GAME CONTROLSLARA CROFT

At the age of nine, Lara survived a plane crashin the Himalayan Mountains that led to her mother’smysterious disappearance.

After miraculously surviving a ten-day solotrek to Kathmandu, Lara spent the rest of herchildhood under the close tutelage of herarchaeologist father, the late Earl of Abbingdon,Richard Croft.

At 18, following the death of her father,Lara inherited the Croft estates and becameCountess of Abbingdon. Since then shehas been credited with the discoveryof numerous archaeological sites ofinternational significance in her effortsto uncover the secrets of the ancientcivilization that underlies all officiallyrecorded history.

Lara Croft has been hailed as bothan archaeological wunderkind anda glorified treasure hunter. Countlessrumors surround her exploits, invariably involving the unexplainedor outright unbelievable.

Lady Croft herself is rarely availablefor comment, further adding to thefog of mystery that surrounds herlife and work. Consequently, Lara

continues to be the focus of wildspeculation and intense debate.

Idealized and vilified in equal measure, she is perhaps one of the most fascinatingand enigmatic figures of our time.
