man.Back in 1946 the imperat ive need to

establish a college became appa rent .The radio broadcast ing had far outgrown the facilities available in Eugene,Oregon, where the broadcasting andpublish ing work had started. Also wehad outgrown existing pr inting facilities there .

Broadcasting facilities to accommodate the expanding radio program existed only in Hollywood or New York,W e didn't want to move to H ollywood. So I began tramping afoot thestreets of Pasadena in quest of a location far a college with adequate officespace for the broadcasting and pub lishing work.

I thought I knew the type of p lacewe wanted. But this is the W ORK OF

Goo-and the living God thoughtotherwise. I was led to what had beenthe Fowler Estate-at 363 Grove Street, just off South Orange Grove Boulevardwhich had been nationally famous afew years before as "Millionaire Row."Th e "estate" consisted of 21/1 acres ofsadly neglected grounds, but which hadbeen magn ificently landscaped. Therewas the main building, of institutionaldesign , but wh ich in former years had

that included the stately and elegantMemorial Hall and its wide expanse ofbeautiful lawns, its four magnificentga rdens and its aviary! And it wasbought with United States dollars !

Of course, at that time it was in astate of neglect. \X!eeds covered thegrounds and these gardens hip -high.We discovered the magnificent gardensafte r we began to cut down the weeds.

All this involves a TRUTH , and aLESSON! which all our readers ought tolearn .

Let me tell you the FACTs-as theyhappened. And then I want to tellYOU- Iedch you, if you will, and if youdo not already understand- the realLESSON from God's instru ction Book to

O NeE in a while a visitor to oneof our colleges in Pasadena orin England will express sur

prise on seeing the fine buildings, andthe magnificent landscaping .

"Why, Mr . Armstrong!" exclaimedone lady on entering beautiful Memorial Hall in England, "do you believesuch elegance as this building-suchcharm and beauty as you have all overthese grounds-can be conducive toeducation r:

I smiled. "Of course!" I replied."We don't merely believe it-it's notan opinion-wE KNOW IT. Eighteenyears of experience have demo nstratedit. It has helped bu ild fine, up rightCHARACT ER in hundreds of young menand women students,"

Let me explain W HY !

Then recently, in England , a self styled "feat ure writer" attem pted toput a fine, upstanding institution ofintegrity and reputat ion in a bad light. He implied that this fine building, with its delightful and beautiful gardens and grounds, was "extravagance"-and that we "demanded' tithes ofpoor people who could not afford it,so that our officials and students couldlive in "luxury" and "opulence:' Andthat was a colossal LIE!

Now HEAR TtlE PLAIN TRUTH aboutit!

In the first place, we never "demand" anybody's tithes. In the secondplace, not one penny of any Britishsubject's tithes or freewill offeringswent into the pu rchase of that property, And not a ha'p'ny or a thrup'ny-bitof any British subject's tithes or offerings goes into its maintenance.

In the third place, we happened todiscover th is very fine property, justoutside London in the beaut ifu l GreenBelt, back in 1959, offered for sale forless money that we had to pay, herein Pasadena, Califo rnia , for a small lot40 feet wide and 75 feet deep. And

been a millionaire's residence. Therewas a [our-car garage, with servants'apartments at each end and on a secondfloor- which could be converted intoan office building. There was a tenn iscourt and, on the lower grounds, a"garden theatre" with a tempietto asa speaker's platform.

But we had no money with whichto buy it. Not even a down payment! At the time it was costing us, in Eugene, for office rental and broadcasttranscriptions, 1,200 per month. Imade the owner of the Fowler Estatea proposition . I d idn't th ink he'd accept. But it was all we could affo rd.

It was a proposition that wouldREDUCE our monthly expenditures byS200. We could use that S200 permonth saving to purchase time on Doe

more small radio station! The proposition was a lease-and-option deal. W ewould pay on a 25-month lease a rentalof SI,OOO per month. At the end of25 months we were to have the privilege of exercising our option, converting the lease into a purchase. The$25,00 0 to have been paid by thenwould apply as the down payment. Then we would continue to make thesame SI, OOO per month payments untilthe property was paid out.

To my surprise, the proposition wasaccepted! T HE PRO PERTY COST usN OTHING! Rather, it was like beillgpaid S200 per month to accept it as agift.

We converted what had been twobedrooms and a bath into our ownRADIO STUDIO. Of course we had to invest in a small amount of recordingequipme nt-but we bought it secondhand and cheap. My son Dick becameour recording studio operator. Thissaved the high cost of broadcast recordings. We made a very few slightalterations in the former garage, andconverted it into a 14-room officebuilding. Thi s eliminated a monthlyexpense of several hundred dollars wehad to pay in Eugene for office rent.

N ow WAS THAT EXTRAVAGANCE ?Some critics accused it was. But really,SAVING $200 a month on reduced expenses was practical ECONOMy-notextravagance! That main building wasthen "the college," Today it is theLibrary-except that the radio studio,

The PLAIN TRUTH

enlarged, still occupies the same original location.

October 8, 1947, Ambassador College opened its door (not doors) tofour pioneer students and eigh t facultymembers with a heavy balance ofPh.D.s and M.A.s. In 1949 the adjoining mansion, Mayfair , was acquiredas a student residence. By that time wehad managed a 5,000 down payment. But this was an income-producingprope rty. It had been used as an apartment building, filled with payingguests. W e vacated enough rooms forstudents, and retained the payingguests for a while. Thi s paid the payments. There was certainly no "extravagance" in this transaction. Webought it for a comparatively lowprice.

Later, in early 1956, the multimillionaire Hulett C. Merritt, just beyond Mayfair, died. That was the mostfabulous property in Pasadena. Was thatour "extravagance?" N OT AT ALL-itwas Mr. Merritt' s-a1ld he conld affordit!

Th e property was going to be boughtat public auction by speculators, to demolish the ornate mansion which hadcost Mr. Merr itt SI,100,000 to build, and erect new garden apartments onthe site, Th is also would have destroyed the fantastically magnificentsunken garden on the Orange Grovefront of the property. It was going tocost $15,000 to dismantle and haulaway the big mansion, so the speculators were not willing to bid very high.

Our representatives bought it-forless than the ornamental iron fencearound the Orange Grove front of theproperty would cost today! Just a tinyfraction of what the proper ty had originally cost!

Oh yes, Ambassador Hall, as we renamed it, is, indeed an ornate, fine andstately building. Mr. Merritt's formerfabulous dining room, where he winedand dined the Board of Directors of theUnited States Steel Corpor ation, is nowour faculty dining room. WE could notafford, ourselves, to build such a luxurious room. Mr. Merritt did affo rd it,and we obtained it for virtually nothing. The massive solid mahogany table, and the high-backed hand-tooled massive leather-covered chairs did not come

April, 1965

with the property_But I purchasedthem, later, for exactly S10o-believeit or not ! Would you call that extravaganCe-DR INCREDIBLE ECONOMY?

Let me repeat-THIS IS THE WORKOF THE LIVING GOD. The Jesus Christwe serve is ALIVE and quite ACTIVEtoday! He heads this Work. He provides for it the very finest- and delivers it into our hands providentiallyat little or no cost to us-as if bystrangest co-incidence! The beautifulRosewood room, now a student loungein this building, is surely as fine asany room in the Wh ite House. We areglad Mr. Merritt cosld affo rd it-andour students are privileged to ENJOYit! But WE indulged in no extravagance !

In the No vember, 1949, issue ofThe PLAIN TRUTH I wrote an articleon this very subject, captioned " lsAmbassador College too Bealltiful?"We had recently purchased Mayfair. That was 16 years ago. Not many ofour present readers were subscribersthen. It said precisely what I want tosay to you, now. So I reprint it here:

Ought it, then, to be ugly?Is God displeased with beatltiflll

things, with things that are the veryfinest and best-combining His ownglorious and beautiful nature in a variety of stately, beautiful and raretrees, shrubs, vines, hedges, flowerswith buildings, and furnishings thatrepresent the very best and most conscientious of human effort and craftsmanship?

Is God displeased because we atAmbassador take care to carefully dressand keep up the rare and magn ificentplace He provided for His college ?Would we please Him more if we letit run down, go to weeds, and to rustand rot ?

Everywhere, VIO LE NCE runs rampant. You read of violence with yourevery breakfast; you hear of it for everylunch; you see it for every dinner.

And nowhere, it seems, is there anymore violence than right in the midstof the greatest "CHRISTIAN" nation onearth!

Why? W hat's wrong ? Why so muchHATE in the world?

A W orldwide Dise ase

It all makes "good" newspaper copy,"good" television script, "good" movieplots. GOOD? Well, no-not actually;but these evil attributes, actions or implied actions draw more public attention.

And it's because all of it is so muchlike HUMAN NATURE.

Your Bible prophesied worldwidehatred and B1GOTRY would grip theminds of men dllring this time.' Morethan ever before, people seem prone, today, to bestial acts of VIOLEN CE!

And why? Because suspicion, hatred, bigotry, violence-these are the stead)'diet of much of the world ,

The Apostle Paul was inspired tolook beyond his time, down into ours.He portrayed the hostile, venomous attitudes of our peoples when he said,"This know also, that in the last daysPER ILOUS times shall come. For menshall be lovers of their own selves[SELFISH, SELF-CENTERED as never before !], covetous, [LUSTING, COVETING,

ment off icer told our students how police offi cials ace frankly worried aboutthe terrible increase in senseless crimes!(Does ANY crime make sense ?) Howacts of wanton destruct ion against persons and property were increasing byleaps and bounds.

He cited instances of "little oldladies" who were brutally BEATEN tothe ground by strong young teen-agehoodlums- for the sheer brute "pleasure" of inflicting a BEATING on someone who was helpless before them.

He cited cases of depraved acts ofVANDA LIsM-especially against publicbuildings and schools. Cases of teen-agevandals literally making a SHAMBLESout of new. beautiful , modern classroom facilities---even, believe it or not.using human excrement to defile andrum.

As if to echo Chief Addi s' words , arecent news report told of park offi cials in the city of Pasadena findin gjagged shards of broken bottles carefully placed in the sand, and thenlightly covered over, at the bottom oflittle children's slides in Pasadena public parks 1

Are THESE just " laughable" children's "pranks"? Is this just "delinquency" ? Or is it an unreasoning, blind. venomous, wanton, willful, depraved MURDEROUS spirit of wantingto CUT, maim, BUTC HE R, TORM ENT,KILL ?

D o YOU believe the plain statementsof your Creator and your God ? Or areYOU one who will continue to "kid"yourself this rotten world "isn't so badafter all" and go right down WITH itinto a cesspool of nightmarish destruction unimagined 10 your weirdestdreams?

Almighty God will soon send JesusChrist to PUNISH this world of evil doers! And don 't "kid" yourself tha tsounds "relig ious!" You'll find littlecomfort in imagining yoursel f out ofreality when the REALITY is all aroundyou !

Like it or not-these are the FACTSof our HATE-filled society !

But hatred is not confined to theteen-age heart. It's a disease of thehuman mind. It is in your very NATUREto HATE !

April, 1965

HUMAN NATIJRE What It Is!

It's HUMAN NA'tURE to hate.God made human beings what they

are. He created man with a certainnature.

W e call it "human nature." And it'sstill the greatest enigma to phi losophers, psychologists , sociologists. :MAN}they say is sti ll "the biggest questionmark."

On e psychiatrist said, before a groupof fellow psychiat rists, "W e all becameinterested in psychiatry because weknew we ourselves had some mentalproblems!"

But GOD, the Inventor of the humanheart, REVEALS its true nature. "Theheart is deceitful above ALL THINGS,and DESPERATELY wicked : who canknow it ?" (Jeremiah 17 :9,)

Yes, the normal , natural, fleshlymind-the mind with which you we reBORN-is DESPERATELY wicked, unle ssit has been CHANGED by the natureof God !

Paul was inspired to write, "Th e carnal mind [the natural mind of everyperson] is ENMITY against God : for itis not subject to the law of God , neither indeed call be!" (Rom. 8:7,)

The normal, natural, CARNAL mindof every man and every woman-yesand of every child- RESENTS the thingsof God ! The natural mind is ALWAYSSUSPICIOUS ! It is ENVIOUS, LUSTFUL,EVIL, RESENTFUL, HATEFUL!

James wrote, "Do you think that theScripture saith in vain, 'the spirit thatdwelleth in us LUSTETH TO ENVY?' ''(James 4:5 .)

Today, if you feel you'r e basically a"Christian" kind of person-you probably feel Chris t really WAS the promised Messiah. You feel, whether or notyou are a really zealous Christianthat Jesus Chr ist probably really WASgenuine. At least, if you're like mostpeople, you couldn't call Christ a guiltyEVIL-doer, could you?

But what about those who livedright with Jesus Christ ? Who SAW Hismiracles WITH THEIR OWN EYES ?

What about those who lived in Jerusalem during the time of Christ's merciless BEATING-His terrible night of

KICKS, CURSES, SPITTING, HATRED,VENOMOUS ACCUSATIONS? What aboutthose who HAD A PART IN IT?

What about the hate-filled MOB thatscreamed out their animalistic bestiality-"KllL HIM! CRUOFY HIM!BUTCHER HIM! "?

God tells you NOT to bear them anymalice-NOT to HATE THEM-even asChrist Himself said, from His tree ofdeath "Father forgive them-they knownot what they do !"

But do you UNDERSTAND the reasonthey acted as they did ?

Do you RECOGNIZE the EXACT, SAMEIDENTICAL NATURE IN YOURSELF ?

It's TH ERE-recognized or not.L' fan)' of those same participants in

the illegal crucifixion of Christ tooktheir hatred, their firm belief they hadrid the world of a TERRIBLE person- to their grat'eJ with them.

They somehow convinced themselvesthey should be terribly, indignantly,"righteously" ANGRY at Christ!

They CONVINCED themselves He wasa FAKE! They thought they "KNEW"they were uncovering, exposing, andpunishing some GREAT EVIL!

Today, YOU KNOW BETTER ! Butmost of them NEVER did!

Christ Says I t Will GrowWorse!

And remember-Jesus pred icted thisevil disease of hatred would growworse and fl'orJe-heightening in intensity until blind RAGE would characterize our day.

Paul said, "And even as they didnot like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind [a deceitful, hateful, DEGENERATE mind}, to do those thingswhich are NOT RIGHT [margin}; beingfilled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness, full of ENVY, MURDER, DEBATE, DECEIT, MALIGNITY ; whisperers[ delighting in SCANDAL - in filth, evil,RUMOR!}, backbiters, HATERS of God,delpileful, proud, boasters, inventorsof EVIL things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant breakers [ not true to their word) , withoutnatural affection [NEVER willi ng togive the oth er fellow the benefit of thedoubt}, implacable [the ir minds UNWILLING to change-to admit newlight, to see new facts, or accept thetruth !] , unmerciful: who KNOWINGthe judgment of God, that they which

commit such things are worthy ofDEATH, not only DO the same, butHAVE PLEASURE in them that do them"(Rom. 1:28-32) .

This world is literally FILLED withhuman beings who fit this very description! And why not ? It's a description of HUMAN NATURE in theraw . ..human nature JUST THE WAYIT IS!

Jesus warned, "In the world ye shallhave tribulation : but be of good cheer;I have overcome the world" (John16:33) . He prayed to His Father, "Ihave given them [His disciples, andtrue followers in ANY age} thy word, and the world hath HATED them, because they are not OF the world [they'reliving DIfFERENT lives-lives that havebeen CHANGED to conform to the lifeCHRIST led. And remember , He wasaccused of being a WINEBIBBER, and aGLUTTONOUS man!] even as I am notof the world."

