MedPhys 40(4): 2013 The TrueBeam® system platform 2.7 contains a CBCT imaging suite which provides image guidance for moving targets. These expanded image guidance capabilities will offer the benefits of improved imaging of soft tissue targets through reduced motion artifacts, and streamlined workflows for breath-hold stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) and extracranial radiosurgery treatments. These benefits will ultimately provide increased confidence to the clinician that the treatment was delivered as planned.
