3. Operation and maintenance
The unit provides clean drinking water after a fewminutes. The system works quiet with an extremely lowenergy consumption of approx. 350 W/h. The unitrequires only low maintance and is easy to operate.Local staff can perform all necessary maintenancechecks and replace spare parts.
4. Technology
The Trunz Water Trailer is equipped with 3 automaticbackflushing prefilters for larger particels and a self-cleaning ultrafiltration membrane (or a Reverse Osmosissystem for sea/brackish water). The Trunz Water Trailer is equipped with a solar poweredTWS 100 water treatment system or a TSS 100 desalinationsystem. It is complete and ready to deploy. The systems provides7’000 to 15’000 litres of clean drinking water per day from anywater source. Powered by renewable solar and/or wind energy itcan run 24 hours a day without ongoing fuel and fuel transportcosts. The system produces extra energy for running differentelectric installations. The system is complete with trailer, bore-hole type delivery pump, Trunzs’ exclusive automatic back
flushing filtration, batteries, solar panels and controls. An ultra-filtration membrane or a reverse osmosis system (for sea andbrackish water) removes all virus, bacteria and salt withoutrequiring toxic chemical treatment.
