Students are to exhibit these behaviors when engaged in Distance Learning audio/video meetings.
• Be aware of your surroundings
• Mute your technology when not speaking
• Do not mute others in the classroom
• Use CHAT to ask discussion questions
• ‘Raise your Hand’ when wanting to speak
• Reply back to teacher email/chat communication
• Be present, w/cameras on during video meetings
• Speak slowly and clearly when called on
• See Something/Say Something
• Complete your own, ‘original’ work on time

BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONS
Students are to follow all district policies and procedures regarding Student Conduct/Discipline Procedures and Penalties (Governing Board Policy JIC, JK) as
stated in the Student Handbook in addition to those listed below.
• Be in class, on time and ready to learn
• Wear appropriate clothing. School dress code
• Find a quiet place to connect, away from others
• Use of profanity in any form is prohibited
• Avoid unnecessary, off-topic comments
• Avoid eating/drinking during video meetings
• Avoid unnecessary, distracting movements
• Be focused, attentive and actively participate
• Be respectful, kind, considerate and patient
• Login to platforms; StudentVue daily
• Intimidation/harassment/bullying is prohibited
• Close social media accounts during class

• Do not attempt to enter classroom using a false name
• Do not bypass security settings or district filters
• Seek help when your technology is not working
• Treat the District devices with respect
