participation in the 2011 Tulsa Holiday
Parade of Lights. This is designed to
provide the producers of the parade
with important information about your
organization’s proposed involvement.
If your group is accepted, this will be
used for production and planning pur-
poses.
Please include complete

The parade organizers reserve the right
to accept or reject any unit application.

Hold Harmless Agreement

participate in the 2011 Tulsa Holiday Parade of Lights, hereby agrees to indemnify and hold
harmless the parade organizers, KTUL-Channel 8, the City of Tulsa, and any parade supplier
and sponsor from any and all liability arising from injury or loss resulting in bodily injury or
property damage to any member of this organization or third party, which results directly or
indirectly from our participation in the 2011 Tulsa Holiday Parade of Lights to be held in Tul-
sa, Oklahoma, on December 10, 2011 at 6:00 pm.

2011 Float Guidelines Float Size: Maximum Length of float and tow vehicle: 50 feet Maximum Width: 20 feet Maximum Height: 16 feet Height restrictions due to electrical and telephone lines along parade route. Each float trailer must be enclosed and decorated. Please use fabric, sheeting, banners, etc. in addi-tion to lights around the trailer (see examples next page). Signs: Each float must be preceded with a sign or banner which identifies the group and can be seen from a distance. The banner should be decorated with a holiday theme. It is preferable that the sign be mounted to the front of the vehicle pulling the float, but not required (see examples next page). Sponsor Sign—2’ x 6’ maximum It is permissible to advertise a unit with sponsor identification, but solicitations, such as free cou-pons or handouts, are strictly prohibited. Throwing of objects, such as candy, is not permitted in order to avoid injury to spectators. Vehicle pulling float must be either: (a) disguised with decorations and lights that conform to the float theme, or (b) decorated with holiday wreaths, greenery and/or bunting depicting a holiday theme. There is ONLY ONE SANTA CLAUS in the parade and he is provided by the parade sponsors and producers. Please do not include a live Santa on your float. Float Materials must conform to fire safety regulations and all vehicles must carry a fire extinguisher. Each float must have its own lights and a corresponding energy source for those lights.