He had said earlier, "If the worldHATE you, you know that it hated mebefore it hated you. If you were ofthe world, the world would love itsown: but because you are NOT of theworld, but I have chosen you OUT of

the world, therefore the world HATETHyou!" (John 15:18-19.)

Yes-like it or not-admit it or not-the plain facts of your Bible are thatHATRED will be the lot of anyone whotru ly repents, and strives diligently toLIVE the abundant, happy, joyous lifeJesus Christ makes possib le!

Jesus said, "If I had not come andspoken unto them, they had not hadsin: but now they have no cloke fo rthe ir sin!" (John 15:22.)

The tvay of life of Chri st's trueservants makes others ANGRY ! Becauseit's natural to RESENT God, it's alsonatural to RESENT T HE WAY of Godthe way of LIFE God reveals in H issacred W ord !

And today, as NEVER before, peopleallow themselves to become consumedwith purple-faced , blind, mind- chi lling, vicious RAGE against the tru th ofGod, and aga inst His true servants! Many HATE the wonderf ul laws ofGod .

STRIFE Because of God'sTRUTH!

As shocking as it sounds, Jesus said,"Th ink NOT I am come to send peaceon earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword !"

Jesus meant personal strife-and as adirect result of RELIGIOUS PERSECU·

TION even among the closest of families! But can you imagine what wouldoccur jf a sociologist, or a " liberal"minded and quite "modern" ministerwould hear of a Church wh ich actuallybelieved severe PERSECUTION, yes, evenbetween husband and wife, would comeas a direct result of OBEYING JESUSCHRIST?

What if an enraged, bigote d, narrowminded and PREJUDICED mate decidedto try to FORCE the other to GIVE UPthe very precious tmtb of God's W ord ?

What if he or she threatened DI

VORCE unless Christ's true practicesHis true example-s-were forsaken? What if a mate said, "CHOOSE! It'seither ME, or YOUR RELIGION"?

Why, most people would try to"save the home," instead of continuingto OBEY GOD!

But what did JESUS say? " For I amcome to set a man at variance against

The PLAIN TRUTH

his father, and the daughter against hermoth er, and the daughter in law againsther mother in law. And a man's foesshall be they of his own household! "( Mat . 10 :34-37. )

Does this mean Jesus WANTS homesbroken up by strife and religious persecution?

OF COURSE NOT!Christ doesn 't WANT ANY religious

bigotry-He doesn 't want to see ANYintolerance, bias, pre jud ice, rancor,HATRED in human hearts! BUT H E\\"lLL NEVER COMPRO~ nSE ONE IOTAWITH H IS PRECIOUS TRUTH! And neither will any person who is TRULYconverted, and is t ruly being LED bythe very SPIRIT of God-regardl ess ofthe tr ials and pressures that may cometo bear.

Christ said, through Paul, "If it bepossible, as milch as lietb in )'011, livepeaceably with all men" (Rom. 12:18)."Blessed are the PEACEMAKERS," saidJesus (Mat. 5 :9) .

Paul, inspired of God 's Holy Spirit ,said, " If any brother hath a wife thatbelieveth not , and she be pleased todwell with hint, let him not put heraway !" (I Cor. 7 :12.)

Paul urged NON-believing personsNOT to leave someone who was earnestly trying to overcome his carnal natu re,and to be more like Christ!

He went on to say, "A nd the womanwhich hath an husba nd that believethnot, and if he be pleased to dwell withher, let her not leave him. For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by thewife, and the unbelieving wife issanctified by the husband: else wereyour children unclean; but now theyare holy" ( I Cor. 7:13-1 4 ) .

Paul was str i\'ing to KEEP HOMESINTACT! He was pleading with the Corinthians, even as we plead with peop letoday, NOT to harbor religious intole rance and BIGOTRY in the ir hearts-e-rePROTECT the home, to keep homes, fami lies, brothers and sisters TOGETHERin tolerance, patience and love!

But, as Christ revealed, the carnalmind just CAN'T SEE IT GOD'S WAY!And , as PITIFUL as it may seem, thereare cases when NOTHING the convertedmate can do seems to make any impression on someone whose mind isCLOSED to God's truth!

April, 1965

Thank God, we have known of onlya very few instances where a BELLIGERENT mate has deliberately BROKEN UPA PRECIOUS HOME because of HATINGGod's way_ And , we are convinced, even in these FEW cases, religion wasprobably just an excuse to concealdeeper reasons-and not the REAL causeof the trouble !

Just as Jesus did, and just as didPaul , we preach the Gospel of PEACEto the world. The Gospel of HARMONY,of HAPPINESS, of the way to ABUNDANT living !

But, because human nature is NODIFFERENT today than it was in Jesus'time, and because the natu ral hwnanheart is JUST as antagonistic againstGod's precious TRUTH today as eversome few DO begin to PERSECUTE! Butremember-the Christian never doesthe persecut ing. He only patiently receives it!

IF YOU ARE A CHRISTIAN-Jesussaid you SHALL suffer persecution!(Jo hn 16 :33.)

What About YOUR Private

Life?

What about YOUR heart and mind?Do yOIl "fIy off the handle" easily?Do YOU become ENRAGED at someoneover racial, religious, political issues?Do YOU become so ANGRY, so MAD, soCONSUMED with inflamed passion thatyou would literally resort to VIOLENCE?

iHi//iom do!

And why? The answer is simp le. It'slike a recipe for an evil concoction. Justtake human nature. Sprinkle in a fewsituations, add a lot of entertainmentpressures; such as TV violence, radiojazz and noise; movieland make-believe; newspaper sensationalism; paper~

backed perversity and sex: stir weHand VIOLENCE will erupt!

Solomon wrote, "Surely the chu rning

A New "Fuehrer" forRearmed Germany?

Documented FACTS now reveal that a Nazi revival is immi·nent. Even HITLER, himself, may still be ALIVEI

by Roderick C. Meredith

T H E STAGE is now being set forthe spectacular appearance ofGermany's new " Fuehrer: '

Or will it be the SAME Fuehrer, AdolfHi tler himself, who nearly plunged allcivilization into another Dark Age before he was defeated?

You are living in mom entous times! You need to UNDERSTAND the secret, behind -the-scenes maneuverings of powerfu l political and military forces whichwill soon SHOCK a stunned, disbel ievingworld!

A Vas t Conspiracy

Documented evidence proves thatAdolf Hitler did not die in his Berlinbunker as popularly supposed! Martin Bormann, Hitler's trusted aide andDeputy Fuehrer, is undoubtedly verymuch alive also and is directing-inHitler's name-e-e wo rldwide conspi racyto return the Naz is to power.

Th ere is also proof that Adolf Eichmann's execution only goaded his son,Horst, to p"blicl), HI/ear /0 df'el1ge hisfather and that he is now leading anever more powerful Nazi group inArgentina. This group is only part ofan international Nazi-Fascist conspiracy, well financed by secret Nazi funds, and obviously "protected" by localpolice officia ls in Argentina and elsewhere.

Most important, you need to understand what prophecy says WILL HAP

PEN-and ubat yOIl sbonid do abolitit.

Is Adolf Hitler ALIV E?

A startling admission was recentlymade by a top minister of the WestGerman Government to a reporter for apopular American magazine. He stated :

The West German Government is faced, at the time ofwriting this article, with a momentous decision. Shall it bowto world opinion and extendthe Statute of Limitations onNazi war criminals? Or shall itallow the law ro expire May 8?

Without an extension of thelaw rhousands of diehard N aziscould return to Germany as freemen. Even Hitler himself wouldbe beyond 'he reach of the law.

Officials of the state of Israelhave demanded th at extensionof the law be a condition to accepting West Germany's recentdiplom atic "olive branch"-proposed recognition of Israel. Thenext few crucial weeks may welldetermine the future of Germany, Israel and the world!

"The West German Government is fullyaware that no evidence of Hitler's purported suicide was ever fou nd . .. Andwe have received intelligence reportsfrom diplomatic and intelligencesources that Hitler and top aides, suchas Martin Bormann, are ALIVE andhiding oat in Sostb America." (Emphasis ours th roughout article.)

The dramatic events surrounding thecapture and execution of top Naz i,Adolf Eichmann, a few months ago, focused world attent ion upon the other"big fish" among the Nazis who areknown to have gotten away. Even as hewent to die, Eichmann-perhaps without realizing it-gave admission to thefact that Adolf Hitle r must still beALIVE. For, in his march to the gallowsin the courtyard of Ramla Prison,Eichmann kept bellowing : "Long liveHitler! Long live Germany!"

Many intelligence agents and repor ters state that Hitler's existence is/lOW being' pllblicly ack/lowledged byArgentine Nazis .

In order to calm the public mindand quiet any fears of revived Germanpower, many public officia ls and popular magazines and newspapers haveplayed upon the theory of Hitler'spurported "suicide" in his Berlinbunker at the end of Wo rld W ar II.However, as we will show, there hasNEVE R been any real proof of this. For the military and intelligence experts immediately connected with theinvestigation of his supposed death atthe time are virtually unanimous in admitting that the "suicide theory" iscompletely untbom proof.

Lieutenant General Bedell Smiththe man who headed the Central Intelligence Agency right afte r the Warbluntly stated: "N o human being cansay that Hitler is dead."

In fact, Colonel W . F, Heimlich, former Chief of U. S. Inte lligence inBerlin and the man directly responsiblefor conducting the American investigation of Hitler's suicide, has stated:"There was no evidence beyond that ofhearsay to support the theory of Hitler's suicide."

He reported to American headquarters in 1945: "On the basis of presentevidence, no insurance company inAmerica would pay a death claim onAdolf Hitler,"

As a result, the "Wanted List ofWar Criminals," last issued in 1948,carried the cryptic notice : "Wa nted:Hitler, Adolf, Reichsfuehrer."

W hether or not Hitler has died sincethat time is not, of course, absolutely

certain. But Eichmann's impassionedoutburst. constant reports and rumo rsfrom Nazi groups in Argentina andelsewhere, and evidence of a definiteplan for his escape and preservation allpoint to the fact he may well still healive.

Hitler 's Deputy Fuehrer DirectsWorldwide Conspiracy

On June 12, 1962, newspapersaround the world reported the confession of Angel Alcazar de Velasco thathe helped Martin Bormann, AdolfH itler's Deputy, to escape by submari nefrom Spain to Southern Argentina inMay of 1946. De Velasco told Britishreporters that he last saw Bormann inEcuador in 1958, when the Nazi leader, whose fate has been a mystery and thesubject of controversies since 1945 wasprematurely aged and completely bald.

He repor ted that Bormann had undergone three plastic surgery operations

The PLAIN TRUTH

on his face to change his appearance, had his nose broken and reset, and hischeeks were sunken. De Velasco said :"The last t ime I met him he visitedEurope once a year."

The above indications are supportedin a recent article in no less an autho ritative source than the conservat ive LosAngeles Times in its issue of Sunday,March 21, 1965, in an article by JackBrannan, "Th e Presence of MartinBormann and the existence of a NaziUnderground in Argentina Are Revealed," He describes the existence ofthe "Tacuara- the modern-day counterparts in Argentina of the Nazi stormtroopers of thi rty years ago." The report says that their leader is HorstAdolf Eichmann, twenty-seven, the sonof one of the most infamous of allNazis , SS Colonel Adolf Eichman n.

As in Hitler's Germany of old, members of th is group wear brown shirtsand swastika armbands at their secretmeetings. They claim to be politicalnationalists. But their main activity isterrorizing Jews.

The article acknowledges that theArgentin e police are unwilling to makea real crackdow n on the T acuara. Thiswould prove embar rassing to manyhigh government and mil itary officia lswho have strong Nazi and Fascist sympathies dating back to the early 1930·s.The sont of these ver)' officials- itis stated-form the leadership of theT acuara !

Other Tacuara members are known tobe related to German Nazis who operated in Argentina when the Third Reichwas at its height of power. Some, like Eichmann, are the "ery sons ofNazis who took refuge in Argentinawhen the Reich began to crumble.

This article acknowledges the factthat during the summer of 1945, afterthe war in Europe had ended, twoNazi U-boats quiet ly put ashore inArgent ina. Persistent rumors stilI insistthat Martin Bormann, Hi tler' s lastDeputy and hand-picked successor cameto Argenti na on one of the subma rinesand is still there. The same is said ofDr. Josef Mengele, forme r Chief Physician and "mad docto r" at the Auschwitz Concentration Camp in Poland .

Interestingly, the Tacuara Movementwas organized in 1955 by a Catho lic

April, 1965

Priest, Julio Meinvielle. Like the Nazisof old, its members have claimed thatthei r anti-Semitic actions were 10 thenational interest.

A large public demonstration of theNazi T acuara took place on June 20,1963, when approximately two hun dred brown-shirts attended a CatholicMass, then marched from the church toa street rally. They raised their rightarms repeatedly in the Nazi salute andchanted anti-Semitic slogans.

Nazis Throughout SouthAmerica

Recent headl ine news is perhaps evenmore ominous than the revelation thatBormann, Mengele and Eichmann areall living comfo rtab ly-under government protection-and operat ing in theNaz i Underground in Argentina. Thisis the fact that the political party ofJuan Peron was given the largest number of votes of an)' part), in recentArgentine elections!

For Juan Peron, you may remember ,was an avowed Na zi sympathizer whoactually marched into conquered Pariswith Adolf Hitl er in 1943! It is a wellknown fact that at least [our hundredmillion dollars of Nazi funds wereferreted to Argentina before the collapse of the Nazi regime. These fund swere for the purpose of financing highranking Naz i leaders who planned toescape there, and of making possiblethe Nazi comeback when the time became right.

Juan Peron's recent dramatic attemptto re-enter Argent ina was undoubtedlya spark to the Nazi revival there!

It seems on ly a matte r of time unt ilhis followe rs once again attain po'9.'erin Argentina, which was Nazi Germany's closest friend in the WesternHemisphere du ring W orld Wa r II .W ith such a large and powerful basefrom which to operate openly, theworldwide Nazi conspiracy would thenbe years closer to its goal of takingover, once again, a rearmed, re-N azifiedGerma'l)'.r

To und erstand the full scope of th isconspiracy, it is important to und erstand, also, that not only in Argentina, but in Uruguay, Paraguay, Brazil, Bolivia, Chi le, and other South American

The Truth Aboutthe Viet Nam Crisis!

Buddhists are defiantly militant! Viet Cong guerilla raidsdemolished U. S. installations. U.S. -backed and equippedSouth Vietnamese retaliated by attack ing North Viet Nom.The United States is committed to a showdown with Communism in Viet Nom. What will be the outcome? This firsthand report on the mounting crisis in Southeast Asia reveals

the answer!

Saigon, South Viet N am

T HE world today is sitting on apowder keg. Not since theCuban crisis has all-out war been

more imminent.Viet Nam threatens to explode. A

new crisis is brewing in the MiddleEast.

Few understand the significance ofthe war in Viet Nom. Or what theBible reveals about it.

Just how and why did the UnitedStates get so hopelessly involved inthis small Southeast Asian country?

First-Hand Repo rt

Just what will be the final outcomeof this crazy dilemma?

by C. Wayne Cole

To report first-hand to our readers,Mr. Don Abraham, of The P LAIN

TRUTH staff in Australia, and I flewinto South Viet Nam. We were impressed, surprised and stunned by whatwe saw.

An official in The United StatesInformation Service in Saigon admittedto us that national apathy of the people-an attitude of unconcern by themasses for the crisis within theircountry - plus a total failure, sinceDiem's overthrow, to establish a stablecivil government, are the real internalenemies in South Viet Nam.

