4 Basic Facial Forms

Square In the Square Face, the sides of the face from

the hairline to the levels of the condyles to the angles of the jaw are straight and parallel.

Square TaperingIn the Square Tapering Face, the

sides of the head are parallel from the condyles upward. From

the condyles downward along the sides of the face, the outline tapers in to the angles of the jaw.

TaperingThe Tapering Face is

widest at the hairline and narrowest at the

angles of the jaw. The lines converge in

toward the jaw.

OvoidThe Ovoid Face is

widest through the center at the level of

the condyles. It curves upward and downward to form an oval outline.

TruExpression Denture TeethWe Call It: Custom Deluxe!Today’s denture market is complex and demanding. Patients and Dentists require options to address multiple patient needs for partial and full dentures. TruExpression offers a harmony “True-to-Life” shade blending and durable materials. For the patient seeking the next step in improved dental appearance and functional durability.

It starts with the Bioform® tooth indicator systemChoosing the right tooth for a patient can be difficult for the clinician or laboratory technician. DENTSPLY makes it easy! All TruExpression teeth have been harmonized to fit within the trusted Bioform tooth indicator system – a method of correlating the patient’s facial shape, to the physiology of their natural dentition. Using the 4 Basic Facial Forms, a recommended style of TruExpression mould can easily be identified.

TruExpression Shade Popularity

TruExpression teeth are available in sixteen Vita A-D shades*, as well as two illumine™ bleach shades, i2 and i4. An 18-tab shade guide is available.

TruExpression is made from a multi-cross linked polymer known as MXL, allowing TruExpression teeth to wear gradually like natural dentition. DENTSPLY warrants this toothline with a 10-year warranty against excessive wear, breakage or discoloration.

Made in the USATruExpression teeth, like all Trubyte teeth, are made in the USA.

Look for the: “Hc” on the mould chartThis new series of “highly characterized” moulds

provides the option to address distinctive tooth

morphology seen in today’s patients. Moulds marked

“Hc” provide larger mould size options (up to 50%

larger), with wide food table platforms, longer crown

forms and realistic aesthetic details.

All TruExpression denture teeth are constructed of

durable MXL material which is a highly cross-linked

acrylic, developed to deliver good wear resistance

in both partial and full denture cases. Both the

original TruExpression moulds and the new “highly

characterized” series offer “True-to-Life” shade

blending that mimics natural dentition.

Some manufacturers market lingualized occlusion as a card of teeth when it is, in fact, a set-up technique. This simple and predictable occlusal approach, utilizing two points of contact, helps to enhance patient mastication, phonetics and deglutition.

With TruExpression, laboratories and dentists can work collaboratively to choose the posterior teeth most appropriate for the patient.

Lingualized Occlusion is a Set-up Technique!
