TURN8 seed accelerator program is designed to encourage innovative entrepreneurship worldwide, starting with Dubai. We will look for people with ingenious ideas that can be refined and brought to market through a “seed accelerator”, a program that selects start-up teams with marketable ideas and supports them with funding, mentoring and training in exchange for a stake in any resulting business. TURN8 holds two 2 rounds a year, beginning by seeking innovative ideas through an online campaign, and events in select countries with active start-up cultures, followed by a 120-day funded “Rapid Fire” Business Modeling and Prototyping seed accelerator, with extensive follow-on support.

MOBILIZATION AND DESIGN

During the first 30 days of accelerator program, ideas and teams form and reform. You gather a team and receive leadership instruction. Your innovative idea is shaped and polished. Your research validates your idea and uncovers markets for it. Maybe you even create Intellectual Property. You receive peer feedback, analyze and restart, if necessary. The result? A Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with possible IP.

PROTOTYPE

For the second 60 days, you prototype your idea -- now an innovative solution – and work through all the issues you haven’t thought of before. You gain insight and make improvements. You learn how to better communicate its benefits. The result? A live prototype ready for customer testing.

LAUNCH 30 Days

During the final 30 days, you design a business model and go-to-market plan. You test your prototype with a selective audience, and change up your product or service as needed. You learn how to deliver a killer pitch to investors. The result? An innovative, viable new business presented on Investors’ Demo Day, at the close of the accelerator program.

DEMO & SUPPORT 120 Days

For 120 days after the acceleration services, graduates of the accelerator will have the opportunity to demo their business ideas to investors. They will receive support from expert investor relations on their pitch and will pitch their ideas both to local and international investors. The result? Graduates may receive additional investment to grow their business.
