COMPARISON CHART
Solar Systems have always attracted people for their
capability to generate free energy. A lot of efforts have
been put across the globe on advancing the technologies
for solar water heating.
Unfortunately, there are some implementations
inefficiencies built into the current methods of installing,
which do not utilize its full potential. Below problems still
remain in Solar Systems.
Water Mixing Effect:
Solar is generally designed for LPD consumption basis. In case when water is drawn from the tank in the
evening/night, cold water gets introduced in tank, which reduces overall temperature of water. This
water cannot be heated during night hours & results in hot water deficiency in the morning pick period.
Unreliability: On low or No solar days, the user is left with little or no supply. This forces him to go for an electrical
back-up, which costs both in capital as well high operating costs.
High Space consumption for panels:
Needs large floor area for panels & overall structure. In some cases it affects aesthetics of the
bungalows or in case of hotels where terrace area can be utilized for commercial purpose solar panels
could be a concern.
