Rickter Board in Action – Case StudySarah’s StorySarah is 17 years old and has recently started the Give and Take scheme. Sarah is currently living in a children’s home; this has been her tenth placement. Sarah has recently started having more contact with her mother - this relationship has always been difficult. Sarah is easily manipulated and does not understand the consequences her actions have on herself and others around her. Concerns have been raised in relation to Sarah’s circle of friends who are predominately male and a lot older. Sarah is very easily led and in recent weeks has returned home intoxicated on a number of occasions.
