Side A: different design for connectors on the detector (has been assembled after lessons from side C)

Close to the detector pipes are glued to the plastic connector.That was the reason why the leaks on side A appeared later than on side C.

But still there are places with stress

It might be crack in the pipe(most likely just a defect)

The bigest problem the bracket regions

Now environment inside of the pipe is the same but technique should be adopted to this design.

There are 4 tubes which have larger wall thickness -> even endoscope cannot go inside.

Preventive repair: isolate bracket region from ozone installing 3 mm pipe deep behind of brackets.

Next steps (side A):

•3 lines repaired.

•7 more will be repaired today

•Repair of the remaining 4 with smaller inner diameter will be tested tomorrow. Hopefully will be repaired in Fr.

•Leak tests will continue may be Mo.-Tu.

•On We. - Th. we will look for faulty connections at PPF1

•Th.-Fr. Close side A.


Recommended
