Tristan Albatross (Diomedea dabbenena) is a four stamp issue with values of 35p,
45p, 70p and £1.10p. This issue was produced in association with the WWF.
The Tristan Albatross is one of the three species of Albatrosses to be the most endan-
gered. It is most commonly found living on Gough Island which has around 1,500
pairs nesting on it. The Albatross most fearful threat is long line fishing and mice.
Over the last 50 years the population has decreased by 25% .

This 4 stamp issue shows images and words from poems written by the
children at St Marys School . These poems were then turned into songs by
Tony Triggs who is a private teacher of music. With the help of Mr Triggs and
his pupils, a song book was made, from this sales provided the children of St
Marys School with musical Instruments. These stamps are available in Indi-
vidual sheets of 10 with a face value of 35p, 45p, 70p and £1.10