Mr. Abraham and I talked to manypeople-c-English-speaking guides, shop-

keepers and the average man in thestreet. We were overwhelmingly impressed by the ignorance and indifference of the people.

It was shocking to realize that hereis a country at war-that has been atwar for the better part of the pasttwenty-five years-a country that nowstands in the last throes of i losingbattle with Communism-and yet theaverage person here in Saigon justshrugs his shoulders. When asked aserious question about his battle withCommunism and about his country'sfuture, he couldn't care less!

To help our readers grasp the present developments of today's news, we

need to understand the little-knownbackground of South Viet Nam.

Viet Nam has been called a "lotusland"-casual, slothful, dreamy landof relative ease. By natural appearances it is an idyllic, amiable littlecountry-pleased to live at peace withits neighbors and produce its abundantquantities of rice (among other products) with little concern for the restof the world .

But 'World War II changed all that.First the Japanese overran SoutheastAsia. Now Red China threatens fromthe north ! North and South Viet Namhave become a terror-ridden background In this era's great globalstruggl e.

But this is not the first time VietNam has feared the Chinese Dragon .Viet N am was settled before the Chr istian era by peoples known as Vietsimmig rating from central China. Theentire area was soon dominated byChina.

This servitude lasted until nearly1,000 A.D. Th ereafter Viet Nam became a vassal state to China for manymore years.

In the days of the great colonialpowers, the French and Portuguesecame to the Southeast Asian mainlandlate in the 16th century. Late in the19th century Viet Nam accepted aFrench protectorate. She was the largest and most populous of the FrenchIndo-Chinese Associated States.

Viet Nam extends south in a gentlecurve or arc-bounded to the east andsouth by the South China Sea-to thesouthernmost tip of the Chinese world,in the Indo-Chinese peninsula.

Coming to modern history-duringthe World War II occupation by Japan,an Independence League called theViel Minb was formed, headed byCommuni st guerilla leader He-Chi Minh .

In September, 1945, the Viet NamRepublic with Ho-Chi-Minh as itsNationalist President, declared its independence. France recogn ized VietNam as a free state within the IndoChinese Federation and the FrenchUnion in March, 1946. But fightingbetween the French and Vietnamesefo rces continued over the Asian desirefor a greater measure of independence,

The PLAIN TRUTH

and the extension of Viet Nam authority over the remainder of FrenchIndo-China (Laos and Cambodia).

In March, 1949, an agreement wassigned between France and the nonCommunist Viet Nam nationalists, under Bao-Dai, the former Emperor ofAnnam. The agreement recogn ized theindependence of Viet Nam within theFrench Union. Und er this agreementBao-Dai became Chief of State.

Armed conflict between the Frenchbacked Bao-Dai Government and theMoscow-Peking supported Viet-Minhregime under He-Chi-Minh continued. In early 1950, Russia and CommunistChina recognized the Viet-Minh regime, while the United States andBritain recognized the Bao-Dai government.

The confl ict between the French andCommunist forces culminated in theoverwhelming defeat of the Frenchforces at Dienbienphu in May, 1954.After the hum iliating defeat, and thecomplete failure of France to keep allViet N am within the sphere of Westerninfluence, a cease-f ire accord was signedat Geneva on July 21, 1954. Underthis agreement, Viet Nam was partit ioned at the 17th parallel. A Communist North Viet Nam was established with the Communist leader HoChi-Minh as president and Hanoi asits capital city. A South Viet Nam ,with its capital at Saigon, remained"free," An interim government wasestablished in the south, with the understanding that a plebiscite was tobe held later (i n 1956) for the pur pose of re-unifi cation of North andSouth Viet Nam.

Troubles Only Begin

This brings us to the beginning ofthe present confl ict.

The Communists immediately broketheir agreement. The same troubles thathad prevailed during the previous ninewar-torn years were to continue in astriking parallel in South Viet Nam .

Here is what happened .In a referendum held in October,

1955, the absentee Emperor, Bao-Dai,was deposed. South Viet N am wasestablished as a republ ic with NgoDinh D iem-a staunch Roman Catholic-as its f irst President.

April, 1965

Little hope was held for the survival of Diem's government, or for theentire republic of South Viet N am,(Catholics represent only about 10percent of the population. Buddhistspredominate.) But, contrary to thewidely held popular opinion, D iemand his government did survive. Thecountry seemed to actually flourish, maintaining a militantly anti-Communist policy.

Under cover of the Geneva Agreement of 1954-Communist guerillawar in the southern Republic commenced. With Diem's strongly established anti-Communist government, thewar intensifi ed-not a civil war of allViet N am but a civil war in SouthViet Nam. ( Remember, the Communists now controlled North Viet Namas per the negotiations at Geneva .)

In 1955, the Unit ed States becameinvolved in the South Viet Nam crisis.Economic and milit ary aid was givento the country. So far, more than $3billion have been given or loaned toSouth Viet Nam. American casualtiesnow number about 1200 in a war inwhich U. S, mili tary personnel haveheretofore been supposed to be invclved in an advisory capacity only !

In 1956, when the elections to reunify the two Viet Nams were to beheld, Diem rejected them, giving forhis reasons that they were terms of theGeneva Agreement which had beensigned by the French and not by hisgovernment. In this way D iem had timeto furth er establish himself as theleader of South Viet N am.

Despite the religious handicap ,Diem gained strength. He became, infact, a dictator with a puppet-Parliament in a supposed republic.

Diem managed to hold power inSouth Viet Nam for nearly eight years. In November, 1960, there was an unsuccessful attempt to overthrow hisgovernment. It was not until late; in1963, in a blazing, stormy revolut ionwhich turned the streets of Saigonthe Paris of the Orient- into a smokingbattlefield, that Diem's downfall finally came. On November 2, the revolutionary fo rces achieved victory. A provisional government was recognized bythe U. S. and the U. K. on No -

vember 8. At the time of this writingthere have been eight more coups (overthrows of governments) since.

Why W orld Interestin Viet N am

"But," we may well ask, "why allthis interest in South Viet Nam?" Isthis one country, small in size andpopulated by not many mote than NewYork City, worth the vast aid pouredinto it i- plus the staggering deathtoll thus far suffe red in the war?

Th e answer to this question specifically is "NO !" But, it is not SouthViet Nam that is at stake! It is allSoutheast Asia. That's why South VietNam is important! Th e U . S. knows it.So do the Reds.

Red China's interest is two-fo ld.China knows South V iet Nam is oneof the few Asian lands that producesmore rice than it consumes. The fertile, broad plains exte nding down thelong coastline g ive the country a prosperous agrarian economy . Th e Communists, primarily in China, are facedwith a continuing over-populationproblem coupled with hunger andstarvation due to insufficient production. South Viet Nam is a prize target.Communist Red China is out 10 gel it!

But. this is not now the chief reasonwhy South Viet Nam is so important!

Red China also knows United Statesinfluence. powe r and prestige are atstake. It would delight the world ofCommunism beyond wo rds for theUnited States to fail-to utterly andhopelessly collapse-in its attempts tofulfill its commitments in Asia . . .specifically in this present "test" ofSouth Viet Nam!

The United States has frequentlystated during the past that it will keepits treaties, it will not fail in its missionto keep the "free" nations free. Now,the world stands and watches! CanU . S. treaties, pacts and internationalagreements be trusted? This is theserious question now in South VietNam !

No Victory in Sight

The United States is committed notto win in Viet N am!

One of the most necessary ingredi ents for any kind of a victory is

The PLAIN TRUTH

lacking in this conflict-that of thedetermination to win! The late GeneralDouglas MacArthur once stated thatunless a nation entered into a battlewith victory as its goal, it was defeated before it started.

He was right !Make no mistake about it-the U. S.

and the other nations invo lved in support of South Viet N am would like towin! But they are afraid to take theaction necessary to win!

Let's understand. Th e only way goalsare achieved. races won or conquestmade, is by taking the offensive. Usingfo r a momen t the example of a fine.well-trained basketball team- let's suppose th is team plays an absolutelyfaultless defensive game but completelyand utterly fails or refuses to take theoffense. The very best such a team canhope for in the final t .utcome is a nopoint tie-a stalemate.

So it is in the Viet Nam crisis ! Towin this war, the South Vietnamese, backed with military aid from the U. S.and other nations, must determine towin. They must hurl the war-machineat the enemy-going all the way to itsheart and its supply bases, whetherthey be in Hanoi or Peking- in a concerted dr ive, pounding through to victory!

But, with the horrifying atomic andhydrogen weapons. with missiles andanti-miss ile missiles , the possible provoking of World W ar III is unthinkable to the U. S. and the Western democracies. To expand the Viet Nam warfu lly is the only way victory would .becertain. But -the Un ited States is fearfulof the label "war-monger," fearful ofrisking total war with Communism.

So, in a bid to stem the tide ofcommunism, we see limited jabs intoNorth Viet N am, and a "conventional"guerilla war being fought in South VietNam .

What Bible Prophecy Reveals

Almight}' God shows in Bibleprophecy that World W ar will not startin Asia as a war betwee n the freewo rld and communism ! And would notstart there even if the South V iet N amwar were expanded to bring victory!

But, tragically, God's inspired wordis not believed today. Leaders in Wash-

April, 1965

ington, Saigon, London or Canberrastruggle on as they think best, totallyoblivious to the fantastic, yet absolutelyaccurate, information about today'sworld affairs, revealed by the God whocreated humanity ! But more of thislater.

Viet N am's Internal Strugglefor Power

Hidden behind the scenes in SouthViet N am today is a continuous strugg le fo r power between a number ofdominant groups. Th e most prominentis the militant Buddhi st sect currentlycreating havoc in Saigon.

Th is sect has been one of the movin gfactors behind all the recent coups inV iet Nam. It was the prime mover behind Diem's downfal l.

This "non-political" political body isguided by "exiles" who came fromCommunist-controlled N orth Viet Nam!(The Economist, January 16.) Thishelps explain their decidedly strangebehaviour in contributing to the atmosphere of political instability inSouth Viet N am, at a time when po litical stability is of absolute necessity,

Negotiated Settlement Imminent

Just as France was worn down andfina lly defeated at Dienbienphu in1954, forcing a negotiated settlementto the war, so is Commun ism wearingdown the Western powers, chiefly theU. S. In the present guerilla war, theReds are aiming for an ultimate U . S.withdrawal, a negotiated agreement anda fi nal Communist take-over.

Th e United States and in general thewestern peoples cannot psychologicallysustain the same kind of war theAsians can. If war does not "progress,"changing its "face" rather quickly, aW esterner tends to become disinterested in it, grow stale toward it andeither change his strategy to effect avictory or else fi nd a way to withdrawfrom it. Th e American public en massewill not maintain support for a warthat "goes nowhe re and takes forever toget there" !

Ho Chi Minh, President of North Viet Nom.He also has one goal-to defeat the "imperialist enemy."

Why Viet Cong Wins •In Viet Nom

Viet Cong has better morale, has leaders who takethe offensive, has troops fighting to demoralize theenemy. The United States fights only defensive war.As a result, South Vietnamese are gradually beingbeaten.

Why United States CannotWin V'ET ~AM War!

South Vietnamese government is a shambles. Riots flare continually. The people are tired of a war which has raged for years. Saigon, thecapital, is oblivious to impending national disaster. Troops lack morale-even though they have superior forces and armaments. Poverty andignorance are rampant.

The United States fails to cope with such liabilities, fights only " limitedwar." Accompanying article is an on-the-spot report by our PLAINTRUTH correspondent for Southeast Asia .

know that if they can continue theirguerilla attacks, thei r hit- and- run tacotics, going long enough and just hardenough to perpetuate the war, they canin time force a negotiated settlement. They of course ace at the same timerisking all-out war which they don 'twant. But they are betting this won'thappen in South Viet Nam. The wayCommunism works is to make her offensives in small bites in the hope ofavoiding all-out war. The Reds keepgoing, one "small" conquest after another, proceeding toward the goal ofworld dominion.

President Johnson has officially statedthat U. S. policy does not, now, allownegotiatio n over South Viet Nam. Butthere is growing demanding pressurefrom almost all sides toward a conference-table cease-f ire !

France, in another of her acts ofstabbing . Uncle-Sam diplomacy, hasagreed to co-operate with Russiain pressing for a conference-table settlement to the Viet N am crisis.

United Nations Secretary-General UThant has openly appealed for a negotiated settlement . He said that bydoing this, the U. S. could then withdraw gracefully from South Viet Nam.

British Prime Minister Harold Wil·son said he hoped Britain could playan effective part in reaching a peacefulsettlement.

In a surprising move, the increasingly political Pope of the RomanCatholic Church-Pope Paul VI-hasissued a strong appeal to all countriesinvolved to seek a quick and peacefulsettlement in South Viet Nam.

All this pressure is bound to have itseffect. Already unoff icial reports revealthat the U. S. is maneuvering to getinto a better bargaining position- witha greater show of retaliatory strength. Why? To prepare the way to the conference room with the hope fo r anhonourable way out of this dilemma.

What Does God Say?

The further we look into the VietN am crisis, the more hopeless it appears. "But," you may well ask, "whatis the solution?" The frank and startling answer to that question is thatthere is N O man-made solution.'

Over 600 years before the Christian

The PLAIN TRUTH

era, the prophet Jeremiah, inspired byAlmighty God, wrote: "a Lord, I knowthat the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh todirect his steps" (jer. 10 :23).

How prophetic these words are today ! Tragically, man is not yet readyto humble himself and ack-nowledge hisblind, stumbling, ignorance, his needfo r God's direction. On every hand weare seeing humanly devised societiesand civilization crumbling . But theworld won 't heed !

The more man learns about medicalscience, the more illness , disease, andincurable ailments we have. The higherthe educational standard, the moremental confusion, frustration, immorality, insanity and suicide we see.The harder we seek peace, the more warand rumour of war the world knows. In every way and on every hand theways of man are backfiring !

As Jeremiah wrote, man does notknow how to direct his steps. But thetragedy is that man refuses to admitthat he doesn't know the right way togo and how to solve his problems.

Mili tary leaders, statesmen, diplomats. presidents and even religiousleaders, are desperately trying to solvethe Viet N am dilemma. But, they cannot solve it. They refuse to acknowledge God and seek the solution Hisway.

The One who knows man as noother can-the Creator God who mademan, gave him life and intelligencedeclared through Isaiah the prophetthat all who rut themselves off fromHim by going their own rebelliousways, transgressing God's perfect, divinely inspired laws, cannot know theway to peace! (Read Isaiah 59: I -8.)

Wh y? Because God is the source ofpeace! And those rut off from thatsource cannot find peace!

God says of such people that theirgoings, their actions and decisions "arevoid of judgment" .. . that they havelaunched upon crooked paths, deviouspolicies which do not lead to peace!

How true this is in Viet N am. Thecourse of action being pursued is acrooked path-it rambles and wanders, goi ng nowhere. It will not lead to apeaceful solution benef icial to theUnited States' and the free world 's

interests and safety ! God has decreedit so!

Will Peace Come?

The greatest news you could everhear in this "sick and dying" world isthe news of the imminent and certainreturn of Jesus Christ!

In the famous Olivet Prophery ofMatthew 24, Jesus Christ said (verse22): "Except those days [ the days wenow live in] be shortened, there shouldno flesh be saved [ alive] : but for theelect's sake those days shall be shortened."

Except Jesus Christ personally intervenes to stop the hellish, insane, warring of man, all human life will beremoved from the earth. Man wouldcommit genocide.

