People of Trinity, your consistory is inviting you to join them in reading the entire Bible in 2016. Please join us as we commit to read The Tyndale One Year Chronological Bible together over the next year. This particular Bible is broken down into 365 daily readings that will take about 15 minutes a day to read. The story of God and his people are presented in the order that the events occurred which helps us better understand the amazing redemptive ministry of Jesus Christ. Our hope is that as you embark on this journey, you will fall in love with the Scriptures and better understand how both the Old and New Testaments reveal what God desires for each of us, in whatever stage of life we are in. The Word of God is foundational to our ministry at Trinity. We are so excited that Bibles will be available to each and every worshiper and friend of Trinity for the asking. Our weekly sermons, small group Bibles studies, daily devotionals and social media will reflect our journey through the Word together. It is our prayer that you will also invite your family and friends to join you on this journey that we are calling - 365: Journey In the Word . (Not a reader? This particular Bible is also available in audio form on Kindle Fire). Please join us. It will change your life! As the rain and the snow come down from heaven, and do not return to it without watering the earth and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater, 11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. -Isaiah 55:10-11 TRINITY REFORMED CHURCH TRINITY REFORMED CHURCH NOVEMBER 2015 connections connections

  • People of Trinity, your consistory is inviting you to join them in reading the entire Bible in 2016.

Please join us as we commit to read The Tyndale One Year Chronological Bible together

over the next year. This particular Bible is broken down into 365 daily readings that will take

about 15 minutes a day to read. The story of God and his people are presented in the order

that the events occurred which helps us better understand the amazing redemptive

ministry of Jesus Christ. Our hope is that as you embark on this journey, you will fall in love

with the Scriptures and better understand how both the Old and New Testaments reveal

what God desires for each of us, in whatever stage of life we are in.

The Word of God is foundational to our ministry at Trinity. We are so excited that Bibles will

be available to each and every worshiper and friend of Trinity for the asking. Our weekly

sermons, small group Bibles studies, daily devotionals and social media will reflect our

journey through the Word together. It is our prayer that you will also invite your family and

friends to join you on this journey that we are calling - 365: Journey In the Word . (Not a

reader? This particular Bible is also available in audio form on Kindle Fire). Please join us. It

    will change your life!

As the rain and the snow come down from heaven,

and do not return to it without watering the earth

and making it bud and flourish, so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,

11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire

and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

    -Isaiah 55:10-11

Soli Deo Gloria Contemporary Ballet Performs “Worship Is” November 8 6:00 pm

Soli Deo Gloria Contemporary Ballet, Michigan’s premiere professional faith-based ballet company, will present one of their original ballets, Worship Is… here at Trinity. Professional dance artists will engage the audience with classical and contemporary ballet

designed to uplift and encourage in a family-friendly performance.

Worship Is…, the company’s newest worship set, is inspired by the idea of worship as a part of every season of our lives. What if worship is more than singing a song and clapping our hands? We were created to worship God. It can be a part of every area of our lives. Worship may change depending on the season of our lives, but its purpose is always the same: to glorify Jesus Christ for who He is and what He has done.

Soli Deo Gloria Contemporary Ballet is in its third season. The dance artists are professional and classically-trained dancers who have worked all over the United States. The vision of Soli Deo Gloria Contemporary Ballet is to use the art of dance for something greater than mere entertainment - using dance that will touch the hearts and souls of the audience. The professional company tours large-scale productions throughout Michigan and provides outreach events and workshops to under-served communities.

The dance production is being performed as part of the Fall Worship Series on Sunday, November 8 at 6pm. A free will offering will be given for Soli Deo Gloria and the work of Mission Partners India, a mission endeavor that Trinity supports. Invite your family and friends to this worship experience

On Sunday, December 13 at 6:00pm

we will gather to worship Jesus the

Savior by offering him our gifts.

    We are asking you

    to participate in

    worship by offering

    a musical piece, a

    reading, a

    testimony, a

    dance, etc.

    Sign up, describe

what you would like to offer, and we will

put all the pieces together as a joyful

    worship celebration.

Sign up at the information table.

    P R E P A R A T I O N We hear the word “preparation” all the time. We

prepare for a test. Baking takes preparation.

Preparing for a career includes many forms of

preparation. During this time of the year, we hear

about preparing for Christmas. We make

shopping lists, guest lists and a list for our lists!!

Unfortunately, we often forget the most

important preparation of all - preparing to

    celebrate the birth of Christ.

At 6 pm, November 22, we will gather as a

    congregation to intentionally prepare for

celebrating Christ coming to earth as a human

being. The evening will include scripture and

music that points us to Christmas. There will also

be hands on activities for all ages. Group leaders

will direct participants in making ornaments,

baking cookies and decorating the sanctuary.

Another group will pray for the evening activities

and that our hearts will be open to the light of

Christmas again. Bring your family and friends for

Hanging of the Greens; an event for all ages.
