DISCOVER THE TRUTH &

FIND SALVATION

Page 2: Truth & salvation

The truth hurts the mostMen would rather wallow in lies and

deception rather than accept the truth

But once accepted, they say that it can set you free

I say, the REAL TRUTH can give you EVERLASTING LIFE!

The Truth

Page 3: Truth & salvation

The word of God is the truth and the bible is the word of God, therefore, it contains all the truth about what has transpired, what is happening now and what is yet to come

If you do not believe in the bible, close this application and proceed no more so as not to waste your time

If you do believe in the bible, have an open mind, accept the truth, and you may yet be saved

What and where is the truth?

Page 4: Truth & salvation

That God made man to fear Him, to obey his commandments and give glory to him Ecclesiastes 12:13 KJV “Let us hear the

conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.”

I Corinthians 10:31 KJV “Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.”)

That all men have sinnedRomans 3:23 KJV “For all have sinned, and come

short of the glory of God.”

What are the truths in the bible?

Page 5: Truth & salvation

That the punishment of sin is death Romans 6:23 KJV “For the wages of sin is

death; …”Which death? Revelations 20:14 BBE “And

death and hell were put into the sea of fire. This is the second death, even the sea of fire.”

No man can say that he has never ever sinned, so we are all damned unless saved from the sea of fires

What are the truths in the bible?

Page 6: Truth & salvation

God sent His only son, Jesus Christ, to save man from the sea of fire John 3:16 KJV “For God so loved the world, that

he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

But is this the only condition to be saved?

Can we be saved by faith alone?Read the bible and learn more!

How can we be saved?

Page 7: Truth & salvation

The apostle James states James 2:26 KJV “For as the body without the

spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.”

If faith without the works is dead, how can we be saved then by faith alone?

What do we have to work on then?We have to follow God’s commandments

and Jesus’ teachings in order to be saved!

How can we be saved?

Page 8: Truth & salvation

John 10:9 KJV reads “I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, …”

This is the essence of John 3:16 when God sent his only Son to save mankind from the sea of fires

For Jesus did not choose who shall be saved but whoever shall believe in him will attain salvation

However, there is a conditionYou have to believe in him and enter the doorThis is a command by Jesus, the savior

What did Jesus ask us to do?

Page 9: Truth & salvation

Which is the door that is Christ? This is the one true church of Jesus

Christ where anyone who wish to be saved must enterMatthew 16:18 KJV reads “And I say unto

thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; …”

Notice the singularity of the church, meaning, there is only one true church that Jesus will save

The door that is Christ

Page 10: Truth & salvation

But how can Jesus save anyone who enters his church when God has a rule regarding those who have sinned and those who must pay for their sins Deutoronomy 24:16 KJV “The fathers shall not be

put to death for their children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be out to death for his own sin.”

The door which is Christ

Page 11: Truth & salvation

In order to save his church, Christ created a new man to preserve God’s law Ephesians 2:15-16 BBE “Having in his flesh

put an end to that which made the division between us, even the law with its rules and orders, so that he might make in himself, of the two, one new man, so making peace; And that the two might come into agreement with God in one body through the cross, so putting and end to that division.”

A new man

Page 12: Truth & salvation

So, with Christ as the head and the church his body, a new man was created in order to keep the law of God Ephesians 5:23 KJV “For the husband is the head

of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body.”

Since Christ is the head of the church (which is his body), he can now answer for the sins of the body without violating the law of God

Christ is the head of his church

Page 13: Truth & salvation

Was the whole of humankind saved when Jesus died on the cross?

A lot are led to believe that this is the caseMany preaches that you do not need to be part

of any church to be savedJust take Jesus as your personal savior and you

can be savedCan faith alone save us? The bible answers us in

James 2:17 KJV “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.”

So how can something dead save us?

Who will be saved?

Page 14: Truth & salvation

Does anyone who calls on to Jesus, recognizes him and believes in him are already recognized by Jesus Christ the saviour?

These people preached and performed miracles in Jesus’ name yet was disowned by Christ himself Matthew 7:22-23 KJV “Many will say to me in that day,

Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in the name? and in they name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

So who was saved when Christ died on the cross?

Who will be saved?

Page 15: Truth & salvation

Acts 20:28 KJV reads “Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.”

A more fitting translation of Acts 20:28 can be read in a number of ancient and more recent translations:Etheridge Translation:

"Take heed therefore to yourselves, and to the whole flock over which the Spirit of Holiness hath constituted you the bishops; to pasture the church of the Meshiha [Christ] which he hath purchased with his blood."