How is this divi ne intervention tocome ? By the literal, actual coming ofJesus Christ to this earth ! In just afew more years, Christ is going to comeas King of kings and Lord of lords(I Tim. 6 :14·15) . But, the scoff erswill say-as the Apostle Peter warnedin II Peter 3:3 ·4- "Where is thepromise of His coming ?" Well, the promise was actually made byChr ist Himself in John 14: 3- read it :"And if I go and prepare a place foryou, I will come again . . . I"

Yes, Jesus Christ, the Saviour ofhumanity, Prince of Peace, said He wasgoing to return to this earth. And Hemeant it. When He does come, He isgoing to set up W orld Government !

For the first time we are then go ingto actually see peoples learn to live to·gether in peace and happiness . Therewon't be any guerilla wars allowed!Notice what God says is then going tohappen to war! It is found in Micah4 :1,3 . God's Kingdom-the worldgovernment of Jesus Christ-will be established above all nations. God says, through Micah, that, at that time,"nation shall not lift up sword againstnation, neither shall they learn war anymore."

Thi s and this alone is the onlysolution to the Viet Nam crisis, theCongo massacre, the internal, moral decay of our nations, plus the host ofother ills of today's world !

God speed this happy, peacefulworld tomorrow !

Churchill's Dream-

A "United States of Europe"As early as 1946, Sir Winston Churchill envisioned a "UnitedStates of Europe " which would include Britain. But with allhis foresight, he could not forsee that Britain would be excluded from this union. That this Frankenstein Monste r-paid

for by American dollars-would destroy its creators!

by Raymon d F. McNair

Wid. w~'d Phokl

Sir Winston Churchill was a very devoted family man. He attributed much ofhis success to the steadfast assistance of his remarkable wife, Clementine. Here she gives her personal congratulations on a political victory.

O FT EN dur ing his lifetime, Mr.Churchill had a feeling of destiny-that Almigh ty God was

working out a special pur pose in hislife .

In Britain's crisis hour, when he became Prime Minister, he said : " I felt asif I were walking with Destiny. . . ."He announced before the U. S. Congress what few wanted to hear-thatGod was working out a great purposehere below on earth !

Out of Deeth's Jaws

In the trenches in 1916, Church illwas summoned from his dugout tomeet the Corps Commander. Later thesame day he learned that his dugouthad been blown up only five minutesafter he had left it ! The sole occupant's head had been blown off .

Churchill, when writing of this at alater date, said : "There came a strongsensation that a hand had beenstretched out 10 me in the nick oftime [rom a [atal spot."

His later narrow escapes from deathon the battlefields only served tostrengthen his belief that he was destined to play an important part in theaffair s of men.

lust who was this man who rendezvoused with destiny ?

A "Many-sided Genius"

Churchill has been called "a manysided genius." He was an outstandingwriter, often writing over a millionwords a year. As a young man, he wasthe second highest paid writer in Brit-

ain.-earning £35,000 a year-secondonly to George Bernard Shaw. Churchillwas also a politician, a statesman, anorator, soldier, brick.laJer, painter, sportsman and, above all, a familyman-with intense Jove and devotionto his wife, his children, h is home.He was a very happ y man both in hishome life and in his many accornplishments.

He had an indom itable spirit, abulldog determination . He was theepitome of "John Bull."

Great Men to Vanish?

Long ago God warned ( Isa. 3:1-3)that the time would come when Hewould take awa)' our great leaders" the mighty man and the man of war,the judge, and the prophet, and theprud ent, and the ancient, the captain offift y, and the honourable mall, and thecounsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator."

Thi s is a prophecy for today! Fortwentieth century America and Britain! It is addressed to the House of Israel

and to Jerusalem- to Britain and America and to the Jews in Palestine. OUfnational identity is made plain in anastound ing free booklet The UnitedStates and the British Commonwealthin Prophecy. Read it.

Yes, millenniums ago God's W ordcame to our ancestors. It foretold thatHe would take away-in this twentiethcentury-at the close of man's civiliaation-our mighty men, our generals, our wise judges, and counsellors, andthe eloquent orators. Certainly SirWin ston Churchill , at 90, was "ancient:' In h is heyday he had been amighty man of Britain, a man of war, aprudent, honourable man, a counsellorand an eloquent orator. His wise counsel often went unheeded, though seldom unheard. He was Britain's lastgreat man. Th at prophecy stands fulfilled.

Israel-Like a Lion

A remarkable prophecy in the ythchapter of Micah reveals the destiny ofthe peoples of America, Britain and theother democracies of Nort hwest Europe. In the day when Israel was to belike a lion, she would also lose herleonine power-and meet sudden humiliating defeat. Notice this astoundingprophecy:

"And the remnant of Jacob [orIsrael] shall be among the Gentilesin the midst of many people as a Iionamong the beasts of the forest, as ayoung lion among the flocks of sheep:who, if he go through, both treadethdown, and teareth in pieces, and nonecan deliver. Thi ne hand shall be liftedup upon thine adversaries, and all thineenemies shall be cut off. And it shallcome to pass in that dai'-that's thisvery decade immediately ahead of us"saith the Lord, that I /ViII . . . est offthe cities of thy land, and throw dow nall thy strong holds" (verses s- t i ).

Verses Sand 6 contain another remarkable prophecy for our day. Theyspeak of the Assyrian (meaning themodern-day Germans) who will ultimately come "into our land" and"within our borders,"-this time asvictors in world war!

Isaiah 10:5-7, shows that God Almighty will use the "Assyrian" as therod of His anger-to punish our pea·pIe-Israel-for their sins against Him.

The PLAIN TRUTH

Th ese Assyrians will "tread them [ Israel] down like the mire of the streets."

God says He will cause witchcraft tocease and that the images which weworship will be destroyed (Micah 5: 12)". .. so will I destroy thy cities. AndI will execute vengeance in anger andfury upon the heathen, such as theyhave not heard" (ve rses 14 and 15) _

Jeremiah 30, Ezekiel 5 and manyother prophecies make this very clear.Of course, if our peoples turn fromtheir wickedness, then God will not letsuch a terrible calamity befall them. But there are no signs which indicatethat the peoples of America, Britainand the rest of modern Israel will repent of their lies, sexual deviations, murders and endless other sins.

In Micah S, verse 8, we noticed that,in the last days, the people of Jacob, orIsrael, would be as a young lion, having power over all their enemies. Thi shas certainly been ful filled by modernAmerica and Britain. No other nationor combination of nations could defeatus as long as we stood together.

It is sign ificant that, here in Britain, the lion figures so prominently in muchof the private and governmental heraldry-seals, coats of arms, etc. EvenChurchill spoke of the British Commonwealth of Nat ions as having lionlike qualities. He said, "I have neveraccepted what many people have kindly

April, 1965

said-namely that I inspired the nation.. . . It was the nation and the racedwelling all around the globe that hadthe lion's heart. I had the luck to becalled upon to give the roar,"

And roar he did! This lion-hearted Briton was held in

high esteem--even by his enemies.Even Cairo's daily newspape r AI Akhbar said that Churchill "inju red usseveral times and our wounds are stillbleeding, but we admit that he was agreat foe and a hero."

Defender of the British Empire

Churchill always stoutly defendedthe Empire. He refused to have anything to do with its dismantl ing. Headamant ly refused to g rant India herindependence. Even so, India's Leftistweekly Blitz spoke of the wartimePrime Minister Churchill as /Iour finestenemy ." It added: "Churchill was perhaps the LAST of a race of giants in aworld of shrinking leadership."

After accepting the leadership of theConservative Party in October, 1940,Churchill said: ..] have always faithfully served two public causes which,I think, stand supreme-the maintenance of the enduring greatness of Britain and her Empire, and the historicalcontinuity of our island life."

Britain's Prime Mini ster was onceoutraged by Mr . Franklin Roosevelt's

suggestion that Hongkong and other ofBritain's Crown Colonies should be returned to their original owners-afterthe war. In answer, Churchill retorted:"I did not hecome the King's firstminister to preside over the liquidationof the British Empire."

Churchill 's convictions concerningthe Empire were formed in early life." He had heen named Colonial Secretaryin 1921, a post that was to enhanceand embolden his convictions on theultimate benefits of Britain's ColonialEmpire, and of its rule and order"(N ewsweek , February 1, 1965) .

Th e real disintegration of the BritishEmpi re hegan under the Labour Government immediately after World W arII. In the midst of the Potsdam Conferen ce in Ju ly, 1945, the Brit ish electorate turn ed Churchill out of office. It voted Mr . Clement Atlee andhis Labour Government into office.Churchill was stunned! "My wife saidto me, 'Never mind , perhaps it was ablessing in disguis e.' II Churchill replied: "Th at may be, but if so it isvery well disguised, indeed."

Wounded by defeat, Churchi ll settIed into a new job-as leader of HisMajesty's Loyal Opposition . Tirelesslycastigating weI/are-statism as "strengththrough misery," he demanded: "W hatis the use of being a famous race andnation if at the end of the week youcannot pay your housekeeping bilL"

He was a devastating critic of theSocialist ministers who were busily dismant ling the Empire and dampinggloomy austerity on the land . Hispointed criticisms of Labour ministersrevealed his attitu de, as the followingquips regarding various Labour ministers show: Prime Minister Allee ( "amodest man, and I know no one withmore to he modest about"), Chancellorof the Exchequer, Sir Stafford Cripps("There, but for the grace of God,goes God" ), Health Min ister, A neurinBevan ("Minister of Di sease") .

But in spite of Sir Winston Churchill's innate capacity and natural abilities, his experience, his wisdom, hisleadership qualities-he was unable tosave the Empire. He spent his youngerdays fighting, literally, for the Empireon far -flung battlefields in India, Afr ica, Cuba and on the Continent in

President Franklin D. Roosevelt outraged Mr. Churchill by suggestingthat Britain give up some of herCrown Colonies.

World W ar I. He helped to preventHitler from destroying Britain and herEmpir e during World War II . Ironica lly, he spent most of his post-World .War-II years in the government, fighting to keep the Empire from beinggire n away by well -meaning but misguid ed fellow Britons. Unfortunately, and to his utter dismay, the Empire, which he had as a young man bravelyfought for, evaporated before his owneyes-several years before his death!

50 Years to Revive Germany?

But in spite of Churchill's tremendous capacity, his leadership and hisfar-sightedness as a world statesman, hecould not either foresee or preoentsome of the sinister forces that were tochange the face of the world so drastically during his lifetime.

At the conclusion of W orl d W ar II ,Germany lay prostrate-in smoulderingruins ! Sir Winston Churchill is reported to have said that it would takeGermany at least 50 years to get backon her feet. He was wrong ! Ten yearsafter Germany was totally destroyed, shehad become a bustling, pulsating nation. Long before Sir W inston Churchill died, he lived to see the dayGermany became the most prosperous, most dynamic nation in Europe-witheven greater mil itary strength (at leastby conventional standards) than Britain herself.

19

Before W orld War I, Sir Wi nstonChurchill had seen the danger of amilitant Germany and had sounded thealarm. Th is he also did long before theoutbreak of World W ar II. Most of hisbitter warnings went unheeded until itwas almost too late. But Churchill hasnow vanished from the world scene. He is not here to scan the world sceneand warn the peoples of Britain andAmerica that a re-rnilitarized Germanywith a Uni ted Europe will once againbring war to our shores-World WarIII- horrifying nuclear war!

A U ni ted Europe

Church ill had hoped and dreamedthat Europe would some day he united. But he wanted Britain to he includedin that union . "His hope of a realisticdetente, like his vision of British membership and an INTEGRATED Europe.was left to others to pursue" (Time,January 29, 1965) .

"The vision was there when thesmoke of W orld War II lifted. Asearly as 1946, Churchill gave it breathin summon ing the Old World to makea kind of United States of Europe"(Time, December 18, 1964) .

In spite of Mr. Churchill 's farsightedness, he could not see farenough into the future to visualize theoutcome of a Uni ted States of Europe .He did not know from Bible prophecythat it would be comprised of tennations, dominated politically by aRoman-Fascist-like system and relig iously by a great universal, militant church. He could not foresee that this greatpolitico-relig io-economic power bloc often nations not only would refuseBritain membership, but would ultimately prove the undoing of theAnglo-Saxon people of America, Britain and the Commonwealth countries.

In February, 1963, the door to Britain's entry into the Common Marketand ultimately into a United States ofEurope-was slammed in her face byCharles de Gaulle. It hecame dear thatBritain was not wanted- at least not byall of the members of the CommonMarket. D e Gaulle wants France to dominate any European union. He doesn 'twant either America or Britain to havetoo important a role in the affa irs of

THE BIBLE ANSWERS

"Recently the Vatican Councilabsolved the Jews of the soleresponsibility for Christ' s crucifixi on. If the Jews aren't exclusively guilty of His death-whois?"

L. B., Kansas

Your Bible makes plain who bearsthe guilt for the murder of Jesus!

God provided three eye-wit nesses torecord the death of His Son. Notice theGospel record-the only source of information available:

After Jesus was betrayed, captured inthe garden, and interrogated-after Hewas mocked, beaten, and held captivethrough the night-the Jews illegallybrought Him before the Sanhedrin.Jesus' trial before them was fraudulent lyconducted, Here is what transpired:

"Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;but found none" (Mat. 26:59-60) .

To understand fully why the trialand the crucifixion of Jesus were illegal, you need the eye-opening article,"Twelve Reasons Why Christ's TrialWas Illegal." It will surprise you! There is not space to explain it in detail here.

To continue:"When the morning was come, all

the chief priests and elders of the peo·pIe took counsel against Jesus to puthim to death: and when they hadbound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor" (Mat. 27:1-2) .

The PLAIN TRUTH

FROM OUR READERS

Rome was an Empire ruled by fear.Roman governors were not fundarnentally concerned with justice, but withexpediency. Any troublemaker wasquickly dealt with. Rome was carelesswith human life. If someone must dieto appease the people and maintainorder, he was executed-guilty or not.

Pilate first thought he would releaseJesus.

But the Jews had done their workwell. They knew Pilate could not afford an uprising. So they stirred upthe rabble. When they encouragedmob violence, Pilate weakened (John19:12-16) . He thought he had nochoice but to convict and execute Jesus.

Pilate, of course, knew the Jews werejealous of Christ and wanted Him outof the way (Mat. 27:18) . But out offear he delivered Jesus to his soldiersfor scourging-and for crucifixion.

Wh o then was guilty?

Was it solely the Jews-blind withjealousy, hypocrisy, hatred ? Was it Pilate - who vacillated and condemnedJesus for political expediency? Was itthe Roman legionnaire who nailed Himto the cross? Or was it the soldier whocruelly ended Jesus' life with a spearthrust?

Whom does God Almighty holdguilty of the murder of Christ?

The apostle Peter, who himselfdenied Christ three times, reveals Hismurderers! Read it in the book ofActs.

On the day of Pentecost Peter spoke

23

to thousands who had gathered inJerusalem from all over the world. Many in this audience had never seenJesus Christ. Many had only heard ofHim. Certainly only a very few had apart in His trial and crucifixion. Butnotice what Peter told them:

"Ye men of Israel, hear these words;Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved ofGod among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by Himin the midst of you, as ye yourselvesalso know: Him being delivered bythe determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and bywicked hands have crllcified and slain"(Acts 2:22-24).

Had all this multitude---by their veryown hands - crucified Jesus Christ? No! Vet God held them all guiltyeven those who were not in Jerusalemwhen Christ died!

Why?Because of their sins - because of

),our sins! The sins of all mankind, not just of the Roman soldiers, wereresponsible for driving the nails intoChrist's flesh.

