The Worcester Railers HC will practice at the state of the art two sheet ice surface in the heart of the Canal District in downtown Worcester! A merchandise store with skate shop will be joined by a family style restaurant set to open in the summer of 2017. This year round multiple hockey use facility will also be used by local colleges, high schools, and local youth hockey organizations. Dual partnership opportunities are available.

The ECHL is the premier “AA” hockey league with 29 teams in 22 states and in Canada. Over 600 players from the ECHL have made it to the NHL including Worcester hockey alumni Thomas Greiss. The ECHL had 76 players on NHL opening rosters in 2016 and the league will celebrate 30 years during the 2017-18 season.
Professional Hockey
On February 5, 2016 the Worcester Railers HC received unanimous approval to become the ECHL’s 29th member club. The Railers will play 36 home games at the DCU Center beginning in October 2017.
