He released his debut EP “Songs From Another Love” in 2012 and won the BRITs Crit- ics’ Choice Award in early 2013. His debut studio album “Long Way Down” was issued in 2013. Odell was named Songwriter of the Year at the 2014 Ivor Novello Awards ceremony. His second studio album “Wrong Crowd” was released in 2016. Soon after, he released his Christmas EP “Spending All My Christmas With You.” Odell grew up listening to Elton John. He also cites David Bowie, Jeff Buckley, Bob Dylan, Arthur Russell, Leonard Cohen, Leon Russell, Billy Joel, Randy Newman, Tom Waits, Rodri- guez and Bruce Springsteen as influences. He is a fan of Arcade Fire, Adele, James Blake, Cat Power, Blur, Beach House, Radiohead, Coldplay and Ben Folds. Odell has said his lyrics are inspired by his “inability to sustain a relationship with someone for longer than six months.” He says: “I find that I write much better songs when I’m being honest, and writing about things that happen to me. It can get a little weird though, when friends or girlfriends work out that a song is about them. But it’s amazing what you can get away with it. Artistic license, I think they call it.” Odell studied at the Brigh- ton Institute of Modern Music playing as part of the band Tom and the Tides before moving to London in 2010. Capa fled political repres- sion in Hungary when he was a teenager, moving to Berlin, where he enrolled in college. He witnessed the rise of Hitler, which led him to move to Paris, where he changed his name and became a photojournalist. Arguably the greatest combat and adventure photographer in history, he subsequently covered five wars, including the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in China, with his photos published in major magazines and newspapers. He documented the course of World War II in London, North Africa, Italy and the liberation of Paris. In 1947, for his work recording World War II in pic- tures, U.S. General Dwight D. Eisenhower awarded Capa the Medal of Freedom. That same year, Capa co-founded Magnum Photos in Paris. The organization was the first cooperative agency for worldwide freelance photog- raphers. Hungary has issued a stamp and a gold coin in his honor. Before moving to Shenzhen in 2010, Mann had a long career as a Shake- spearean actor and director in Europe, staging perfor- mances in countries such as Norway, Ireland, Italy and France. He has also devoted six years to running his China Shakespeare Company, and his passion for acting has always motivated him to bring forth new ideas.
