BPOVI sighed, annoyed at the fact that I had to do over20 boys washing twice a week. After separating thewhites from the colours and stuffing them in ourwashing machines; I bounded up stairs into my roomand slammed my door shut, locking the bolt as well. Ipicked up my paint brush, turned on my music andcarried on painting my room.

I heard Samantha; our head care worker at our homein New York, open the door and start talking. Iturned up my music drowning out their voices knowingit wouldnt be me. Im eighteen; Ive been here foreleven years; the older you get the less chance youhave to get adopted. You learn things after a while;dont make friends, when they leave your heartbreaks. You need money which the home stopssupplying to you after 15; so I have three jobs,working at the home cooking and cleaning. Helping outat the nursery near us after school. My door was then knocked on, I turned down themusic and swung open the door; I stared at Sam andthe family behind her. I nodded at them then lookedback down at her.Yes? I walked intothe kitchen playing idly with my dragon necklace;grabbed a glass of water and headed for the maindoor. Samanthas door opened and she stood staringat me startled.Where are you going? Out, I answered flatly.Will you be home tonight? I shrugged making herfrown.Are you going to get drunk? I shrugged againmaking her frown deepen. I nodded at the Cullensthen carried on for the door.

Open the door! I said my eyes on hers, she noddedthrew open the door, I ran outside and disappearedfrom sight.

As we got in the car readyfor the five hour drive back to Forks, I heard thewind shift and leaves move quickly; I looked back intime to see Bella swoop down from the orphanagesroof, large purple wings outstretched. Her feettouched the ground softly, she opened the door ran

in and then slammed it hard. I rolled my eyes,annoyed at her overreaction.

BPOVWhat annoyed me most about them wanting to meadopt me, was that I was mostly packed; my stuff

being in boxes while I was painting. I was still in the

I looked at theclock 11:00pm, I was allowed up till 12 on a weekday.I headed into the dining room where we kept the shitcomputer; I logged on and opened an internet tab;Google popped up, I clicked on it and typed in.Carlisle Cullen

I clicked on the first website I saw and startedreading.Carlisle Cullen is a world famous doctor, hemarried Esme Cullen at age 22 in Brazil. At age26 he adopted his son Edward Masen, now Cullen,he now works and lives in Forks. He is especially

known for his surgery, counselling and friendlinessto each and every patient he treats. He has hisown private hospital, named after him; ST Carlisles. He earns over 400,000,000 and as ananniversary present bought his wife an island. Itis yet to be said whether he is adopting another

child.I scrolled down to see if there was anything morewhen something caught my eye.Carlisle Cullen born in the sixteen forties. Hisfather, a very religious man, carved antiquewooden objects that usually hung over the

entrance to churches. Supposedly he started a

riot to rid the town of Vampires that lived in thesewers. Carlisle supposedly was bitten by one ofthese demons and transformed into one. He nowwanders the earth, waiting to be killed.I laughed, rolling my eyes at the silliness of it. ThenI thought of what I was, Im a freaking dragon and you think Vampires cant exist . I printed off the pagethen slipped it into my jeans pocket. Now knowing

Carlisle was a doctor and possibly a vampire doctormade me sure Id be adopted by them; hed probablywant to experiment on me. I then searched Forks, itslowly brought up websites about the school, shops,nearest cinema and hospital. I clicked on the ForksHigh link and scanned the students names, seeing

Edwards almost straight away. Just as I was aboutto hit the enrol button, I remembered I disappearedfor twelve hours each night and would most likely fallasleep in school. Annoyed at having to be homeschooled; I went back to the Carlisle site and saw ithad his work place phone number. I wrote down the

number on my hand, turned the computer off andheaded off to my room. I softly padded to my roomand called the hospital.Hello, Daisy speaking how may I help?Hi, can I have Dr Cullens home number please? Iheard her sigh in frustration.

