Troubleshooting Wifi Problems

1. Open Control Panel

2. Click View Network Status and Tasks

3. Click Adapter Settings on the left

4. If your Wi-Fi is disabled, Right click it and click Enable

5. If it is not connected to a router, you have to connect it. Go down to the taskbar and click the arrow

6. Find an icon that says “connections are available”

7. Find your router, in this case my router is NETGEAR-13 and press connect.

8. You will be prompt to enter your router’s password.(You can usually find it on a sticker under or behind your router) Or Press the Wifi Protected Setup (WPS) button on your router to connect to the network.

9. Once connected you’ll always want to test your connection by going to a webpage. You can go to www.yahoo.com and see if it the connection is properly working.

10. If the webpage isn’t working, please contact your internet provider and see if your router is getting connection from their end.
