Nursing (A.A.S.) For over 50 years, Trocaire College has prepared
highly qualified Registered Nurses in a supportive
teaching/learning environment. Begin your clinical
work in your first nursing semester and take classes
in our state-of-the-art-labs. The program is offered
day or evening to accommodate every student’s
busy schedule.
Nursing (B.S.) With our Bachelor of Science in Nursing
(RN-to-BS) program, develop your leadership
skills and increase your salary potential in just 16
months. Our state-of-the-art patient simulators
and fully equipped health assessment and nursing
labs provide an interactive learning environment.
The program is offered in a hybrid format
combining online and on-campus classes.
Practical Nursing (Certificate)The Practical Nursing program prepares you to
become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in just
3 full-time semesters. As a LPN you will be able
to work in a variety of healthcare settings, such
as hospitals, long-term care facilities, and
medical practices.

Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Certificate) In just 12 months, you can further build upon your
A.A.S. degree in Radiologic Technology by pursuing
a certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
This program focuses on the use of sound waves
to record anatomic structures within the body.
The program prepares highly skilled graduates
who provide critical diagnostic information for
patient care.
Echocardiography (Certificate)
This program is a specialized concentration within
the field of ultrasound applied to structures of the
heart. With an allied health degree, the certificate
in Echocardiography can be completed in just 12
months. Your learning will take place in lecture,
lab, and hands-on clinical experiences.
Radiologic Technology (A.A.S.) Combining state-of-the-art technology and
imaging techniques, the Radiologic Technology
(RT) program is a two-year program with
lecture, laboratory, and hands-on clinical
experiences for the diagnosis and treatment
of disease and injury.
Radiologic Technology (B.S.)The Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic
Technology (RT) has a specialty in Computed
Tomography (CT). The program builds upon an
A.A.S. in RT by preparing you for the position of
CT specialist and the broader sphere of biomedical
imaging. Classes are primarily offered evenings.

Massage Therapy (A.A.S. or Certificate) Located at Trocaire on Seneca, 2262 Seneca St., Buffalo, NY 14210
The Massage Therapy program offers students
a comprehensive learning experience through
a combination of hands-on training in the
massage therapy laboratory, in-class lecture,
and clinical components to provide practical
experience. Students receive a broad variety of
instruction covering both western and eastern
massage therapy techniques with an emphasis on
professionalism and client assessment.
Nutrition and Dietetics (A.A.S.)Located at Russell J. Salvatore School of Hospitality & Business, 6681 Transit Road, Williamsville, NY 14221
The Nutrition and Dietetics program merges the
science of nutrition with the knowledge and skills of
food service management. Students participate in
supervised practical experiences in area healthcare
facilities and community agencies where they
put into practice their nutrition assessment, diet
counseling and food service management skills.
Medical Assistant (A.A.S.) The Medical Assistant program prepares graduates
with the skills necessary to assist with patient care
management, as well as to perform administrative
and clinical procedures. Students will be prepared
for employment in clinics, hospitals, and medical
practices. A supervised externship will
provide students the opportunity to
apply what they have learned in the classroom.
Surgical Technology (A.A.S.) Surgical Technologists are critical members of the
surgical team and work closely with the surgeon,
circulating nurse, and anesthesiologist to provide
a safe environment for the patient undergoing
surgical intervention. The primary role of the
Surgical Technologist is to prepare and maintain a
sterile field and pass instruments to the surgeon.
Clinical and laboratory experiences introduce
concepts relating to patient need, surgical
conditions and routines, human behavior and
communication. Classroom theory is applied to
clinical practice in the operating room setting.

Computer Network Administration program offers
a unique hands-on curriculum that gives students

enterprises. Jobs can include support and network

A new and growing field, Healthcare Informatics
combines healthcare, technology, and business.
Healthcare Informatics forms a communication
infrastructure that connects and enables the
flow of critical information to and from each of
the stakeholders involved in the delivery of
patient care. Healthcare Informatics personnel
aid healthcare professionals in decision-making
based on data in areas such as staffing,
scheduling, and inventory management.
Offered as an evening and weekend program.
Health Information Technology (A.A.S.)Technicians in the Health Information field process
and maintain up-to-date and correct patient
records by using computerized software programs.
The electronic medical health record is a critical
component of patient care. This program is offered
evenings with the exception of a day professional
practice experience requirement.

Tuition As Western New York’s most affordable
private college, you are investing in your
future earning potential while preparing for a
rewarding career. Tuition for the 2013-2014
academic year is $14,980.00 for full-time
students. Part-time tuition is $620.00 per