Who did Christ died for?

Page 16: Truth & salvation

Disciples New Testament:"Therefore, take care of yourselves, and of all

the congregation in which you have been appointed through the holy Spirit as bishops, to shepherd the church of Jesus Christ, that which he established by his blood."

George Lamsa:Take heed therefore to yourselves and to all

the flock over which the Holy Spirit has appointed your overseers, to feed the church of Christ which he has purchased with his blood."

Who did Christ died for?

Page 17: Truth & salvation

The English translation of the verse in Syriac Manuscripts such as MS Syriac 4 (12th century), MS Syriac 325 (12th Century), MS Syriac 27 (16th century), and the Novum Testamentum Syriace (17th century) read "Church of Christ.“

Aside from Syriac manuscripts, the phrase "Church of Christ" can also be found in Acts 20:28 in Peshitta Aramaic Text which when translated into English, reads: "Take heed therefore to yourselves, and to the whole

flock over which the Spirit of Holiness hath constituted you the bishops; to pasture the church of Christ which he hath purchased with his blood."

Who did Christ died for?

Page 18: Truth & salvation

What’s the issue between the Church of God and the Church of Christ in Acts 20:28?

Ask yourselves, was it God that has purchased the church with his blood? No, it was Jesus Christ who died on the cross!

Was it God that built the church? No, it was Jesus Christ (Matthew 16:18)!

Therefore, isn’t it fitting that the church Christ built be named after Him?

Unless, you’re saying that Christ is God, which is another story we have to discuss

Who did Christ died for?

Page 19: Truth & salvation

Besides, if we accept that it should be the Church of God, then we are implying that God is not immortal and not in the spirit form 1 Timothy 1:17 KJV “Now unto the King

eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.”

Also in John 4:24 KJV “God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.”

Therefore, Christ died for the people who belong to His church

Who did Christ died for?

Page 20: Truth & salvation

Christ did not save the whole of human kind, but the whole of mankind can be saved if mankind will enter Christ’s church and do as the Father commands and as Jesus teaches

And the savior has spoken, you have to enter the door in order to gain salvation and we now know what the door is and where it can be found

Who did Christ died for?

Page 21: Truth & salvation

There are so many churches today that claims to be the true church of Christ

So, how do we know which is the true church? There are a number of passages in the bible

that talks about the church of Christ during and after his time

More specifically, the passages talk about three groups of people or members of Christ’s church

These groups of people are the Jews, Gentiles and those from afar who was yet to be called by God

Which is the true church of Christ?

Page 22: Truth & salvation

Firstly, the original church that Christ himself built that includes only the Jews (Matthew 16:18 KJV “ And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”)Now, many believe that the rock mentioned

here is Peter, however, the rock mentioned by Jesus is actually himself

Remember, Peter denied Christ not once but three times so surely he could not be the foundation to which Christ will build his church

Which is the true church of Christ?

Page 23: Truth & salvation

Secondly, the church that includes the gentiles (Romans 16:4 KJV – “Who have for my life laid down their own necks; unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.”)

Thirdly, Christ prophesied of a flock not yet included in his fold (John 10:16 KJV – “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.” )

Which is the true church of Christ?

Page 24: Truth & salvation

In Acts 2:39, Peter prophesied “For the promise is unto you, (the members of the first church of Christ who were Jews) and unto your children (the offspring of Peter’s missionary works in the land of the Gentiles who also became members of the church of the Christ), and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call (this third group has not yet been called during the time of the writing of the passage).”

Which is the true church of Christ?

Page 25: Truth & salvation

The prophet Zechariah prophesied about three groups of peopleZechariah 13:8-9 KJV, “And it shall come to

pass, that in all the land, saith the Lord, two parts (the first and the second church) therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein. And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.”

Which is the true church of Christ?

Page 26: Truth & salvation

Even Jesus himself prophesied about this third group of people in John 10:16 KJV “And other sheep I have,

which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”

Why did Christ make a prophecy about his church?

Which is the true church of Christ?

Page 27: Truth & salvation

Because he knew the original church will be turned against the true teachings of Christ

Peter gave warning to his people Acts 20:29 KJV “For I know this, that after my

departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.”)

After the death of the last apostle, the true church of Christ was turned against the teachings of Jesus Christ

Which is the true church of Christ?

Page 28: Truth & salvation

How do we know that it was turned against the teachings of Christ?

