• Lower energy / higher output – Less energy waste and better light color and intensity • Lukewarm operating temperature – Does not get hot like halogen light cover lenses • Bright white light color (6,500K) – This quality delivers optimal visual contrast (much better than the soft yellow light produced from halogen lights) • Three stands – Mount Vision Pro LED lights suit a variety of needs: magnetic base, portable tubular mount, or tri-pod style FEATURES AND BENEFITS TRUCKING & AUTOMOTIVE • Bus and truck mechanics routinely use portable high- powered lighting under the buses while they work. The work area is small, so power cords and tripods become trip hazards. Vehicle undercarriages are usually power-washed before servicing and arrive wet. • Halogen lights get dangerously hot and raise work area temperature, increase fire hazards, and cause burns. Water dripping on hot lens glass can cause the lenses to break in service. • Partsmaster’s RECHARGEABLE Vision Pro high power work lights deliver up to 7 hours of super bright, ultra-white light to optimize visibility under the bus. Trip hazards are eliminated, as no power cords are needed. The water resistant light and lens doesn’t get hot, so dripping water won’t crack the lens. Plus, the working area doesn’t overheat. Attach the light to the magnetic base and secure it to any steel surface. APPLICATION STEPS • Attach the 120V or the 12V charger cable to the 11.1V Lithium- Ion battery charger port on the back side of the light housing. A single charge can last up to 5 hours continual use on LOW setting (8W, 1000L/6500K) and 3 hours on HIGH setting (15W, 1200L/6500K) • Attach the cordless Vision Pro lamp on to one of three different base types - magnetic base, portable tubular mount, or tri-pod style • Use the magnetic base for applications where steel structures are nearby to attach to the base (frequently used for vehicles deployed for mobile repair activities) • The tripod and the portable tubular base are great options for frequent changing light positions APPLICATION STORY Lighting Under Wet Buses VISION PRO LED WORK LIGHTS

FEATURES AND BENEFITS

TRUCKING & AUTOMOTIVE

• Bus and truck mechanics routinely use portable high-powered lighting under the buses while they work. The work area is small, so power cords and tripods become trip hazards. Vehicle undercarriages are

usually power-washed before servicing and arrive wet.

APPLICATION STEPS

• Attach the 120V or the 12V charger cable to the 11.1V Lithium-Ion battery charger port on the back side of the light housing. A single charge can last up to 5 hours continual use on LOW setting (8W, 1000L/6500K) and 3 hours on HIGH setting (15W, 1200L/6500K)

• Attach the cordless Vision Pro lamp on to one of three different base types - magnetic base, portable tubular mount, or tri-pod style

• Use the magnetic base for applications where steel structures are nearby to attach to the base (frequently used for vehicles deployed for mobile repair activities)

• The tripod and the portable tubular base are great options for frequent changing light positions

Cost Savings Summary

Date: July 2014

Repair Problem: Dependable Bright Lighting for Dark, Wet Work Spaces Customer Type: Trucking & Automotive

Original Repair Procedure and Result: Customer used halogen lighting on a tripod mount in a wet and confined work environment. Their halogen light lenses got very hot and occasionally cracked when tipped or splashed with water. Uneven floor surfaces and tripping on the cords caused the tripods to tip and fall, occasionally breaking lenses and bulbs. Lens protectors do not always protect prevent damage. Replacement lenses were unavailable, so they had to trash their lights whenever lenses broke. Halogen bulbs typically last 2000 hours (450 days, with 4hr / day usage). Bulb replacement can take 30 minutes and they had to stock replacement bulbs. The annual electricity cost to operate one double halogen light at 600W X 600W for 4hrs / day, 365 days / year, at $0.15 / kWh totals: $262. The approximate bulb cost + labor to replace 1 bulb is $20.

Est Annual Cost Using 1ea 1200W Portable Halogen Light: $282

Procedure and Results Using Partsmaster Products & Solutions: The Vision Pro Rechargeable Light & Magnetic Base eliminated lights tipping or falling. Since Vision Pro Lights only get warm, water contact does not break the lens covers, even though replacement lenses are readily available. The annual electricity cost to operate (recharge) one lighting unit 3hrs/day @ 216 W/charge @ $0.15kWh X 365 days / year is only $11.83.

Est Annual Cost Using 1ea Partsmaster 120V Vision Pro Lights: $12

Estimated 1-Year Savings, One Light: $270

Estimated 1-Year Savings, Four Lights: $1,080

Additional Applications

• Fire & Rescue use cordless light and attach the magnetic base to the truck at night when re-stowing hoses & equipment

• Mobile dispatch repair activities

• Perfectly suited for use in dark wet work areas

• Vision Pro LED 11.1V rechargeable lights are ideal during temporary power outages