If no man had ever sinned, JesusChrist would not have died. It wasyour sin which brought Jesus into theworld to die! God is responsible forsending Christ into the world to forgive sin-to voluntarily pay the penaltyof sin by giving His life as a ransomfor all.

Your Bible says: "All have sinnedand come short of the glory of God "(Rom. 3:23) . Christ died for us alIin our stead. Therefore we all arejust as guilty of His death as werethose Jews, and Pilate and the Romansoldiers who had direct part in thecrucifixion.

The primary guilt of the Jews, ofPilate, of the Roman soldiers was nottheir part in the trial and crucifixionof Jesus. Their major guilt was theirlife of sin, which brought Jesus into theworld to die for them. Pilate wouldhave been guilty had he never beengovernor. His cowardly act made himdoubly guilty. The Jews would havebeen guilty even if they had refusedto be a part of mob violence. Theirdeeds in 31 A.D. made them doublyguilty. The Roman soldiers who cruci-

move EVERY month! We happily receive their new addresses-but that is not enough! We also need the OLD ADDRESSES!

Here is the reason .The United States Post Office requires us to have our files arranged

in order by city and state-that is, in ZIP code order and NOT alpha.betically by name. We have hundreds of thousands of subscribers. If youwrite us giving your new address only, we have no way of knowing inwhat city or state you lived before. Your old address card-listed underZIP code number-remains in the files.

When the PLAIN TRUTH magazine is mailed, TWO copies aresent to you-one to your old address as well as one to your new address. It becomes a real problem and seriously slows down our filing operationif we have to spend hours to search the files for old addresses . It is almostimpossible to find the old address if the person has moved to a differenttown. That is the reason it is so very important for everyone to send usthe OLD address - exactly as it appears on the address label of yourPLAIN TRUTH-as well as the new address. fied Jesus would have been guilty evenif they had been stationed with theRoman legion in England at the timeof the crucifixion !

You need to realize that if you hadlived in 'Palestine in 31 A.D., )'Oft

just like the disciples - would havedenied Jesus Christ! Or you would havebeen in the howling mob demandingHis innocent blood ! Or yolt wouldhave been willing to plunge your spearinto His side !

You can't wash )Iour hands of partin Christ's death any more than Pontius Pilate could.

God Almighty HOLDSYO U GUILTY!He commands you to REPENT ! Unlessyou submit to Him as your Masterthe One who has the right to tell youwhat to do and how to live-Jesus said,"You W ILL ALL LIKEW ISE PERISH ,"

Remember how the Jews suffered fortheir part in Christ's death when theRoman armies besieged Jerusalem in70 A.D . ?

You need to write immediately forthe article: "What Is REAL Repentance?"

"What did Jesus mean whenHe said, 'THIS GENERATIONshall not pass, till all these thingsbe fulfilled' ? Was He referringto His own generation - or toours?"

Jesus was not speaking of His ownday and age. He was answering Hisdisciples who asked about these lastdays of human history- this twentiethcentury ! They had asked Jesus:". . . what shall be the siJ:1I of THYCOMING, and of the EN D of the world?"(Mat. 24:3) .

In this important prophecy (Mat.24) , Jesus gave to the disciples a pointby-point description of what wouldoccur in these last days before H isSecond Coming. He prophesied thatPRIOR to His coming titanic worldWA RS would engulf nations and kingdoms, famines would rage, diseaseepidemics and pestilence would ravagecities and countrysides, and greatEARTHQUAKES would rend and convulse the land (Mat. 24:7) .

Then, Jesus foretold a final persecution inflicted in His true followers

The PLAIN TRUTH

(vs. 9-11), with the special rise offalse ministers who would deceive theworld. He foretold an AGE OF LAW·

LESSN ESS - rampant iniquity - a greatbreakdown in morality (v, 12) ! But,Jesus said, in the midst of this travailand grief, the gospel-good news-ofthe kingdom of God will be THUNDEREDTO ALL NATIONS-"and then shall theEND come" (Mat. 24 :14).

Jesus was speaking of the smashingCLIMAX at the close of this present ageof Satan's misrule over the earth ! Hewas speaking of the present crisis facingthis very generation.

He said, "For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the be·ginning of the world to this time, no,NOR EVER SHALL BE" (v. 21) . Jesusadded, "And except those days shouldbe shortened, there should NO FLESH

be saved ..." (v. 22) .

You need to ask j ourself-c-could allTHE SE things have come to pass in thedays of Jesus' disciples ? Was ALL MAN·

KIND-all flesh upon the earththreatened with MASS EXTIN CTION inthe days of the apostles and the earlyNew Testament Church?

Of course not!Did the end of Satan's misrule of

April, 1965

the world occur in the days of theapostles?

Obviously not ! Else this PRESENT

world would IIOt be filled with satanicdeceptions, nations at each other'sthroats, threatening each other withatomic weapons and the mushroomcloud !

Not until our generation has the entire population of the earth faced starkannihilation.' Not until 1955, reports theEncyclopedia Britannica, was it acknowledged that man now had enough destructive power stockpiled to wipe allflesh from the face of the earth! Already 10 years have passed. Soon it willbe 1975 !

This is the end-time of which JesusChrist spoke ! This is the generation Hehad in mind when He said, "Verily Isay unto you, This generation shall notpass, till ALL these things be fulfilled"(Mat. 24:34) .

W e are living in the prophesied pulsating, throbbing generation immediately preceding the second coming of JesusChrist.

Will the World RECOGNIZEthe Returning Christ?

The Jews did not recognize Jesus as the Messiah when Heappeared over 1900 years ago. They called Him a blasphemer. The Romans crucified Him. Today the most COLOSSAL LIE of all time is be ing spawned to counterfeit the identityof the returning Christ. This challenging article unmasks the

deception.

by Richard H. Sedliacik

TH E MOST sinister, diabolical LIE

ever foisted on a confused worldis now being spread.

This cunning master-lie makes JesusChrist appear to be the ARCH·ENEMYof the world! It falsely labels Jesus asth e "ANTICHRIST," It cunni ng ly makesthe Antichrist appear to be Christ !

It' s time you knew the shockingtru th about this monstro us hoax ! Andwhat it has to do with "ChristianUnity" and the coming revival of theHoly Roman Empire in Europe.

Plot to Unite Churchand State

For over 30 years, Mr. Armstronghas been warning the nations via TheWORLD T OMORROW broadcast and ThePLAIN TRUTH magazine of the prophesied end-time revival of the "HolyRoman Empire." It is a union ofChurch and State, of econom ics andscience, that will stamp out true Christianity- that will exalt a mortal manto the off ice of Christ, It will deceivethe world into believing that theChrist of your Bible-who is comingagain to destroy this diabo lical system- is "the Antich rist."

In the Bible. God cloaks this coming European religio-politica l empire inmysterious symbolism. It is called inyour Bible "Babylon the Great."No tice God's prophecy,

"And I saw a WOMAN [the symbolof a Church (II Cor, 11 :2)] sit upona scarlet colored beast [ the symbol of apolitical government], full of names

of blasphemy. , .. and upon her forehead was a name written, M YSTERY

BABYLON THE G REAT, THE M OTH ER

OF H ARLOTS AND A BOMIN ATION S OF

THE EARTH" (Rev, 17 :3, 5),

God labels her (verse 1) what sheis-"the great whore that sltteth uponmany waters"- a symbol of "peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues" overwhich she rules spiri tually (Rev.17:15) , In verse 2, she is describedas having committed spiritual "fornication" with "the kings of the earth"!Th at is, alliances, concordats with thenations of this world, instead of waiting for the return ing Christ to establish the Kingdom of God on earth,

She is also described as "that greatCITY which reignetb over the kings ofthe earth" (verse 18).

A woman is God's symbol for acburcb. Here is a fallen woman-anapostate church- ruling over many nations! A great false church riding ,dominating, the "Beast' t-c-th e RomanEmpire which is soon to arise for thelast time!

Th ose who know history and understand Bible prophecy en ou: whatpower ruled over the civil governmentof the "Holy" Roman Empire duringthe Middle Ages!

Th is great counterfeit religioninstead of becoming "engaged" to thetrue Christ, and keeping herself trueto Him as coming World Rulerformed illicit unions with the governments of this world .

She entered into world politics! Shesought to dominate th is world's governments ! Thus she committed spiritual"fornicat ion"-illicit union prior tomarr iage.

God port rays this church as havinga "Iamb-like" - Christ-like - appearance. It appears as if it were God'sChurch , but actually speaks as a"dragon"-the D EVIL! (Rev, 13:11;12:9,)

History tells us this power patterned its ecclesiastical governmentafter the "BEAsT"-the Roman civilgovernment .

Although palmed off as the govern·ment of God, this church governmentis in reality only an "image; ' or copy,of a satanic, human governmentNOT the government of God!

She has always used religion as hermeans of gaining political control oversociety-first through education andfinally by government and economics. Her basic policy is to establish herorder-her rule--over the world.

Revelation 17 reveals her goal is tobecome universal- the one and ON LY

church-ruling the whole world poLITICALLY!

Religion to Unify Europe

No military or political leader couldunite . Europe. Only religion can do it !

Only some great religious leader canbe the supreme authority acceptable toall!

The prophecy in Revelation 17 shows

that all seven successive revivals of the"Holy" Roman Empire would bedominated by a great [allen church.

And history tells us that a successionof great religious rulers did dominateevery one of the fo rmer six revivalsof the " Holy Roman Empire"!

Ten European nations are finally tounite in the last restoration of theRoman Empire. Th ey are symbolizedin Revelation 17 as "ten horns" (v erse7) . Leading them will be a greatmiracle-working religious leader.

Th is union will , by common consent, give its united strength into thehands of the political and militaryleader-the "Beast," a " Hit ler"-whowill be approved by this great religiousleader ! (Rev, 17:12,13,)

When the religious leader-the"man of sin"-gives the word, everydevoted follower will OBEY his orders !He will step into the picture withhis miracles as the supreme unifyingauthority-the final arbiter-the onlyone who can finally unite the differing, squabbling nations of Europe andbring "peace" to the world.

All Europe will become fallaticallyreligio/IJ .'

The remaining "wayward daughter"churches of the great "Mother" churchwill be forced back into the fold .Only ON E RELIGION will be the accepted form of worship !

The g reat "fallen woman" will havemounted the resurrected "Beast"-theRoman Empire ! (Rev. 17 :3, 5.)

"ANTICHRIST" Revealed!

The apostle Paul warns us of this"man of sin" in II Thessalonians2 :1·1 2-a mere human who will exalthimself above all- ez/el1 above God !

Listen to Paul's grim warning: "Letno man deceive you by any means:for that day [the day of Christ's return- verses 1-2] shall not come, except there come a falling away first[a rebellion against God 's government] ,and that MAN OF SIN be revealed, theson of perdition; who opposes andexalts himself above all that is railedGod, or that is worshipped; so tbat heas God sits in the temple of God,showing himself that he IS God . . .whom tbe Lord shall consume with the

spirit of his mouth, and shall destroywith the brightn ess of his coming"(ve rses 3-5, 8).

Did you grasp the full impact of thisamazing prophecy?

Paul said there would rise up in ourday- just immediately before the return of Jesus Christ-a great miracleworking religious ruler with the audacity to claim he is God on earth!

To Perfo rm Satanic Miracles

This "man of sin" will use hismiracle-working power as a supposed"proof" that he is God !

The apostle Paul warned : ". .. Evenhim, whose coming is afler the working of Satan with all power and signsand LYING wonders, and with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in themthat perish [are perishing]; becausethey receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved" (II Thess.2:9-10) .

Here is pictured, in propbecy, thehead of a vast ecclesiastical empire.Through Satan's power, he will perform false miracles and lying wonde rs

to deliberately deceive the world intobelieving he is GOD on earth and thatthe returning Christ is the Antichrist!

April, 1965

This "man of sin" will even calldown fire from the sky! "And hedoeth great wonders, so that he makethfi re come down from heaven on theearth in the sight of men, And DE

CEIVETH them that dwell on the earthby means of those miracles which hehad power to do . .." (Rev. 13:13-14.)

Millions will be swept off their feetby his migbty signs. They will worship him "as [very] God" because ofthese spectacular, attention-getting, setanic miracles!

Have you the wit to see exactly whothe apostle Paul is referring to as this"man of sin"?

The COLOS SAL LIE!

God Almigbty also calls the man ofsin a great " false prophet" (Rev.19:20) .

Notice the profound effect his false"prophetic utterances" will have on theChristian-professing world :

When Jesus Christ returns to punisbthe world for its sins and to stamp outwar and bring peace at last, will theworld accept Him as the Messiah?

Not at all!

They will rejiae to heed- "and theyrepented not" (Rev. 16 :9) . They will

instead rsn from Christ-even cailingfor the rocks to fall on them, hidingin caves-FLEEING from the face ofGod Almighty! (Revelation 6:15 -16.)

But why?

Because that "false prophet" willhave deceived them into believing thebiggest lie ever told!

Into their ears, he will have pouredthe insidious, diabolical lie that the returning King of kings and Lord oflords, Jesus Christ, is the ANTICHRIST-that He is the Devil incarnate.'

And the world will believe himbecause God will have sent them"strong delusion, that they should believe a lie" ! (II Thess. 2:11.)

What the False ProphetW ill Claim

Already the clever deception is being spread. Notice this false prophecyrevealed well over a century ago:"Antichrist will figh t a successfulbattle at Mageddo [Armageddon] inPalestine after which . , . he will thereafter become lord of the world"(Prophecy for T oday, p. 71) .

Your Bible states that throughSatanic influence, the False Prophet andthe Beast will muster the armies of thenations to FIGHT the returning JesusChrist (Rev. 16:13-14, 16; 17 :13-14) .They will be convinced He is the Antichrist, the enemy of the world !

Bible prophecy reveals [ess s Christwill be victorious when He returnsnot the Antichrist: "And I saw heavenopened, and behold a white horse; andhe that sat upon him was calledFaithful and True, and in righ/e01/S11eSShe doth judge and make war. . . .

" And out of his mouth goeth a sharpsword, that with it he should SMITE

the nations : and he shall rsle themwith a rod of iron: and he treadeththe winepress of the fierceness andwrath of Almighty God. And he hathon his vesture and on his thigh aname written, KI N G OF KIN GS, AND

LORD OF LORDS" ! (Rev. 19 :11-16.)"The Kings will send armies to the

Holy Land," continues the falseprophecy, "but the Antichrist will slaythem all" ! (ibid ., page 69,)

Revelation 19 :19-21 shows this isexactly what the returning Christ-not

The PLAIN TRUTIi

the Antichrist- will do! He will causetheir flesh to H consume away whilethey stand upon their feet . . ." (Zech.14 :12) .

But to continue with these diabolicalfalse prophecies: "Antichri st and hisarmy will conquer Rome, kill the Popeand take the throne .. . the Jews willcome from everywhere, and acceptAntichrist as the Messiah" ( ibid., p.68).

Your Bible reveals [esus Christ is todestroy the Beast and the False Prophetby casting them into the lake of fire!(Rev. 19:20.) The Jews will then acknowledge, for the first time, that thereturning Jesus is indeed their Messiah.Notice it in Zech. 12:9 -10.

" And it shall come to pass in thatday, that 1 will seek to destroy all thenations that come agaimt Jerusalem. And 1 will pour upon the house ofDavid, and upon the inhabitants ofJerusalem. the spirit of g race and ofsupplications: and they shall look uponme whom they have pierced, and theyshall mourn for him, as one mournethfor his only son . . ." (Zech . 12:9-10) .

