ADULT ENRICHMENT CLASS – Sundays, 11:30am – Opal Room – Begins July 9 –Calvary (2014): A Film Study is the title of this 6-week class. In the past we have looked at Jesus in Film, the Bible in Film and Biblical Archetypes in Film. This year we will spend our time looking at one film. We will be taking an in depth look at the 2014 film Calvary. We will spend the first two classes watching the film together with a brief discussion afterward. For the remainder of the classes we will look at how the film functions as an allegory for the Passion week of Jesus. COMMUNITY DINNERS – 1st and 3rd Mondays, 5:00pm – 6:30pm – Fellowship Hall – The next dinner night is July 17. Several community groups will participate by providing these meals. CHURCH PARTY BRIDGE – Friday, Jul 14, 7:00pm – The Tatton’s Home – One good reason for going to church bridge: You enjoy rolling with the punches and having a good time. One reason for not going to church bridge: you hate having a good time. All are welcome, experienced players, inexperienced players and those learning and playing for the first time. Try it! You will like it! FESTIVAL MOSAIC CONCERT – Friday, Jul 21, 12:00 noon – Sanctuary – The Festival Mosaic will provide a FREE lunchtime concert at Trinity as part of their summer music program. CHRISTMAS IN JULY – Sunday, Jul 23 – Wear your favorite Christmas outfit and join us for worship and fellowship. Christmas music and decorations can be seen and heard throughout the week leading up to this fun day. MUSIC APPRECIATION SUNDAY – Sunday, Jul 30 – Our choir and musicians work hard all year round. Join us during worship as we celebrate their joyful offerings. SERMON & HYMN REQUESTS – See Pink Insert – Would you like to sing a special hymn or hear a sermon on a particular subject? Pastor G is taking requests during July for sermon ideas and musical requests to be presented in August. Write your requests on the pink form in your bulletin and place it in the offering plate. TUESDAY WORK CREW – Tuesdays, 9:00am–noon – Opal Room – The Tuesday Crew invites you to join them this summer to help with weeding and other light chores around the church. Kids are especially welcome, a great project for kids 4th grade and up. A parent must accompany children under 10 years old. Break time is from 10:00-10:30, snacks and beverages provided. ROUND ROBIN DINNER GROUPS COMING SOON – See Green insert – Please sign up to join one of our Round Robin Dinner Groups using the green insert in your bulletin. Information about the dinner groups is on the form. Return forms to the church office or to the basket at the back of the church by July 23rd.
