The Embassy of the Republic of Turkey presents its compliments to the Ministryof Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia and has thehonour to inform the Esteemed Ministry that applications for Tiirkiye Burslari /Scholarships)has been started for the year 2015, which covers both undergraduate and postgraduateprogrammes. The scholarship covers tuition fee, monthly stipend, accommodation, healthinsurance, 1-year Turkish class and round trip ticket per person.

Candidates can apply only one scholarships programme in accordance with theireducational background and academic goals. Turkiye Scholarships include both scholarshipand university placement at the same time. Applicants will be placed in a university andprogramme among their preferences specified in the online application forrnjhat is availableon: www.turkiyeburslari.gov.tr and the deadline is 31 March 2015. _

In 2014, Turkey has granted 37 scholarships for undergraduate and 33 for MA and PhF)programs (in total 70 scholarships) for Indonesian students under Turkiye Burslari out of3.140 students accepted around the world besides other government scholarships.

Turkiye Scholarships Postgraduate and Undergraduate Programmes are full government fundedprogrammes for successful international students from all over the world for undergraduate andpostgraduate studies in Turkey.

Candidates can apply only one scholarship programme in accordance with their educationalbackground and academic goals.

Turkiye Scholarships include both scholarship and university placement at the same time.Applicants will be placed in a university and programme among their preferences specified in theonline application form.

Most programmes in Turkish universities are instructed in Turkish. However, some departmentsand universities offer programmes in English or French. The candidates who want to study inthese languages need to have an internationally recognized certificate to prove their languageproficiency. Also, most of these foreign language programmes may ask international admissiontest scores such as GRE, GMAT etc. Candidates can check the language of instruction whileselecting the programmes.

All Turkiye Scholarships winners who do not have Cl Level Certificate for Turkish Proficiency(including those who are placed into English or French-taught programmes) must attend 1-vearTurkish Preparatory Course.

Art and Sport Scholarship Programmes, available for the first time this year, is specificallydesigned to encourage the skilled international students in the fields of art and sport to study atundergraduate, master or PhD (proficieny in art) degree levels in the prestigious Turkishuniversities with opportunities of Turkiye Scholarships. Applicants selected to be funded takeone-year Turkish Language Course covered by scholarship. Subsequently, they have to receive anacceptance from the relevant faculties of Turkish universities. Applicants are expected to havedocuments (offical certificate, portfolio, etc.) to prove their success in the field they apply for.
