Istanbul is a very special city, since it is divided into to parts, an European side and an Asian side. So a trip to Istanbul is prac-tically a travel to two different parts of the world, united till one. The Asian part is calm, charming andand impressive, and you can find a lot of streets with small shops, it is also the part where the local Turks live. The european side is divided into two pieces by The Golden Horn. North from the Golden Horn you find the modern, modern, financial part, where you also find tons of shopping centres and designer shops. South you find the old centrum of Istanbul with the historical mosque, museums, bazars and other sights.
