Dapo EGBEYEMI

Dapo Egbeyemi is a seasoned accountant with over 30 years of professional experience. He graduated in Accounting from the University of Lagos in 1985, starting his career as a banker with Nigeria International Bank (Now Citibank Nigeria) in 1986 and later moved to Chartered Bank (Now Stanbic IBTC) as a pioneering member of their team. He left Commercial Banking in 1994 as Deputy General Manager of Commercial Trust Bank, to start Worthwhile Ventures, owners of Locks n Switches. He sits on several boards including Cornerstone Insurance Plc.

Kunle OSILAJA

Kunle Osilaja has over 25 years experience in International Real Estate. He was Chair of Lead Directors for Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Finance UK. His experience includes a wide variety of real estate transactions - asset sales, structured loan financing, equity raising and advisory for indirect investment vehicles and joint ventures, development and acquisition financing. He served as European Director, Head Debt & Structured Finance at Jones Lang LaSalle Corporate Finance from 2002 to 2012.

Leye TAIWO (Chief Executive Officer)

Leye Taiwo is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Troloppe Property Services, and has been responsible for steering the business into its current position from inception to date as well as signing major strategic partnerships. Prior to setting up Troloppe, he worked in financial advisory with Standard Chartered Bank and First Bank of Nigeria, before joining Shonny Investments & Properties Company as Head of Business Development. He holds a Masters in International Business from Webster Graduate School, Regents College, UK and a Bachelors in Law and Marketing from the University of the West of England, Bristol. He also sits on the boards of Cranium One and the Aart of Life Foundation.

Mayowa ADEMUYEWO (Director, Facilities Management)

Mayowa Ademuyewo is a seasoned Facilities Management Professional with experience in various sectors including, commercial, industrial, residential and retail property, He gained over 11 years experience with some of the largest property management firms in the UK, including Mainstay Group, Peverel and Hazelvine, before moving to Cote D’Ivoire with Eburny Property Solutions, setting up its Property Management business. He is a graduate of Built and Natural Environment from the University of the West of England, Bristol. He is a Member of the Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM), Member of the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), and a Member of the British Institute of Facilities Management (BIFM).

Jonathan MILLARD(Director, Advisory Services)

Jonathan Millard is a Canadian national with 10 years’ experience studying, living and working in East and West Africa. He has had a constant engagement in Nigeria since 2008. Prior to joining Troloppe he served in an advisory role on projects in sectors including telecoms, real estate, oil and gas, transportation infrastructure, and urban planning. Most recently, he spent 5 years with McCabe and Partners a boutique corporate finance and strategy consulting firm, founded in 2006 by former McKinsey & Company consultants that focuses exclusively on advising clients in sub-Saharan Africa. Jonathan is also a Director of Real Estate for LBH Limited, advising on real estate holdings in excess of $50m US in Lagos and Abuja. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Public Affairs and Policy Management from Ottawa’s prestigious Arthur Kroeger College and an Msc from the University of Oxford.

REAL ESTATE ADVISORY

Our real estate advisory offers services that help our clients manage risk and increase the effectiveness of their operations, while at the same time performing activities in a more efficient and cost-controlled manner. Our market research team produces high quality research on real estate investment performance and market fundamentals that assist to elevate the quality of real estate decision making. On an ongoing basis, our team conduct detailed field surveys across the commercial and residential markets gathering information on key industry statistics such as: occupancy rates, rental and sales values, lease terms, supply and demand statistics.

Working in a data-weak environment, it is critical that methodology captures the full picture, fills holes in data compared to more mature markets. Troloppe’s methodology for research therefore is rooted in directly collecting our own data in ‘door-to-door’ assessments using our 50 point data collection system with 90% accuracy which we triangulate with actual transaction data and high level interviews with key industry executives. Through this methodology, we have one of the largest, most complete and accurate databases in Nigeria. Our database consists of tens of thousands of properties each with a unique code and a property profile for each investment property.
