of the Martinez and Carlton hotels.

• Day 5 : take off to Dubai. After arrive Dubai International Airport. Meet on arrival & transfer from the airport to a hotel in the city area of Dubai.  Rest of the time at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

• Day 6 : After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart at 9am for the half day (4-hour) Dubai City Tour. At 1pm you will return to your hotel and then at 3:15 we will take you for an evening desert safari, a thrilling experience of dune bashing and driving in the dunes, tour also includes a BBQ dinner and belly dance.

• Day 7 : After a continental breakfast, the day is free or we suggest an exciting day of fun and frolic at the. Dubai Shopping Festival in Dubai . whole day you spent this please. At 1pm you will return to your hotel

• Day 8 :Today we will depart to the capital of the United Emirates Arab's known as Abu Dhabi, after having breakfast and checking out of the hotel. This tour is the ideal way to discover the beautiful capital of Abu Dhabi. Afterwards we will stop at a carpet market where a huge variety of fabulous carpets from all around the world are sold. Our tour continues to the old Souk where you can experience the bustle of everyday life and the magnificent Abu Dhabi Corniche up to the end of the breakwater that stretches out into the sea, giving you a splendid view of the city skyline. Our tour ends with a short round at the Dhow yard where traditional boats are built the same way they have been for hundreds of years. We then check into a Abu Dhabi hotel for the night.

• Day 9 : Return home with wonderful memoriesEnjoy a continental breakfast at your hotel. After breakfast at the hotel, you have time to do last minutes shopping. Late afternoon proceed to the airport to board a flight back home. Tour ends on arrival.
