How to proceed?
- Choose your language
- Place your Alfapass at the indicated position.
- Put your finger on the scanning glass.
- If applicable, follow the safety instructions
- Answer the questions of the quiz
- Enter your TAR code(s).
- Follow the instructions on the display.
- At the end, you take the printed ticket with the instructions.
The highlights:
- TAR kiosk: write down the TAR after you have entered the information. You must enter it in the SSD yourself. (Even better: make the TAR in advance)
- ADR: If you have the necessary ADR certificates, register them at Alfapass. If the information cannot be read, it might be necessary to go first to the problem desk.
- Safety instructions/-quiz: You will get 5 questions after the instructions. If you have not answered them correctly, you will get another 5 questions. This can be repeated three times,
but then, you will have to watch the video for the second time. Again, two attempts are
being offered to complete an error-free quiz.
If a driver still fails to complete this task, he will not be allowed at the terminal, on that day.
- Scanning of Documents: Concerns the scanning of documents, accompanying export containers.
EX document – Just hold the MRN barcode to the scanner.
T document - MRN scanning is only possible if Antwerp is the Office of Issue.
NB: This will not be active in the first phase.
- Name of transport company: Some companies are known by several names and acronyms. The driver will only be able to use 1 name per company : the name, which is used as standard
in our system (and thus, also in ePortal / TAMS) - maximum 7 characters.
- Problem desk: remains available for problems that are solvable, within their field.