More Satanic D eceptions

Continuing the false doctrine whichthe False Prophet will proclaim: "After

27

the destruction of Rome, Antichristwill appear and exalt himself abovepagan deities and the Trinity . . . Coming to Jerusalem, he will succeedthrough false preaching, miracles, gifts, terror, aided throughout by the devil.

"An evil spirit will come out of theair and descend on his fo llowers. Heshall feign a resurrection from thedead, cause rain to fall . . . perfonnother wonders, all through the powerof the devil. . .. The Jews will welcomehim" (Prophecy for T oday, p. 66) .

Now read your Bible! After the fallof Rome (see Rev. 18) , it is Christwho will .rtamp out the pagan religionsand false Christianity. He will descendto the Mount of Olives, "which is before Jerusalem on the east" (Zech.14 :4) . Then He will make His HOLYSPIRIT available to all human beings(Joel 2:28, 32) . It will be the time ofthe [irst resurrection. Th e dead inChrist will rise from their graves!

(I Cor. 15:50-55.)

Yet all these plain scriptures are madeto appear as though they were the workof the Antichrist instead of Christ. TheHoly Spirit is diabolically labeled "anevil spirit" that "will come out of the

W hy Germany Rises Again

I have before me an amazing articlewhich appeared in the T. V. Times,I l th February, 1965-read throughoutBritain. This article, which concerns thegiant "Krupp" wo rks of Germany, waswritten by Air Vice-Marshal D.C.T.Bennett, C.B., C.B.E., 0 .5.0. He is theman "who organized and led theR.A.F. Path finder Force" that annihilated the Kru pp factories during WorldWa r II.

In this article he asked, "Is theworld mad ?" And then he proceededto explain that twenty-five years previously he had helped to destroy thecolossal German armaments f irm ofKrupp in the Ruhr Valley city of Essen.

He continued: "Today that monsteris stronger than ever," Air ViceMarshal Bennett then asked if he hadwasted his time fighting the Germanwar machine. Had all of the lives ofthe many airmen-who never returnedfrom their perilous bombing missionsbeen sacrif iced in vain ?

"I never imagined when I was leading and organizing the Pathfinder raidsagainst the Krupp works that, withintwenty-five years, the firm would riseagain.

Continentals. But in spite of DeGaulle's grandiose designs, Biblicalprophecy reveals that Germa ny-notFrance-will ultimately head the sooncoming United States of Europe!

Right now De Gaulle is trying toweaken the dollar in order to undermine America's influence in Europeand the whole world . Spain is alsoagitating-for the control of Gibraltar. And Brita in will lose Gibraltar-justas we have been saying for years.Prophecy is very clear on th is point.

Long ago, the prophecies of yourBible had revealed that in this endtime there would be the seventh andf inal revival (or resurrection) of theRoman Empire. The previous six reo

vivals [vheads" in prophetic symbolism] were Justinian, Charlemagne, Otto the Great , Charles the Great, N apoleon, Mussolini -Hitler - and thef inal seventh head, now in the processof being formed right before yourvery eyes !

Coal and Steel Group, a subsidiarywhich mines about .sA million tons ofcoal per annum and produces 4 milliontons of steel. Sixty percent of Krupp'ssales go to other European countries ,17 percent go to Asia. The last declared turnover of the Krupp empirewas £466 million for 1963-64. Of th is,£75 million represented export sales.

Air Vice-Marshal Bennett described

how ..the Pathfinder Force proceededto make mincemeat of the Ruhr, andparticularly of the Krupp buildings."

He then admits: " I doubt if I everthought they would rise again.

"The decision to allow their resurrection has always seemed to me, atthe very least, to be indiscreet."

Air Vice-Marshal Bennett assumes itwas the duty of the Allies to create aneconomy which would enable the Germans to decently support themselves. He then asked: "But was it reallynecessary to be so whole-hearted aboutit? To enable them to re-create an industrial machine which not only supports life for them but gives them asurplus industrial capacity, embarrassing in peace and dangerous in war?

"And which has come to be a verysevere threat to our own economiclife? "

Tbe PLAIN TRUTH

In Air Vice-Marshal Bennett's opinion the Alli ed decision to re-createsuch a powe rful industrial machine was"lunatic." It is "even less understandable when we consider the danger thatthe Krupp firm may, again, be used tosupport a German war effort whichcould be directed against this countryor its interests,"

The Air Vice-Marshal explained :

"Without the Krupp factories, Germany would never be a threat to theworld again."

"Another War WithGermany?"

He concludes: "Many people poohpooh the idea of another war withGermany and I hope they are right. But this is to ignore the facts of theGerman character and the declared intention of many people (staunchNazis) upon whom Hitler depended forhis support- to succeed, where theyhave twice failed in the past."

Yes, many people know that thesedyed-in-the-wool Nazis planned a comeback long before the collapse of Hitler's Third Reich. These hard-core N azisfully expect to again seize power inGermany (when the time is ripe) andto become the leaders of the German

29

nation in a revived, resurrected Fascistor Roman type of government-whichwill probably be called a United Statesof Europe. T. H. Tetens, in a numberof well-documented books (notablyTbe New Germany and tbe Old Nazi, and Germany Plots Witb the Krem lin), has laid bare this Nazi masterplan for world conquest! And everything is proceeding exactly accordingto their diabolical plans!

Why Britons Fear a Rearmed

Germany

Air Vice-Marshal Bennett's statementsmirror the fears felt by many Britons.Multitudes in Britain have not forgotten Wo rld War I or the blitz andother horrors of World Wa r II.

Though the average Briton does notappear to bate the Germans, yet he doesfear that another demagogue, like Hitler, may some day seize the reins ofpower in Germany and again lead thatnation down the suicidal path of militant Fascism.

This intense British fear, oftenvoiced in the British press, of what arearmed Germany might again do wasrecently reflected by tbe Prime Minis ter, Mr. Harold Wilson. In his recenttalks in Bonn, he was very adamantin his refusal to make concessionswhich would give Germany a f inger onthe nuclear trigger. Significantly, however, he did agree that Germany shouldbe re-united ! "Premier Harold Wilsoncommitted Britain to support a newWestern drive for the reunification ofGermany today," reported the LondonDaily Exp ress, March 9, 1965. This theRussians don't want to see happen.

Russia shudders at the thought of aunited Germany gaining control of anuclear arsenal! "News that Mr. Harold W ilson had agreed with ChancellorErhard tn begin negotiations to try tounify Germany astonished some of Mr.Wilson 's friends.. ..

"Unification of Germany seemsdirectly opposed to Russian policies . .."reported Time & Tide, 11-17 March,1965.

Britain and, to a lesser extent, America and other nations are also not tooelated at the thought of Germany incontrol of nuclear arms. Bible prophecy

reveals that no power on earth can stopGermany from rising up to its fulleconomic and military stature. And nonation can prevent a revived Germanyfrom seizing control of this soon-coming United States of Europe ! Result ?The whole world will once again beplunged into war-World W ar I1Iwith all its nuclear destructiveness!

Mr. Armstrong for the past 20 andmore years has repeatedly warned thatthis will happen-as is clearly revealedthrough the prophecies of your Bible !Do you know of any other work onthe face of the earth which really understands the prophecies of the Bibleand is showing this world what willhappen-before it happens?

The ultimate end of this Germandominated United States of Europe isclearly revealed in the fo llowing scripture: "And the ten horns which thousawest arc ten kings! which have received no kingdom as yet; but receivepower one hour with the beast. Thesehave one mind, and shall give theirpower and strength 1111/0 the beast. These shall make war with the Lamb[Jesus Christ], and the Lamb shallovercome them .. ." (Rev. 17: 12-14 ) .

which figh t against Christ at His second coming is described in Revelation19 :11-2 1. "And I saw the beast, andthe kings of the earth, and theirarmies, gathered together to make waragainst him that sat on the horse, andagainst h is army" (verse 19 ) . Verses20 and 21 vividly describe the completedestruction to befall these Fascist armies. This is also foretold in Zechariah14 :1-15.

Only God's Servants Can Kn ow

For many years God' s called andfaithful servants have been proclaiming(via radio and The PLAIN TRUTHmagazine) these prophecies to a heedless world. Sir W inston Churchill, apolitical leader in modern Israel, gavewarning before World Wars I and IIof the impending war and devastationthat was to befall Britain. But onlyThe WORLD TOMORROW broadcast hasbeen warning the world of the finaloutcome of the soon -coming WorldWar II I. We have repeatedly warnedthat ten nations-uniting in economic, political and religious matters-willform this United States of Europe. Itwill ultimately wreak nuclear havocupon the cities of America and Britain-bringing us to our knees- andfinally to our God! Shortly afterwa rd,Jesus Christ will return to this earthin supernatural power and glory to savenot only our peoples, but the peopleof the whole world, from utter annihilation (see Mat. 24 :21).

He will rescue our people from beingutterly destroyed by the soon-comingUnited Europe. It is during this timeof g reat tribulation and impendingdoom that our people will realize thatthe darkest hour of their entire historywill be that terrifying time of "Jacob'strouble"-mentioned in Jeremiah 30 :7,

Daniel 12 :1-2 and Matthew 24 :21.

"For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning ofthe world to this time! no, nor evershall be."

Real "Peace in Our T ime"

But, thank God, Jesus Christ shallultimately return to this earth andbring peace to this hate-filled, wartorn, sick, chaotic earth. We ought to

be very thankfu l for that one true rayof divine hope. Then the prophecies ofIsaiah 2 :1-5 and Micah 4:1-4 will be

fulfilled.

Here is really good news !

"But in the last days it shall cometo pass, that the mountain of the houseof the Lord shall be established in thetop of the mounta ins, and it shall beexalted above the hill s; and people shallflow unto it. And many nations shallcome, and say, Come, and let us go upto the mountain of the Lord, and tothe house of the God of Jacob; and Hewill teach us of his ways, and we willwalk in his paths: for the law shall goforth of Zion, and the word of theLord from Jerusalem. And he [Christ]shall judge among many people, andrebuke strong nations afar off; andthey shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up swordagainst nation, neither shall they learnwar any more. But they shall sit everyman under his vine and under his figtree; and none shall make them afraid :for the mouth of the Lord of hostshath spoken it" (Micah 4:1-4).

What a wonderful day to look forward to, when the literal Kingdom ofGod ( ruled over by Christ and Histhen-made-immortal saints) shall beestablished literally on this earthbringing health, peace, prosper ity andeverlasting happiness in its wake-farbeyond the fondest dreams of a SirWinston Churchill.

CHAPTER SEVENTY-EIGHT

VIRTUE IS REWARDED

R urn, the young Moabite woman, had real affection for Boaz, the wealthy,

elderly Israelite grain grower. She hoped that Boaz would marry her. Boaz, who

himself was probably a widower, hoped that it would be that way, too.

But there was another man in Bethlehem who was more closely related to Ruth's

dead husband. He had more claim to Ruth as a wife than did Boaz, (Deuteronomy

25:5-6.) However, this other man had given the matter no real thought. (Ruth

3:10·18.)

Boaz Plans Wisely

During the weeks Ruth had gleaned in his fields, Boaz had come to love the

Moabitess, and he was determined not to lose her. The morning after he found

that Ruth cared deeply for him, he went early to the main gate of Bethlehem, the

place where most business was conducted in that area. There he stayed, hopeful

of finding the unmarried man who was more closely related to Ruth's dead hus

band, and whose traditional duty it was to marry the widow if she were childless.

Boaz was confident he would see the relative as he left town to spend the day

working in his fields.

Fortunately, the man soon showed up at the busy place. Boaz sought him out

and invited him to share the bench where he, Boaz, had been patiently sitting.

(Ruth 4:1.)

"I have some important news that could be very good for you," Boaz told him.

" If you will sit here for just a few minutes till I return, I'll tell you about it."

Page 36: Truth 19… · ~~ourREADERSSAY the-PlAH~T~UT~ a magazine of underlltanding "I wish to comment on the new im proved PLAIN TRUTH by saying the full color cover surely makes it at tractive.

Believing he had come across a rare bargain, the closest of kin to Naomi 's deadhusband was quite anx ious to purchaseNaomi 's field .. .

34 The PLAIN TRUTH

It was the custom then that several other people be present as witnesses when

business decisions and agreements were made. Boaz wanted to make certain that

what he was about to do was duly witnessed. Being well known in Bethlehem, he

succeeded in quickly summoning ten of the leading men of the region who were

present in the crowd at the gate. They gathered around him and the man he had

detained to see that matters were properly attested to.

"I 'm here to inform you that Elimelech's wife, Naomi, who recently returned

from Moab, has a fine field for sale at a reasonable price," Boaz explained.

"Inasmuch as you are Elirnelech's nearest relative, you should have the first op

portunity to purchase the land. If you prefer not to buy it, then I should like to

do so as the next of kin after you." (Leviticus 25:25.)

Ever since Naomi had returned from Moab, Boaz had known that she had

intended to sell the piece of land. She didn't want to part with it, but her increas

ing needs made it necessary. Boaz' colorful description of the field caused his rela

tive to feel that it was indeed a bargain without his even seeing it, though he knew

the location.

"I'll buy it!" he exclaimed. "Tell

Naomi that I'll bring her the money this

very afternoon!" (Ruth 4:2-4.)

"Good!" Boaz said. "And now I have

a pleasant surprise for you. The sale of

this land also includes something else

marriage to Elimelech's childless daughter

in-law, Ruth, and having an heir to Elime

lech by her!"

The relative's jaw dropped . He stared

unhappily at Boaz, who had hoped for

just that reaction.

"Then I can't afford to buy it!" he

declared disappointedly, when he knew he

couldn't get the field just for himself.

"From what I've heard, this Ruth would

make a wonderful wife. But I can't afford to spend Illy money to provide an heir

for Elimelech. It would be much simpler if you would buy the land, Boaz, and

thereby have Ruth in marriage:'

The man thereupon yanked off one shoe and handed it to Boaz, which was

a custom indicating that the nearest of kin declined to carry out his obligations,

and left them to the next of kin after him. All this was just how Boaz had hoped

and planned that matters would turn out. (Ruth 4:5-8.)

A Happy Solurion

"You have seen and heard what has

happened here," Boaz announced to the

witnesses. "I hereby declare that I will pur

chase the land that belongs to Elimelech

and his sons and Naomi. Besides, by this

purchase, and with her consent-I hereby

acquire Ruth , the daughter-in-law of

Naomi, as my wife, so that she shall not

be childless even though her first husband

is dead."

The ten men Boaz had chosen and

even many others who had been watching

and listening nodded in agreement.

"\V/e are witnesses to what has taken

place here," they spoke out. "May God

cause your wife to be as fruitful as Rachel

and Leah, from whom Israel came, and may you have great success in your work.

We hope that your house will be like that of Pharez, from which part of the peo

ple of Judah sprang in such great numbers!" (Ruth 4:9-12.)

The tribute was graciously accepted by Boaz, who then lost little time in getting

to the home of Naomi and his new wife Ruth. When Ruth saw him approaching,

she was filled with anxiety, realizing that the man who was nearest of kin to Naomi's

dead husband could have acquired her in marriage, even though she had never met

him.

Her fears were swept away the moment Boaz entered the house. She could tell

by his excited grin that he had, with God's help, somehow made matters work out

right. She fell into the arms of her new husband, silently thanking God that such

happiness could be hers.

Naomi slipped quietly out of the room, smiling to herself because of how well

matters had turned out, though she didn't yet know what Boaz had done to make

them that way.

means servant .

"Ruth is better than seven

sons:' they told Naomi, "be

cause she has stayed with you,

and now she has given birth to

a grandson who will give you

great happiness in your latter

years. He will also become fa

mous, a man in whom you shall

be pleased."

