TRC – RESISTIVE AND CAPACITIVE THERAPY

TRC combines two modes, Resistive and Capacitive, providing a precise and integrated treatment.  The Capacitive mode targets soft tissues (muscles, lymphatic/vascular system, etc.).

SELECTIVE ACTION

Page 5: TRC Resistive and Capacitive Therapy · 2017. 10. 17. · • Epitrocleitis. 30 TRC – RESISTIVE AND CAPACITIVE THERAPY PRONE Neutral plate under the abdomen. SEATED Neutral plate

TRC – RESISTIVE AND CAPACITIVE THERAPY

The Resistive mode targets tissues with greater resistance (bone tissue, cartilage, large tendons and aponeuroses). By concentrating the intervention on a specific type of tissue, the therapist can create treatment program with the combined Capacitive and Resistive modes.

TRC – RESISTIVE AND CAPACITIVE THERAPY

The effect of manual therapy with the TRC is the result of the integration of two fundamental factors: the manual action of the therapist and the complex biological actions coming from TRC applications that enhances it.  The intense reactivation of the blood and lymphatic microcirculatory systems provides a deeper and highly stimulating massage.

The use of the TRC ensures immediate pain relief and reduces recovery time.

TRC – RESISTIVE AND CAPACITIVE THERAPY

Immediate pain reliefThe patient experiences pain relief starting from the

first session. This leads to a more effective rehabilitation, in which muscles and tendons are already relaxed.

Reduction of therapy timeThe absence of pain allows deep massage,

obtaining faster and more stable results. The continuous energy stimuli caused by the TRC reduces the time of subsequent therapy sessions.

Faster and more stableThe treatment with TRC relieves the pain

associated with muscle contractures. It is used for the treatment of lumbalgo, back and cervical pain, contracture and muscular injury pain.

Muscular strength recoveryThe increase of the blood and lymphatic

circulation decreases the production of acid in the tissues, eliminating the toxins accumulated in the muscular fibres.

TRC – RESISTIVE AND CAPACITIVE THERAPY

Release actionTRC rebalances the tone of the muscles, relaxing

the tissues, avoiding possible injuries to muscles and tendons.

It quickly drains oedema in the immediate post-trauma phase(power level: Low to Medium).

It inhibits painful reflex contractions by acting on the mechanoreceptor endings of the thoracolumbar fascia (power level: High).

Page 11: TRC Resistive and Capacitive Therapy · 2017. 10. 17. · • Epitrocleitis. 30 TRC – RESISTIVE AND CAPACITIVE THERAPY PRONE Neutral plate under the abdomen. SEATED Neutral plate

11

TRC – RESISTIVE AND CAPACITIVE THERAPY

Release actionIt rebalances the function of the pectoral girdle by

improving trophism of the musculotendineous junctions (power level: Medium to High). It stabilises the patella-femoral joint (power level: Medium to High).

It rapidly alleviates pain in cases of pubic pain with a direct analgesic effect on tendonous insertions (power level: low) and relaxation of the transverse abdominal muscle (power level: Medium). It stimulates muscular trophism by maintaining the balance between agonist and antagonist muscles in the arm and forearm (power level: Medium to High).

TRC – RESISTIVE AND CAPACITIVE THERAPY

The thermal effect is proportional to the intensity of high frequency currents regulated by the TRC therapist, and therefore it never reaches harmful levels as may occur with traditional systems.

PRECAUTIONS BEFORE APPLICATION

• Just before starting each application, as you usually do with all the other medical equipment, it is suggested to be care to all the required parameters (physiological, age, health conditions, etc. of each patient). It is suggested to make a careful evaluation of the patient’s status and to consider the therapeutic objective.

• Accurately check patient’s skin over the area to be treated; should any special problem is present, try to cover it or, if not possible, avoid to make treatment.

•Check with care the patient’s skin over the area of the treatment; protect burns or any further alteration of the skin. • Odema, protesys could be also treated both with Capacitive and Resistive modes. • Take care when treat cervical area.

• After trauma, it is suggested to start treatment after 24-48 hours.

HOW TO USE APPLICATORBehind static application, which is one operation available by using TRC device; the elective modality consists in a massage which is performed from the professional operator to the patient for transferring therapeutic electromagnetic field into the different cellular layers of the human body. At the proposal, we think it is useful to affirm that the benefits for the patient of the delivered electromagnetic field are very high; meanwhile, it is also necessary to inform the operator and advise him about the precautions he must take for avoiding to be exposed to the electromagnetic fields; particularly, thinking about the fact that the operator normally does more several treatments per day. So, for avoiding to be invested from the electromagnetic field, it is necessary to avoid that the operator gets in touch with the metal part of the applicators and probe. This is why, Elettronica Pagani designed a special probe and a special set of applicators which are completely protected with plastic material. There is no possibility that the operator could get in touch with the electromagnetic field generated and delivered from the unit to the patient only. The HF cable is fully protected and each applicator is made a special insulating connector which is connected to the probe with a second insulating cover.

HOW TO USE THE APPLICATOR

Picture is referring to a probe which is supplied from one of our competitors. By suing the applicator on the way displayed on the picture, the operator into the electromagnetic field and take energy every time he does the application. The metal part of the electrode gets in touch with the hand of the operator.

No side effects, safe and sure for the operator and the patient. The uniform increase in temperature generated by the electrode is free of side effects and does not overheat the skin.Probe and the relevant applicators are isolated and no electromagnetic field is coming and delivered to the operator.

TRC – RESISTIVE AND CAPACITIVE THERAPY

PRECAUTIONS BEFORE APPLICATIONSTATIC MODALITYStatic application could be performed with TRC by using the best care for avoiding burns and further damages to the patient. At this proposal, it is suggested to use the static application as a complementary application to the massage treatment which is the main way of performing TRC. Also, while using static application, it is suggested to set a very low intensity. While the pathology is requiring for higher intensity, it is suggested to perform massage treatment in order to keep continuously monitored the situation of the patient, generally and also locally. In fact, the main application of TRC, the way from which the best benefits could be obtained, is the massage treatment, which permits to the operator to get the feedback from the patient and also allows the operator to make manipulation and massage. Static application is mainly available for treating the patient just before or just after the TRC massage, for completing the treatment.

The top of the applicator could be detached from the hand-piece and the operator could fix it by using the special elastic strap and the relevant holder.