I woke up to my door being pounded on; I groanedand rolled out of bed.What? I asked the girl, annoyed Id been disturbed.The Cullens are here, she smiled shyly.Thank you, I waited for her to leave but she just

stood there. Anything else? I asked, tapping myfoot impatiently.This... this is going to be my room after youve gonetoday. I was wondering if when youre not too busy...could you come back and finish it? I smiled happilyand nodded enthusiastically. She squealed and ran

down the hall. I quickly showered, dried my hair andslowly made my way downstairs with my boxes andcases into Sams office who was talking animatedly tothe Cullens, at my entrance they all turned andsmiled; apart from Edward who looked extremelypissed off. I smiled back, feeling awkward standing

up. After finishing their discussion everyone rose,and headed out to the main hall way; I stood there inthe tiny hallway packed with coats and shoes andschoolbags, and I cried I was leaving my home, yeahit had been a shit home most times, but Id startedmy life here. Sam gently pulled me into a hug

understanding each and every emotion that was

my iPod and phone which I slipped into my pockets.Carlisle put my entire luggage in the boot beforeopening the door nearest to me; I smiled but shookmy head.Ill fly thank you. He stared at me shocked for theminute before looking up at the sky which was turning

when I opened my eyes again I was hovering in theair. I forced my wings to take me higher, so it wasntplainly obvious a teenage girl was flying. I flew overto where the Cullens car was pulling out of theorphanages drive. I kept my eye on the car the wholetime, I loved flying so much better than walking; Im

more graceful in the air, the feel of my hair being

forced back against my shoulders. What made itamazing though was the fact that you could getcaught. The adrenaline rush.

EPOVAs Bella soared into the sky I stared amazed thatsomething so different could be so magical. I knew Icouldnt take my eyes off her, the way her purple

wings would move and give her that extra little boost.The way if the wind blew towards her whole bodywould lift slightly; what happened next though Ireally hadnt been expecting.She really is beautiful, I heard Carlisle think.Emerging from the dark clouds was another person

with deep red wings; I very faintly heard a squeal ofexcitement from Bella, she wrapped her arms aroundthe boy and he did the same; at that moment as iffeeling my gaze they both wrapped their wingsaround each other, and I had to turn away, it was oneof those hugs that you have to turn away from as you

feel like your intruding otherwise. After they bothremoved their wings from each other the boy startedflying in the same direction as Bella; and then itstarted hailing. Hard. The next thing I saw was evenmore magical than Bella flying, at the same time theyboth turned into their dragon forms; only seconds

apart as if it had been practiced for years. After

three hours of driving Carlisle turned off, givingBella the chance to go to the loo and catch herbreath if she had to. There was a rustle of leaves inthe forest beside me, then Bella and the boyemerged. She smiled at Carlisle and walked our way.Hey, she said slightly out of breath, This is mybest friend Jasper, he taught me everything I knowabout my kind. Jasper nodded at all of us and then

the fact that from the roof there was a waterfallthat flowed over the window; never touching it justmissing it by a couple of centimetres. The waterfallended at this massive lake that then became a river.We transformed back and I went to help Carlisle andEdward with my things.

Thanks, I smiled at Carlisle as he passed mylightest case. I followed Esme as she opened thefront door revealing black and white sofas, a plasmascreen TV, a grand piano and a large coffee table. Iwalked in hesitantly Jasper following, I heard himgasp as he caught sight of the television. I looked up

and was faced with my tutor.

I movedquickly my powerful tail hitting things as I did.Noticing I didnt have a big exit choice I left throughthe window; I glided straight through the waterfall

and up into the sky. I looked back in time to see a big

black dragon with a yellow lightning bolt over its lefteye follow after me. Daddys dragon. I swooped low,dodging trees before another dragon came into sight.Jaspers his large red dragon chasing after my dads.I dived deep into the forest and transformed backinto my human form. I hid behind a tree and saw mydad transform just before he landed.Come on Bells, I only want to take you home. He

smiled evilly. I whimpered quietly, when I saw Jasperfly over head of us.Shit! I whispered quietly. I looked around and sawmy dad scanning the forest intently. I transformedback into my dragon, and was just about to pounce inhim; when he saw me. Having more experience at

changing, he changed in an instant and threw me intoa tree. The tree snapped, but so did my right arm. Iscreamed in pain, and huddled myself into a ball as heapproached me. He used his sharp talons to pull bothfeet from my body, he then rose onto his back legsand with all his power used his two front arms to

break my legs. I heard the sickening snap before thepain set in. I screamed in agony, I sat up using myonly good arm to reach for my legs. He growledbefore nudging my leg, his long claws cutting into mylegs. He threw me into another tree and I felt thebranches scratch my back and head to bloody shreds.