New doctrines were added that were not written in the bible

The book of revelations gave a fair warning to those who will add or remove words from the bible Revelations 22:18-19 KJV “For I testify unto every man that

heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.”

Which is the true church of Christ?

Page 29: Truth & salvation

To find the true church of Christ today that he himself prophesied, one only have to study the doctrines of a particular church

If the doctrines go against what God, Jesus and the bible teaches, then for sure, it is not the true church of Christ

Just one different doctrine will invalidate that church from being the true church of Christ

How much more if so many doctrines go against the bible’s teachings?

Which is the true church of Christ?

Page 30: Truth & salvation

They will teach the teachings of men rather than of God

It was Jesus who spoke in Matthew 15:9 KJV “ But in vain they do worship me,

teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.”They will follow traditions instead of the teachings of

Christ It was also Jesus who spoke in Matthew

Matthew 15:3 KJV “But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your traditions?”

Colossians 2:8 KJV “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”

What are some of the doctrines that go against God’s words in the bible?

Page 31: Truth & salvation

They will adopt pagan rituals as their ownConstantine married paganism and

christianity allowing for false doctrines to creep into the early catholic church

Deuteronomy 18:9 ESV “When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations.”

Ask yourself, does your religion practice or allow the practice of rituals with pagan origins?

Do you believe in superstitions?

What are some of the doctrines that go against God’s words in the bible?

Page 32: Truth & salvation

Faith alone can save a man’s soul from the sea of fireWe know from James 2:14, 17 & 22 KJV that this is not

true “What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? Can faith save him? Even so faith, if it hath no works, is dead, being alone.” Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?”

Jesus is God Jesus himself said during his prayers in John 17:3 KJV –

“ And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”

God himself proclaimed in Isiah 45:5 BBE - “I am the Lord, and there is no other; there is no God but me; …”

What are some of the doctrines that go against God’s words in the bible?

Page 33: Truth & salvation

The apostles also acknowledges God to be the one and only true God in I Timothy 2:5 KJV “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.”

This verse not only state that there is only one God but also one mediator between God and man, who is Jesus Christ

So, any church that claims that you can ask for intercession from other beings other than Jesus Christ is disregarding these words from the bible

Only Christ can intercede for us to God; whatever excuses one may say about others interceding for us only proves that they are not the true church

What are some of the doctrines that go against God’s words in the bible?

Page 34: Truth & salvation

I Corinthians 8:6 KJV - “But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom we are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.”

I Philippians 2:6 BBE – “To whom, though himself in the form of God, it did not seem that to take for oneself was to be like God.”

Not once did Jesus claim to be God.But even if Jesus is not God, “…God has put him in

the highest place and has given to him the name which is greater than every name; So that at the name of Jesus every knee may be bent, of those in heaven and those on earth and those in the underworld.” (Philippians 2:9-10 BBE)

What are some of the doctrines that go against God’s words in the bible?

Page 35: Truth & salvation

The holy spirit is also GodIf the holy spirit is also God, then there

will be 9 Gods in total, God the Father, God the Son and 7 Gods the Holy Spirit

Revelations 5:6 KJV “And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.”

Also in Revelations 3:1 and 4:5

What are some of the doctrines that go against God’s words in the bible?

Page 36: Truth & salvation

Eating blood is allowed: this was forbidden by God in Genesis 9:3 KJV “Every moving thing that

liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.”

Likewise, also in Acts 15:20 KJV “But that we write unto

them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.”

What are some of the doctrines that go against God’s words in the bible?

Page 37: Truth & salvation

Good people go straight to heaven when they dieBut John 3:13 KJV says otherwise, “And

no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.”

Now, David is a very holy man and yet did not go to heaven when he diedActs 2:34 KJV says “For David is not

ascended into the heavens:…”

What are some of the doctrines that go against God’s words in the bible?

Page 38: Truth & salvation

Praying in repetitions Matthew 6:7 KJV “But when we pray, use

not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.”

Predicting the day of judgement: even Jesus Christ the son of God does not know when it will come when he said inMatthew 24:36 KJV “But of the day and

hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.”

What are some of the doctrines that go against God’s words in the bible?

Page 39: Truth & salvation

Those who use the word “Father” to give respect to clergymenMatthew 23:9 KJV “And call no man your father

upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.”

IdolatryLeviticus 26:1 BBE “Do not make images of false

gods, or put up an image cut in stone in your land, to give worship to it; for I am the Lord your God.”

Romans 1:23 BBE “And by them the glory of the eternal God was changed and made into the image of man who is not eternal, and of birds and beasts and things which go on the earth.”

