Uma vez, havia uma garota de Detroit que tinha o sonho de vir para a Amazônia. Em 2011 ela chegou na Comunidade de Tumbira, onde se apaixonou pelas pessoas, pela natureza e por toda a comunidade.

Como troca por todo conhecimento que ela recebeu das pessoas de Tumbira, ela decidiu dividir seu mais surpreendente talento: cortar camisetas para elas parecerem mais legais do que já são.

As mulheres e homens de Tumbira ficaram entusiasmados e não ficaremos surpresos se a nova onda fashion de camisetas cortadas invadissem Manaus e Brasil.

The Dolphin Legend"One of the most famous legends in the Amazon is the legend about the dolphin. There is a species

of dolphin that is pink, also called 'boto tucuxi'. The parents of girls that live on the riverbanks are very worried about this dolphin.

At nightfall the dolphin transforms himself in to a strong and tall man, with a hat, that he uses to hide the hole that he has in his head, from where he breathes. The dolphin usually goes to the

parties and he knows how to dance really well, charming the girls.

They are in love, but as soon as the dawn comes they are disillusioned when the lover boy jumps back in to the river to return to live in the water.

When he wants to take revenge for the stealing of one of his girlfriends, he will attack the men. And because some men, when they go to the river alone they carry a garlic clove to protect them."

"Amo o projeto, amo as pessoas,espero vê-los novamente."

For about one year, every Monday, 5 persons met for to create and plan together the project “IPP Amazonia”.

Until the 1st of july arrived and one by one of the participants was arriving and soon we were a big group and now, together, all of us, will execute the big project.

Extremely nervous in the 1st days, I had one certainly "if we believe can not be wrong, so go ahead”.

For 3 weeks, we worked together with the Tumbira Community, that welcomed us so well.

Here I made dear friends, met different cultures, exchange ideias on various subjects and we live

intensely every day.

Tomorrow we will leave, I believe we realized a marvelous project. Tumbira will stay forever in our heart.

I leave here, my affection, respect and greatful for this

people that showed me every day the essence to live.
