Resilience definition:Resilience describes a person’s capacity to cope with changes and
challenges and to bounce back during difficult times. The more resilient someone is, the better they are at getting through tough
times, and the better their chances at recovering from experiences of adversity and trauma.

Civil Engineering Funding SupportThe ICE are awarding funding grants to young people who are enrolling in college/university
after the summer holidays to study Civil Engineering.
If successful you will receive £5000 each year you study.
The award is open to full-time or part-time students as well as apprentices or those studying on release from an employer.

Hymans Robertson – Pensions , Investments and Risk experts
We have been approached by Hymans Robertson, they are running a week long work experience programme in their
Glasgow office, giving Young People who are interested in the financial services industry an opportunity to gain insight into
how their organisation operates.
They are currently inviting S5-S6 to apply for the programme which will run from Monday 29th June to Friday 3rd July in
