Conclusions

• In the upcoming years we will face major changes in the mobility domain based on the introduction of new technologies combined with services like shared modes and the introduction of autonomous transportation like cars and manned drones.

These relatively new developments can cause a major reduction in congestion.

• The private sector in the mobility domain will dictate the speed of introduction of new services.

• Government will change it’s attitude from creating certainties to manage uncertainties.

• Legislation has to be ready in time to support the changes in the mobility domain.

• The private sector wants to deploy at existing infrastructure instead of experiment. Government has to facilitate.

• Key terms for the upcominging years are: autonomous, sharing economy, horizontal as well as vertical transfers, AI/self-learning systems and trust.
