TRUMANSBURG ROTARY MEETING MINUTES FOR November 19, 2020 President Peggy started the meeting by having Durand catch us up on Share the Warmth. Durand states he will pick up this Saturday and it will be a full load. The Trumansburg community is a very generous one. Tom reported that his grandson is not having much luck on finding a bone marrow donor match. They are still trying. The District Finance Committee approved the money for the Creche Bom Pastor project which Tom Overbaugh presented to the club. The club has decided not to do the bill ringing at the Shursave. The club has suggested to put up a sign that the Rotary Club of Trumansburg supports the Salvation Army so all the customers will know we are helping. Please bring suggestions for the wording of the sign to the next meeting which will be December 3 rd. Cindy reported that she received word from the Christmas Bureau, and we have a family with three children. Because we cannot meet in person, Cindy will do the shopping and take the articles for each child to Peggy, Kathleen, and Mike for wrapping. Then Peggy will deliver them to the Bureau. The Legion is not quite ready to have us meet yet. We were told that they will be cleaning the parking lot of snow only on Tuesdays and Saturdays. The club then decided to change our meeting day to Tuesday once we can use the Legion so we will be able to have parking. Kathleen reported that she received the final grant report from the Lodi Library. The meeting ended at 7:42.