The Ancestry of Jesus

This prediction, whether or

not inspired, turned out true.

Naomi became a nurse to Obed,

and greatly enjoyed the privilege

of helping rear a boy. Obed not

only became an outstanding

Israelite, but he also was an

ancestor of Jesus Christ. (Ruth

4:13-17.)

Ruth had forsaken the worship of the idols of Moab.Otherwise, God wouldn't have allowed her marriageto Bccz, whose descendants red to the birth of Christ.

Some who read the story of Ruth, which gives an insight into the lives of a

few of the obedient people of Israel in troubled times, might question the marriage

of an Israelite to a Moabitess, from the heathen land of Moab.

The answer is Boaz married a woman who had renounced the pagan religion

and gods of Moab. She had a desire to become as an Israelite by obeying and wor

shipping the God of Israel. Further, the Moabites were not of another race. Their

ancestor Moab was a son of Abraham's nephew Lot. (Genesis 12:5 and 19:36-38 .)

God's church has always been made up basically of Israelites, but Gentiles have

been able to come into the Church and become "spiritual" Israelites by forsaking

their wrong practices and beliefs and repentantly and earnestly seeking the ways

and laws of the Creator, who

chose Israel to help carry out

His plan.

In due time Boaz and Ruth

had a son. Friends suggested

that he be named Obed, which

The lineage of Christ at the time of Judah (see Genesis 38, especially verses

27-30) had a strange twist at the birth of Judah 's twin boys. The midwife pres

ent, realizing that two babies were to be born, noticed that a little arm was first

to appear . She hastily tied a red thread around the protruding wrist to indicate for

certain which baby obviously was to be born first , inasmuch as the firstborn son

would ordinarily be the one to whom the greater honor and heritage would be

due. In this case, the royal line ending in Christ would be carried on through the

one born first.

The baby with the red string on his wrist wasn't the first, however. The other

twin was born before him, to the surprise of the midwife. He was named Pharez,

the one referred to by Boaz' witnesses when they expressed their hope that all would

go well with him. The other baby was named Zarah. (Genesis 38:27-30; Ruth 4:18 .)

Th is unusual birth situation was mentioned in the Bible because it had to do

with who and where Israel is today-something that presently isn't understood by

most ministers, religious leaders and Bible scholars.

There were seven generat ions and about four and a half centuries from Pharez

to Obed. Obed was the grandfather of David (Ruth 4:19-22), and then there were

twenty-eight more generations of the line of Judah to the time that Jesus was

born. (Matthew 1:17.)

There were several long generations among the ancestors of David after the

Israelites arrived in Canaan. Boaz was born after the arrival in Canaan. Yet his

great-grandson David-the third generation afterward-was born about three hun

dred years later. The Bible tells us Jesse was very old compared to other men when

his son David was a young boy. (I Samuel 17:12.) Some of these men must have

been over a hundred years old when their last sons were born, just as Abraham was.

(Genesis 21:5; Genesis 24:1, 67; Genesis 25:1-2.)

In those days people were healthier and had a more natural diet and got plenty

of exercise. They were vigorous until they were very old. (Deuteronomy 34:7.)

God had a hand in what occurred in this matter of His Son's ancestors. This

doesn't mean that people are always caused to think and act only as the Creator

wills. If that were so, we would be little better than robots. But God does choose

to work through certain people. Those whom He chooses don't always realize that

God is leading them to decide to do certain things in certain ways insomuch that

it all results in some end God had in mind.

About a century and a half after the birth of Obed, there was a man by the

name of Elkanah living in a town in the high elevations of the Mt. Ephraim re-

gion. He was a Levite, and he had two wives. This wasn't right and he, being a

Levite, should have known better. But there were many things not right in Israel

in those times when the people had fallen so far away from God. However, the

fact that this man had two wives for so many years was part of the means through

which he was used to later bring another of God's servants onto the scene. (ISamuel 1:1-2.)

Bigamy Leads to Heartache

Elkanah tried to obey God the best he knew how for the most part, including

observing the annual Sabbaths. But still, because of his bigamy, all was not peace and

harmony in his home. One of his wives, Peninnah, was jealous of the other, Ha1U1ah,

because their husband showed Hannah more affection . Hannah, however, was un

happy because she had no children and Peninnah had several. To add to the trouble,

Peninnah often vexed Hannah, telling her that she wasn't a good wife, and that it

was obvious because she had no children. Hannah could hardly bear up under such

childless in Israel.

Elkanah would have spared himself and his family much grief if he had wisely

considered how matters were bound to turn out for a man craving and taking on

two wives. On the other hand, God eventually allowed this tragic situation to serve

a purpose.

The tahernacle and ark were still located at Shiloh, a town in the mountains

of Ephraim about twenty miles north of Jerusalem. During one of the times Elkanah

was there with his family to make peace offerings, Peninnah was especially trouble

"Does our husband feel that

you might at last be able to bear a

Hannah winced at this remark.

Hannah kept on praying silently. Her lips were moving, and she was unwittingly

Elkanah understood that she wanted

Also, investigators have found thaton May 2, 1945, a mysterious flotillaof Ll-boats sailed from secret N orwegian bases. Norway, of course, wasunder the control of Nazi Germany atthis time. A total of twent), submarineswere reported in that floti lla. Yet onlyFOUR were heard of again, and onlythree of them surrendered to the allies !

What happened to the other seventeen Nazi submarines?

They were seventeen of Germany'slatest and finest schnoerkel, long-rangeLl-boats, But they disappeared into thinair!

A clue to this disappearance can befound in the fact that on July 10, 1945,American Ambassador to Argentina,Spruille Braden, was informed that twoGerman U-boats had just put in to Mardel Plata. The American Ambassadorimmediately dispatched two of his aceIntelligence Officers to th is area. Theyinformed him there was only one V boat in the harbor, but confirmed thattwo had arrived earlier.

Ambassador Braden told an American reporter: "I know these V-boatscame from Norway. I firmly believethey carried highly secret componentparts of Germany's secret weapons aswell as the Naz i scientists' nuclear developments. I don't think they had anatom bomb yet, but I'm sure they wereclose to it.

"Our Intelligence Officers werehandicapped in their mission in Argentina by complete lack of co-operation from the Government. In fact, theArgentine authorities protected theNazis and consistently concealed information that would have been of assistance to us."

Th e PLAIN TRUTH

Ambassador Braden found that anentire area near Bariloche, in the SanNegro Province, was a Nazi stronghold. Th rough secret Nazi funds spiroited there from the Fatherland, Germanagents had bought tbousends of acresof land and had set up a secret Na ziState in the heart of Southern Argontina.

Despite official opposit ion, Ambassador Braden and his Intelligence Csi ficers traced seventy-one prominentNazis to the Argentine. He handed alist of these men to the Argentine Government. But very little toas done aboutit,

Evidence from Many Sources

In short, our PLAIN TRUTH readersshould know that much evidence indicates that Adolf Hitler fled Germany atthe end either in a private plane orsubmarine. Probably, one of the manywaiting get-away planes flew him to asecret submarine base at Trondheim,Norway, where he then went by submarine to a well-stocked N azi ShangriLa in Antarctica, and later to the Argentine. Certainly, the constant maneuvering in and out of the Argentine byBormann, .Mengele and other fannerNazi leaders indicates that a majorNazi headquarters is established in thatnation.

In January of 1964, Jach Comben ofthe London Daily Express went to investigate reports of a secret Na zi hideout one hundred miles north of SanCarlos de Bariloche in Argentina. Uponhis return, Mr. Comben claimed : HIhave come back from visiting the mostextraordinary sllrviving outpost of Hitler's Germany in the world today."

Dr. Fritz Bauer, present AttorneyGene ral for the German State of Hesse, declared as recently as 1963: "We nowhave conclusive evidence that he [Bormann] is hid ing in South America."An aide of Dr. Bauer told a reporterof a U . S. large-circulation magazine:"Hitler would never commit suicide. He was obsessed with the idea that hehad divine guidance, and was alwaystoo concerned with his own health andsafety. Th e people who were closest tohim are convinced he escaped."

Conducting personal interviews inWest Germany, our own PLAIN TRUTH

April, 1965

staff members have found that manyGermans still believe Hitler to be alive.T he two most frequently advancedreasons for believing this are: "Hitlerwas too big a coward to commit suicide." And, "Hitler was too smart to getcaught without a way of escape."

After he was caught right there inthe Argentine, Adolf Eichmann-aman who should know-bellowed ashe went to the gallows: "Long liveHitler ! Long live Germany !"

What If Hitler Still LIVES?

Some of our readers may ask, "Whatif Hitler is still alive ? What does thathave to do with me, with my life? "

The answer is that it may well haveEVERYTHING to do with )'o/lr life!

For Bible prophecy shows that thereis to be one more revival of the Fascistsystem in Europe! It is destined toal/ack and CONQUER the United Statesand Britain just before the secondcoming of Jesus Christ!

The amazing Bible prophecies foretelling these very events wiJ/ be explained in next month's PLAIN TRUTH.Don't miss the exciting sequel to thisarticle!

Ever since Adam, men have beengoing places by themselves, choosing their own kind of environment, and we can hardly blame on God whatmen have chosen. But when God createdour first parents-the fi rst humansHe set them in a place of H IS choosing. And what was it?

A GARDEN? A garden so beautifulit has been known thru history as"paradise" -a name synonymous witha beauty and a glory beyond humanconception!

And what did God instruct theman ? 'OY° dress it and to keep it,"not to let it deteriorate into a rundown, unkept jungle of weeds ! God

commanded him, then, to KEEP IT

BEAUTIFUL!

Th is same God led us to one of themost beautifully landscaped places inall the earth, opened this place up tous as the location for His collegewhich He had shown us He wantedestablished. True, it had been somewhatneglected for a time. But diligently, with joyful enthusiasm we set about to"dress it and to keep it," All the weedsand ugly growth were cleared away. The spacious and beautifully slopinggrounds were smoothed over, and alovely carpet of green grass was sown. The trees were pruned, the shrubs, hedge and vines carefully and expertlytrimmed; roses, pansies and other flowers planted in the proper places. Andthe campus has blossomed forth intoone of the most beautiful places onearth.

Can this be "too fine ?"-"too beautiful?"-"too fancy?" Does this dressing and keeping of the garden Godplaced in our hands displease God?

Most certainly not! On the contrary,it stands a testimony to His gloryto His goodness to the children of menwho place their lives in His handsto His miraculous intervention in thebehalf of those who trust Him andwhom He can use in His service, for

it is a breathtaking miracle that thisplace IS in our hands at all!

The Temple W as

MAGNIFICENT!

And then how should buildings bebuilt to please God?

Should they be cheaply constructedof inferior materials, built in an indifferent shiftless manner, ready to fallapart ?

David wanted to build a temple forGod and for God's service. God promised David that he could have his wish, but not in his own lifetime-it was tobe built by Solomon his son. How wasit constructed?

The temple at Jerusalem was HUGE.

It was built of the most substantial, enduring fine stones, and polishedmarbles. It was massive, substantial. Itwas beautiful, perhaps the outstandingexample on earth of fine craftsmanship, imposing architecture, superb quality, breathtaking beauty.

Because the Jews broke God's sabbath, and other sins (Jer. 17), and didnot honor that Temple as God hadinstructed; because they treated it irreverently, desecrating it, disobeyingGod, He caused Nebuchadnezzar ofBabylon to send down the Chaldeanarmy to conquer the Jews in war, and

to destroy that Temple (Jeremiah 52).

But 70 years later, a band of Jewsunder leadership of Ezra and Nehemiah, now repentant and humbly yielded toGod, were sent back to Jerusalem to rebuild the Temple . And again it wasperhaps the finest building on earththe product of finest human craftsmanship, most conscientious and reverentlabor, built of superb and beautiful andmost enduring stones, marbles, andmaterials, with gold, brass, and costlymetals-a THING OF JOY AND BEAUTY!

It stood as a great awe-inspiringmonument to God's honor and glory!

Why should anyone today ever suppose that the great Work of God shouldbe housed and conducted in a shanty ora shack-in a dilapidated, run-downsort of place which would be a RE

PROACH to God in the eyes of theworld, and a testimony only to idleness, shiftlessness, carelessness, indifference, deterioration and lack of character?

That is not what God provided IIJ.'

On the contrary, while the place Heprovided for us is comparatively small,as colleges and universities go-becauseHis Work has not Jet grown to theproportions it will, in due time, andbecause all things He starts thru menmust start small (and Ambassador isprobably the smallest liberal arts college

Th ey are amongthe most substant ial and finely con strueted of any similar buildi ngs ofsimilar size on earth today. And we arestill hard at work refinishing theselovely, substantia l fine build ings, gradually bringing them back to their ori ginal beauty. They are buildings builtto last for centuries, if properly maintained.

T he N ew Addition,"MAYFAIR"

And now th is year, God has led usinto the large ad joining property, which has been known as " MAYFAIR."

This doubles the size of the beaut ifulcampus grounds. and provides us withan except ionally fine student residencebuilding and social center for student

activities.This is a large, magnificent 28-room

building of three stories and full basement . It came to us at a very low price, and on such terms that the income fromit virtually pays for it. Th e walls arenot single walls , but triple walls, withtwo insulated air-spaces between theoutside of the building and the inside. The hardware in it alone originally costenough to build an a\'erage five-roomhouse.

This has been one of the proudmansions of a proud neig hborhood. The exterior is now badly in need ofrepa int ing. But when this is donethe woodwork and walls refinished anddecorated inside- the fine oak floorsresanded and refinished- this finebuilding will stand forth in all its ori ginal beauty. And if maint ained , it willremain as fine and beautiful as new, because it was built to last for cen

turi es !It isn't paradise. It isn't the Garden

of Eden. We can on ly vaguel y imaginehow beautiful must have been the Garden into which God placed Adamand the beauty that sha ll once againappea r on earth af ter Christ has conquered the last enemy and sin hasdisappeared.

But we feel, compared with today'ssordid, sin-cursed world, God has placedus in a spot of beauty which gives at

least a slight foretaste of His gloriousKingd om, and of the beauty God hasin store for those that love H im andserve Him !

God wants us to enjoy material, aswell as spiritual beauty ! W e live in amaterial world. God has always beenconcerned with material, as well asspiritual salvation. The great wondersof PHYSICAL nature show God 's migh tyhand iwork . We see God 's glory in thegreat awe-inspiring physical wonde rsHe has created- the Grand Canyon, the Carlsbad Caverns, Crater Lake, Niagara Falls, the Royal Gor ge, the Redwood trees, and the giant Sequoias, the mighty oceans, majes tic mountainpeaks, breathtaking scenic beauty oflakes, rivers and hill s. W e at Ambassador see THE HAND OF GOD in thebeauty He has given us-we feel Hewants us, our staff, our college facultyand students, and our visito rs to ENJOY th is materia l beauty He has madepossible, to glorify H im in it, and togive Him PRAISE!

A Foretaste of the Kingdom!

Is it not significant tha t one of ourstudents, pausin g from the work ofclearing the new "Mayfair" grounds, read a prophetic description of one ofthe activities of God's Kingdom, fromIsaiah 58:9-14; (Moffatt translation):

" IF you will do away with all oppression . , . if you bestow your breadupon the hungry" ( as this W ork is doing spiritually) ... .. then ligh t shalldawn fo r you in darkness . .. and evermore shall the Eternal guide you, guarding you without fail" (as hegraciously does fo r H is Work) . .. "hewill refr esh you in dry places, and renew your strength, till you are like awatered ga rden .. :' (the college campus is becoming a beautiful wateredgarden) . .. " like an oasis with a steadfast spring. Your sons shall bui ld oncemore the ancient ruins, and old foun datio ns shall you raise again; you sha llbe called the REPAIRER OF RUINS, THERESTORER OF WRECKED HOMES."

