John Allen (Co-director, Choreographer, Dancer) is an Assistant Professor in the Department of �eatre and Dance at Tulane University. His professional experience includes dancing as a member of the Ririe-Woodbury Dance Company, Stephen Koester and Dancers, and SB Dance. He has also collaborated and performed in original works by choreographers such as Doug Varone, Sean Curan, and Daniel Ezralow. Has most recently been invited to work with such companies as First Physical �eater in Grahamstown, South Africa and Kannon Dance Company in St. Petersburg, Russia.

Michelle Bohn (Costume Designer) is delighted to be working with Tsunami Dance Company. Originally from Montréal, Ms. Bohn is Professor of Costume Design at Tulane University, where she teaches both undergraduate and graduate students. In New Orleans, her work has been seen in several theatre and dance shows at Tulane University, and at Southern Rep in Kimberly Akimbo last month and in Hamlet (merely players), as well as at Le Chat Noir (Native Tongues). Regionally, Ms. Bohn has designed shows at Creede Repertory �eatre in Colorado, and several theatres and universities in and around Kansas City, and in Montréal.

Nicole Boyd Buckles is a native New Orleanian who has been dancing for over twenty years. She has studied at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts, U.C. Los Angeles, and Alvin Ailey School of Dance. She has performed with various companies in New York, Los Angeles and locally. Nicole is the recipient of two Big Easy Award for Best Choreography (new work) for her pieces Waiting on that 5 O'Clock Breeze in 1997, and High Heels and Grits in 2003, she was nominated for the same award for her piece �at Damn Dress, performed in A Confederacy of Dances 1 at the Contemporary Arts Center.

Rebecca Delery has studied and performed ballet for over ten years. She has been a member of Anne Burr Dance Company since 1996, this will be her third performance with Tsunami Dance Company.

J Hammons is happy to join Lusher High School’s faculty as a teacher of both dance and theatre. Real progress in New Orleans – go know. New Orleans has had several cultural epochs and those epochs have risen from difficult social times. Hello? New epoch of the performing arts in NO? if not now when? Anyway, where was I? MFAs in �eatre and Dance; danced with MOMIX and many other NY companies, also dances with Confederacy of Dances, Happensdance – trained with SITI Company; performed in Big Love for Leon Ingulsrtud at Swine Palace; co-founded Moving Humans within ArtSpot Productions. Let’s keep building. Y’all be cool.

Erin Healan (Co-founder, Associate Artistic Director, Choreographer, Dancer) received her MA in Arts Administration from the University of New Orleans and a BFA in Dance from Tulane University. Erin has performed professionally with the 58 Group, Tyego Dance Project, Estradanza, and the Chicago Opera �eater in Chicago, Illinois. Locally she has danced with Ballet Hysell, New Orleans Ballet Ensemble, Newcomb Dance Company, N.O. Trespassing, Happensdance and Tsunami. Her choreography has been featured in Tsunami’s concerts Fast Forward, GO, and Match as well as Confed-eracy of Dances 6 and Dramarama 11. Erin has taught classical ballet at the New Orleans Dance Academy, Tulane University and Lusher Charter School and has performed Guest Artist Residencies with the University of Tennessee-Martin. She currently serves on the dance faculty at Lusher Charter School.

Denny Juge began his design training at NOCCA in the department for visual arts. After graduating New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in Film and Animation, he began applying his skills to developing interactive media 1994. He’s been creating award-winning websites for over a decade now, and like the restaurant that bears his name, he’s always open and provides free coffee refills. Louviere + Vanessa (Jeff Louviere and Vanessa Brown) Jeff graduated from the Savannah College of Art and Design during which he and 3 other artists created the world’s largest painting, a 76,000 square foot image of Elvis which was included in the Guinness Book of World Records. Vanessa began photographing at age 12 and won a Kodak Interna-tional Award of Excellence in Photography when she was 17. She photographed through Italy and Greece before graduating from Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Photography.