What are some of the doctrines that go against God’s words in the bible?

Page 40: Truth & salvation

Members who do not follow the doctrines of the church are not removed from the church

The apostle Peter said in his letter to the Corinthians1 Corinthians 5:13 BBE “As for those

who are outside (the church), God is their judge. So put away the evil man from among you.”

What are some of the doctrines that go against God’s words in the bible?

Page 41: Truth & salvation

Many claims to be the one true church but remember, everything was prophesied in the bible; Moses, David, John and even Jesus Christ John claimed the prophecy of the prophet Isaiah when he said in

John 1:23 BBE “He said, I am the voice of one crying in the waste land, make straight the way of the Lord, as said Isaiah the prophet.” (Isaiah 40:3)

Jesus claimed his prophecy when he read from the book of Isaiah in Luke 4:17-21 BBE “And the book of the prophet Isaiah was given to him and, opening the book, he came on a place where it is said, The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because I am marked out by him to give good news to the poor; he has sent me to make well those who are broken-hearted; to say that the prisoners will be let go, and the blind will see, and to make the wounded free from their chains, To give knowledge that the year of the Lord’s good pleasure is come. And shutting the book he gave it back to the servant and took his seat: and the eyes of all in the Synagogue were fixed on him. Then he said to them, Today this word has come true in your hearing.”

But which is the third group prophesied by Christ and Peter?

Page 42: Truth & salvation

It must be reasonable then that the last messenger and the last church will also be in the prophecy of the bible

If the founder of any church can claim a passage in the bible that prophesies his or her coming and works, he is the one last messenger of God and his church is the last true church of Christ

Was there a prophecy of the last messenger? Christ did make the prophecy in John 10:16 KJV “…and they

shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”

In Revelation 7:2-3 BBE “And I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the mark of the living God: and he said with a great voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to do damage to the earth and the sea, Do not damage the earth, or the sea, or the trees, till we have put a mark on the servants of our Lord.”

But which is the third group prophesied by Christ and Peter?

Page 43: Truth & salvation

The angel mentioned in Revelation 7:2 is a messenger whose task is to put marks on the servants of the Lord

What is the mark that they have to put on the servants of God? In Ephesians 1:13 KJV “In whom ye also trusted, after

that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,”

Also in Ephesians 4:30 BBE “And do not give grief to the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were marked for the day of salvation.”

Therefore, the last messenger’s task was to teach the word of God so that mankind will receive the Holy Spirit and be saved from damnation

But which is the third group prophesied by Christ and Peter?

Page 44: Truth & salvation

Again the prophesied messenger Isaiah 46:11 KJV “Calling a ravenous bird from the east,

the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.”

Isaiah 43:5-6 KJV “Fear not: for I am with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west; I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from afar, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;”

Isaiah 43:10 KJV “Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shell there be after me.”

But which is the third group prophesied by Christ and Peter?

Page 45: Truth & salvation

The last messenger will come from the far east in the isles of the seaIsaiah 24:15 KJV “ Wherefore glorify ye

the Lord in the fires, even the name of the Lord God of Israel in the isles of the sea.”

Isaiah 24:15 BBE “Give praise to the Lord in the east, to the name of the Lord, the God of Israel, in the sea-lands.”

When will this happen?Isaiah 43:6 KJV “…and my daughters from

the ends of the earth;”

But which is the third group prophesied by Christ and Peter?

Page 46: Truth & salvation

The ends of the earth is the time when the earth is nearing its end and the second coming of ChristJesus himself gave the signs when his second coming

is near at hand in Matthew 24:6-8 KJV “And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows.”

This passage refers to the 1st world war that occurred

But which is the third group prophesied by Christ and Peter?

Page 47: Truth & salvation

Now that you have all the evidences on how to look for the last messenger and the last true church of Christ it is up to you to think, investigate further and decide for yourself

Check which church or preacher can fit into all of these prophecies by the bible

Remember, all of the prophecies must fit exactly to the preacher and his church; not just one or two, but all of the prophecies

But which is the third group prophesied by Christ and Peter?

Page 48: Truth & salvation

Good luck and God blessMay the good Lord guide you in your search

for the truthHarden not your heart lest you get lost

Ephisians 4:18 BBE “Whose thoughts are dark, to whom the life of God is strange because they are without knowledge, and their hearts have been made hard;”

Instead, open your mind and your heart and if you hear the truth which is the word of God, heed them and believe in them so you can receive the promised salvation!

But which is the third group prophesied by Christ and Peter?
