Integration Has A Cost!

• For any integration task to succeed you need,– A good understanding of the business

participants.– A budget to pay for research, development,

Core Integration.

• TSC’s core applications benefit from extensive cross integration.

• Most organizations gain a greater work scope from staff due to the automated efficiencies that come from integration.

• Rejuvenation or replacement initiatives become more difficult and expensive the more dependant you are on the core integration.

Web Services Toolkit

• Organizations want the ability to use and exchange information easily between applications.

• The goal of this toolkit is to create web services that we can consume in new development for ourselves as well as offering controlled access by 3rd parties to our data.

Employee Information Extract

• EIE has been available for some time.

• It’s a schedulable data push from the HR system that includes employee information and employment status changes.

• Its primary use is to provide a data dump that can be used as an import into Active Directory.

Uncharted Waters!

• Integration is an ever evolving process.

• While not inexpensive there always is a way to justify the costs when the gain is well defined.

• We are committed to continually exploring new ways to leverage the most out of existing and new technologies.
