What is Fashion?

Fashion is the prevailing mode or style, especially of dress; custom or conventional usage in respect of dress, behavior, etiquette, etc.; particularly, the mode or style usual among persons of good breeding; as, to dress, dance, sing, ride, etc., in the fashion.

What is Tribe?

Tribe is a unit of sociopolitical organization consisting of a number of families, clans, or other groups who share a common ancestry and culture and among whom leadership is typically neither formalized nor permanent.

Statistics and Current State of Tribes in Bangladesh Bangladesh's tribal population consisted of 897,828 persons, just over 1 percent of the

total population, at the time of the 1981 census.

The majority of the tribal population (778,425) lived in rural settings, where many practiced shifting cultivation.

The tribes tended to intermingle and could be distinguished from one another more by differences in their dialect, dress, and customs than by tribal cohesion.

The Manipuris

Origin

Manipuri people are of Mongolian.

They fled from their homeland in the northeastern Indian kingdom of Manipur to settle in East Bengal, which was then ruled by Britain.

Origin

The Tripuri people are considered part of the Tibetan-Burmese ethnic group.

Originally they migrated from Western China.

They had left China long before the Sui dynasty came to power. At the time of migration they were animists.

The Murongs

Origin: Murongs are one of the famous aborigines of Arakan. 

Geographical Position: Murongs now live in Lama, Ruma, Alikadom and Thanchi upazilas near Chimbuk Mountain of Bandarban district.

Wanglai Risa

a piece of cloth like risa to cover their chest when they go to the

market

The wanglai is 9 to 11 inches in breadth and while wearing it

they keep 4 to 6 inches on the left side near the waist empty as

a matter of custom

Conclusion Aboriginals are the ancient group having their own cultures & traditions

these people are not belong to modern era.

They consume their own fashion & tradition.

Their tradition sometime seems to be very different to the people of modern age.

we should have to pay enough respect to them because of preserving their tradition means we are struggling for our own ancient tradition to survive.