I fell to the floor with a pathetic whimper.

I cant believe my own fucking daughter turned meinto the police! He roared, and with each workedkicked me in the stomach, hard. With the last kick Iwas pushed into blackness.

JPOVI saw Charlies dragon swoop up from the forestthatd Id just flown over. I waited a minute willing

that Bella would burst out from the heavy canopy.Thirty seconds later. No Bella. Charlie was nearly outof sight. I swooped down into the forest andtransformed back into a human. I searched theforest when I heard a little whimper from behind atree; I ran over and saw Bellas limbs twisted into

odd positions, bleeding and her eyes shut tightly. Ipicked her up carefully, trying not to damageanymore of her. Knowing if I changed, and carriedher that way, Id cause her more pain than necessary,I jogged back to the Cullens house. I scanned thehouse and saw they werent there. I kicked the wall,

leaving a dent in it, and cursed loudly. I placed Bellaon the couch gently; and raced back outside.Come on! Cullens were back! I screamed, a secondlater I was surrounded by them.Is she ok?Is he gone?

covered in tubes and tape. Feeling somethinguncomfortable taped underneath my nose I lifted mygood hand to rip it off; when the door swung open.Bella! Jasper, Edward, Esme and Carlisle all smiled.It is really bright in here! I said, blinking again.They all smiled while Carlisle flicked the light switch

turning the room dark; apart from the slice of lightcoming from under the blinds.Thanks, I muttered.How are you feeling, Bella?I cant feel anything at all! I giggled, looking downat my body.

Thatll be the medicine. Carlisle smiled, but his eyeswere filled with worry.So how bad am I dad? I asked; Carlisle smiledwidely while Esme burst into tears.Two broken legs, broken arm, four broken ribs,scratched up back and head. Thats it. Carlisle

smiled grimly; I moved slightly and felt everything in

my body scream in agony.Aaahhh! I muttered, tears of pain filling my eyes.Carlisle walked over to a cupboard that hung in thecorner of the room; he withdrew a syringe that wasfilled with clear liquid.Im fine! I lied.I dont believe you. He said gently with a smile.I dont need any more sleep.

You need rest. He approached the bag of fluidsthat had a wire that lead into the back of my hand.No! I objected.Bella, Carlisle sighed in frustration, and I sawEdward roll his eyes.What Edward? What the fuck is your problem?

Youre just overreacting. He murmured.Really?! So I dont want to take the medicine thatCarlisle has just injected into the bag; because Imoverreacting. No, I dont want to take the medicinebecause every time I close my eyes I see my realdad. I see his face every time he hit me! So yeah, at

the moment I think I can have a bit of a problem! I yelled at him; Carlisle threw away the syringe andstroked my hair away from my face. It didnt takelong. I could feel the drowsiness trickling through mybloodstream almost immediately.Stay, I slurred to all of them.

Yeah. Whatever. He murmured, and walked towardthe silver Volvo.Hi Bella, Esme cooed, and kissed my cheekdelicately.Hey mom. I muttered looking up at the blue sky.Its bright out here to! I muttered and closed my

eyes. Edward slid me into the back of the car, pushedme against the right side window and climbed in afterme. I then fell back asleep.

Sure, Bella.Ok, so... erm... well as Sam probably told you Idisappear for 12 hours every night. Thats becausewhen I was in New York, flying over the city, amember of the council saw and asked me to fly overevery night, I get Wednesdays off though, and just

keep things in order. They pay me $2000 each night,so its all good. So I said yeah, and thats where Idisappear too. Shell also have mentioned the attitudeproblem, its just because I dont like being hurt likeI have before. I dont know why Ive started calling

you mom and dad so soon. I smiled, and ran my hand