God is blessing us with a little foretaste of that here and now !

* * * * *Now, back again to April , 1965 , let

me say in conclusion that God has

April, 1965

continued to bless H is W ork utterlybeyond our hopes or dreams . The Workhas multiplied again and again in scopeand power. And now there are THREEoutstanding, beaut iful campuses,

Yet, today, more than ever, we keep"an eag le ere' on the budget. Everyeconomy is pract iced. Just as "all thatglitte rs is not gold," so, conversely, allthat is fin e and beautiful did not costUS extravagantly.

Here is a current living example.Last autumn our new Physical Educat ion facility was completed on the Pasadena campus. It consists of gymnasiwn ,swimm ing pool, and locker and dress ing rooms. Those who see it exclaimthat it is the most BEAUTIFUL buildingof its kind they have ever seen. Butthat beauty did 1101 add exira cost ! Itis the result of "know-how"--of ourcarefu l selection of competent architects-of careful planning and skillfuldesigni ng.

On e woman complained of the "extravagance" of having carpeted dress ing rooms. W e install ed this "luxury"because it COST LESS!

There had to be a solid concrete floo rover this entire basement area. That required a floor covering over the concrete. W e put down this coarse-weavecarpet as a covering because, upkeepconside red, it was THE LEAST COSTLY.It is a special hard-wearing, coarseweave carpet that is not affected bywate r. Students coming in from theshowe r rooms with wet feet wouldhave caused deterioration to a woodfloor. W e considered vinyl tile andother floors-but this tough -weave longwear carpet was not only less costJyreducing maintenance expense, but alsomore desirable. It is nonskid-nonslippery-a SAFETY measure.

In this wonderful W ork of God, werigidly practice OVER-ALL ECONOMY.Through many years of expe rienceGod has shown us how to make Hismoney accomplish the most . This is notdone by being penny-wise, and poundfoolish.

After all , the REAL SAVINGS in God 'smoney are made in the know-how ofgett ing out Christ' s Gospel effeclively.Christ's Message of GOOD NEWS is

LENT, ASHES, EASTER, RABBITSand EGGS- What's it all about?

Just WHAT is "Easter"? What d oes the NAME mean? Haveyou ever W O N DERED WHY you believe and practice certaincusto ms? You'll be surprised to find the PLA IN TRUTH about

Easter!

by Garner Ted Armstrong

AS A BOy-the word "Easter" alwaysn. meant bright, colorful egg-shaped jelly beans; "grass" nests,

with cute little Wa lt Disney type bunnies-and newsreels about the big parade on Fifth Avenue in New York.

The name didn 't bother me, especially. It seemed to rhyme with"yeast," or perhaps have something todo with a direction, like "East." ButEVERYO N E seemed to figu re it wasmigh ty important to pay it some specialattention, and, being a normal boy whowas inclined to get starry-eyed overbrightly-lit candy counters and beribboned store windows-it seemed like agood idea at the time.

But What Does It HaveT o Do With Christ?

My father was a minister, even then.I vaguely realized he didn't pay it anyspecial attention-but, since it wasduring the dep ression of the earlythirties, I suppose I felt the only reasonI didn't get a new suit like some ofthe neighborhood boys was because wewere so poor.

I vaguely resented the fact that Icouldn't plunge headlong into the excitement of the season along with myneighborhood friends-so I would"pretend" to have my own private"Easter," I would get my mother'ssupply of hens' eggs, paint them- hidethem, pretending I didn't know whereto find them-and then "discover"them- J UST BECAUSE OTHERS did it!

Following the crowd is a tremendous pull on little children.

But Easter wasn' t in vented by children- and it' s not child' s play!

What about it ? Did YOU ever won-

der about some of the strange customsbeing observed by "Christian" societiestoday ?

Just what do eggs have to do withChr ist, and His resurrection? What DOrabbits and eggs have in common ?Rabbits most assuredly do 1I0t lay eggs-c-even though millions of little children are taught to assume they do!

And why "hot CROSS buns?" Wh ynot COLD TRIANGLE ones, or just plainbread ? And what was there aboutWednesday that led to putting ASHES

on one's forehead; and what is really"good" about FRIDAY? And IF Fridaywas the day Christ was crucified, thenW HY did He keep IN SISTIN G (Mat.1 2 :4 0 ) He was going to be TH REE

complete days, and THR EE completenights in the tomb?

He couldn't have been-IF He wasresurrected on Sunday morning, couldHe ?

What Does It Matter?

"But WHAT DIFFERENCE does itmake?" one might ask. "After allREGARDLESS as to the significance ofthe day, or the various customs associated with it, we' re doing it to remember the resurrection of Christ, aren't

'"we .

Not the Christ of the Bible, you'renot!

And the answer is-it doesn' tMA KE A BIT of difference , if ChristIS NOT alive, and if the Bible is NOTthe Word of God, and if there IS noGod!

Because if there IS no God, andwe' re left free to pick and choose whatever custom most appeals to us forOUR OWN religions-then let's have at

it with great ZEAL! But, at least, let'scall a spade a spade-and realize theTRUE signifi cance of the symbols weuse.

But since there IS a God-and sinceJesus Christ REALLY DID walk from Histomb, then it DOES MAKE A TREMEN·DOUS DIFF EREN CE-TO CHRIST !

You will be literally SHOCK ED whenyou read the true H ISTORY of the" Hot-cross Bun," the Easter bunny, theeggs, the practice of bowing towardthe East as the sun rises! You wouldbe still MORE shocked if you knew ofthe purely PAGAN festivities, the heathen orgies, the licentious rioting associated with "lent" in many countriesRIGHT NOW, TODAY!

In Germany about one year ago, Iwas in Cologne when the usual riotous"Mardi Gras" of Germany was takingplace. People were acting as if insane-idrun ken revelry was taking placehideous masks, weird costumes, idioticdancing and noise-making were everywhere.

We asked passersby what it allmeant! One man said, vaguely, "Oh.it's for the CHILDREN!" Another saidit had no "special" meaning. Only oneman out of several seemed to know itwas the pre-lenten RIOTIKG that accompanied the days of "fasti ng" prior toEASTER!

After all-who needs an excuse, peo·ple reason, to attend a party ?

You will be SHOCKE D when you readthe REAL truth about the Resurrection! It wasn't on Sunday, believe it or not- and it wasn't at sunrise, and thecrucifixion WAS NOT on a Friday !

You'll be shocked-and, if you reallywant the TRUTH, and not just pagan

Why Violence?(Continued from page 6)

ANGRY at situations that frustrate you ?If you're HUMAN, and if you lack

the S PIRIT OF Goo--you ARE !

It's been said, "Yo u are what youeat." And your MIND is what youTHINK! And if YOUR STEA DY DIET IS

ONE OF VIOLENCE-then )'011 could become a VIOLENT person very easily!

Will JOII be one who will be filledwith RAGE because of your spouse 's religious beliefs? Wi ll YOU become brutally VIOLENT because of RACIAL prejudices and hatreds? Will YOU ever beone who will PERSECUTE someone elsefor their religious, racial, political orpersona l beliefs? ,

Probably not, you may think-but,TH IN K AGAIN! Unless you're CHANGED,

unless your very NATURE has beenaltered from a violent nature to apeace/Ill one-you MAY!

Here's What YouNeed to Do!

First o f all, you need to have moreof the att itude of God 's righteousservants of old, who "sighed andcried" because of the horrible atrocities, the terrible ABOMINATIONS thatoccurred around them, daily! Read inEzekiel 9, of those who, because ofthei r attitude of abhorrence of theevils of this modern era are to bespared f rom the apocalyptic destructionsoon to befa ll th is world!

Read about righ teous Lot who wasoexed every single day because of the"filthy conduct of the wicked" and the"unlawful deeds" of the average citi zen around him ( II Pet. 2:7-8) .

You need to develop more of the attitude Jesus illust rated when He saidHis tme servants wo uld be praying,"Thy K ingdom COME!" (Mat. 6 :10.)

In other words, you need to beg into view tbis wor ld as G OD views it,

The PLAIN TRUTH

and not as you have always carelesslytaken it for granted.

God warns, "Love not the wo rld, neither the things that are in theworld. If any man love the world, thelove of the Father is not in him. Forall that is in the world, the lust of theflesh, and the lust of the eyes, andthe pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world . And the worldpasses away, and the lust thereof: huthe that doeth the will of God abidesfor ever" (I John 2:15-17).

Next, you need to become tlery perJOllally critical about the way you spendyour leisure moments !

You need to become highly selectioeabout the mot ion pictures you view !Let's face it, you KN OW, and youKNOW TH AT YOU KNOW, that MOST

motion pictures today are filled withpure slop, swill, violence, ghoulish insanity, murder, robbery, triangles, licentiousness, perversion, and every form ofvile evil!

It is exreedi/lgly diffirult to findAN Y motion picture that is really suitable fo r any person who is sincerelytrying to live according to God 's laws !

Always ask yourself, "Wollid Christwatch tbis?" And then, if you reallyKNow the Christ of the Bible, you willbe able to find the answer . If you feelChrist would not watch it-then remember YOU shouldn't watch it !

How about television ?The same holds true ! Tel evision is

MOSTLY fill ed with the same kind ofviolence, and even in more horribleforms, than the motion pictures. However, it is true that television offers afar greater variety of programs throughthe day-and that there are certaineducational and instructive programsthat are available.

For example, news broadcasts (eventhoug h much of the news today isliterally VIOLENCE! ); and interviewtype programs; weather reports; educational and instructive programs; travelogs; certain light comedy or perhapsmusical programs or variety shows arenot necessarily wrong to watch.

But don't become a SLAVE to yourtelevision set ! Use it wise ly, use itcarefully, use it with discretion !

And literature ? Take a look at ANYbookstand. And about all you' ll see is

April, 1965

pure TRAS H of all types, sizes, colorsand descriptions . Most magazine standswould have been labeled PURE PORNOGRAPHY only a FEW DECADES AGO! Anddon't kid yourself it would have been"p rudery" that would have labeled itso. You KNOW the weird books andmagazines, the sex stories, the murdermysteries, the horoscopes and demoniacal "comic" books (and what is really"comic" about any of them?) are NOT

fit to stuff into any human mind! What about your hobbies ? Your

pastimes? Your moments of relaxation? A re you living \'X'HOLESOME LY

in a refreshing , balanced way that g ivesyou a true change of pace-that reallyIS "re-creation"? Or are many of yourleisure moments spent in literally tearing down your body, and pollutingyour mind with the violence of thisviolent age?

Forming HABITS ofViolence

Probably, you feel depraved acts ofwanton destruction and violence arecommitted by a certain type of person. But you're wrong.

It is this verr enigmatic problemthat worries modern-day law enfo rcement officers. They see horrible acts ofmurderous violence being committedmore and more by the "average" typeperson. They prove conclusively thatcrime is not limite d to those who havegrown up in slum or underprivilegedareas; that criminals are not demented,or retarded. They shake their heads indisbelief at bestial atrocities committedby the "good" people in society!

Last Thanksgiving Day, in Los Angeles, there were three separate instances of MURDER over the Thanksgivi ng turkey! Can you imagine it?Afte r asking God's BLESSING on themeal, in all probability, and aftergathering about the table OJ a family,to rejoice in the wo nderful freedoms ofa free land-brothers-in-law, fatherand son, leapt up , snatched up a gun,and blasted the life out of each otherafter a heated, screaming, violent argument!

Of course! They had probably witnessed at least

a dozen murders within the last fewdays on television, and in the movies!

Page 49: Truth 19… · ~~ourREADERSSAY the-PlAH~T~UT~ a magazine of underlltanding "I wish to comment on the new im proved PLAIN TRUTH by saying the full color cover surely makes it at tractive.

They were probably about halfwaythrough their latest murder mystery. They had been feedillg their minds onviolence in almost el-1er)' leisuremoment!

Is it any wonder, when tempersflare, that a person reacts almost AU

TOMATICALLY according to HABIT?If you' re not extremely care/ltl what

you SEE, how you THINK, what youHEAR, what you READ--YOU MAY arESTABLISHING THE SAME PATTERN OFVIOLENCE in your own life!

SO THINK about it. INVESTIGATEyour life. Be willing to be honest withyourself about yourself! God says,"WOE unto them that draw iniqu itywith cords of vanity, and sin as it werewith a cart rope ... W'OE unto themthat call eoil good, (that was sure a"good" movie, you might have said!)and good evil; that put darkness forlight, and light for darkness; that putbitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter !"( lsa. 5 :18-20.)

Be willing to call a spade a spade !Label things what they are! And then, with the help of Almight y God, ROOTOUT of your lif e the hatred, prejud ice, bigotry, and murderous violence of thisviolent world !

D id you know that GOD is a W orkman? YO U and I are each a piece ofHis workmansh ip. Read Job 14:15.W e are HIS WORKMANSHIP. H e isbuilding godly spiri tual CHARACTER inthose of us who will submit to theprocess. "Fo r we are HIS workmanship,(being) created in Christ Jesus untogood works" (Ephesians 2:10) .

And God is not going to settle fora cheap, sloppy, careless, inferior bitof workmans hip. He commands that weshall be " PERFECT, even as your Fatherin heaven is perfect."

A careless workma n once complainedto me, "The trouble with y01l, Mr.Armstrong, is that you are a perfectionist!" I guess he was right. Heshould tell GOD, "The trouble with)'0/1, God, is that you are a Perfectionist!" God is a perfectionist. Andso am 1. How ABOUT YOU?

" It is said that a 'calculated risk'must be taken in our present struggleto maintain mind and body in thiscomplicated civilization . May I simp lyend this subject by saying that I thinkthere is enti rely too much risk and notenough calculating goi ng on."

Don't YOU Be Deceived!

Satan knows the prophecies of God.He trembles at God's Word (Jas.2:19) because he kno ws it will come10 pass! He hates God's Kingdomand His Law! No wonder he has influenced his followers to prophesy thissatanic deception: "Antichrist [bywhich the victorious Christ is meant}will be an iconoclast [an idol breaker). Most of the world will adore him. Hewill teach that the Christian religion[today's counterfeit Christianity] isfalse, confiscation of Christian property is legal, Sa/I/rda)' is to he ohservedinstead of Sunday, and he will changetbe T en Commandm ents [that is, restore them to their original form, including the often-deleted second com

mandment against idols)."All his wonders could not be writ

ten in a book. They will be morewonderful than the Old and New Testaments! . . . He will read people's minds, raise the dead, ,'eward His followersand pun isb the rest"! (Prophecy forT oday, p. 70.)

Your Bible says Christ is the Onewho will destroy idols! Jesus Christ isthe One who will reveal how pervertedthis world's pagan practises-labeled,falsely, "Christianity"-have become.

Christ is, moreover, the LORD of theOld Testament. At creation He instituted worship on the SEVENTH DAY, notSunday!

Jesus Christ spoke the Ten Commandments. He will restore them to theiroriginal form, not as they have beenmisnwnbe red in so many catechisms. And Ch rist is the One who will RAISE

tbe dead and REWARD His followers!

Now rou see in full the diabolicalplot being hatched by Satan the devil. Here you see laid bare a few of thedeceptive prophecies Satan will inspirethe end-time false prophet to preach!

It is simply Satan's age-old attemptto assume to himself the office of God,while he assigns the intervention ofthe TRU E glorified Christ to the Antichrist!

Thank God YOU don't bate to bedeceived !