Louviere + Vanessa (cont’d)�eir collaborative work combine the mediums and nuances of film, photography, painting and printmaking utilizing Holgas, scanners, 8mm film, destroyed negatives, wax and blood. Since they began professionally showing in 2004, they have been in 40 exhibits and film festivals in America and abroad. �ey are included in the collections of Lucinda Bunnen, Gerhard Bock, the Photomedia Center as well as the film archive for Globians International Film in Potsdam Germany and Microcin-ema in San Francisco. www.louviereandvanessa .com

Maritza Mercado-Narcisse was born in Newark, New Jersey and spent her formative years in Los Angeles and New Orleans. A graduate of New Orleans Center for Creative Arts (NOCCA), she continued her dance studies with Milton Myers and attended the Alvin Ailey American Dance Center in New York City. In the summer of 2000, Maritza returned to New Orleans and began to foster a relationship with the growing theatre and dance community. She performed with Tsunami Dance Company as well as in Confederacy of Dances 5 and 6. In 2004, Maritza began creating and performing with ArtSpot Productions/Moving Humans, collaborating on such projects as Chekhov’s Wild Ride and the New Orleans Suite. She is a teaching artist for both KIDsmART and the New Orleans Ballet Association. In the fall of 2005, Maritza was awarded a Creative Development residency from �e Jacob’s Pillow foundation, and attended in March/April 2006.

Bethany Jones McCullough began her training with Renee Chatelain and the Baton Rouge Ballet �eater. She studied for one year at the Alvin Ailey School in Manhattan and has attended intensives at the Martha Graham School, Jose Limon Institute, Paul Taylor School, and the Vienna Summer Dance Festival. Bethany has worked with choreographers such as Sean Curran, Brent Schneider and Ashleigh Leite. She has toured with Xaris Dance Company in Germany and Belgium. She has performed and toured with the Cangelosi Dance Project nationally and in Costa Rica, Spain and Scotland. She currently performs with Of Moving Colors Productions in Baton Rouge. Bethany recently premiered her own choreography in concert with OMC and the Baton Rouge Symphony. She holds a BFA in dance from Florida State University and is a certified Pilates instructor.

Anna Morris was born in Zimbabwe where she trained in ballet and modern dance.In 1994 she began an apprenticeship with the internationally acclaimed Tumbuka Dance Company and later went on to perform for the company and teach on their dance foundation course. She staged several collaborative projects in Zimbabwe and South Africa with Dance People and the Stillwater Collaboration before creating a series of solo performances. She has recently completed a degree in physical theatre at Rhodes University in South Africa. While at Rhodes she taught and performed for �e First Physical �eater Company. She also taught for the Grahamstown Township Dance Project which provides free dance classes for underpriviledged children.

Kettye Voltz (Co-founder, Artistic Director, Co-producer, Choreographer) Her choreography has been performed locally in Tsunami Dance Company's concerts Fast Forward (2003), GO (2004), and MATCH (2005), DramaRama (2003-2004) and Dance-a-Rama (as a featured artist, 2005), A Confed-eracy of Dances (2002-2004), Happensdance (2003), Louisiana Dance Festival (2005), Of Moving Colors pasta performances (2006) and Femme Fest (2006). In 2005 she accepted a Big Easy Classical Arts Award for Best Modern Dance Production, GO, as well as a nomination for Best Original Choreography (New Work) for Mi Corazon. In May 2005 she was invited to set a piece of her original choreography on the dance company at Southeastern Louisiana University. Kettye has studied dance for over twenty years and performed with modern dance companies for over fifteen years. In New Orleans she has performed with �e Dance Players, Southern Dance Ensemble, Anne Burr Dance Company, Rapides, and the Newcomb Dance Company. While living in NYC in the mid-nineties, she performed works by Twyla �arp, Michael Foley, Sally Silvers and Tere O'Connor and others. After sustaining a debilitating knee injury she shifted her focus from performance to choreography. Kettye is married to the love of her life, and is mother to two wonderful children: Jack who is five years old (and third on the waiting list for Lusher Elementary) and Olive who is seven months old and was born in Austin Texas as an evacuee. She is tremendously happy to be back in New Orleans with great friends and family doing what she loves to do.
