  • Review Depressuring Result

    Hhmmm,,,, I guess that you know well this strip charts. Can you review this chart ? What do you think ?

    Too many variable.. and also too fast in moving.It is very difficult to review the depressuring result using charts like this.

    This tutorial will guide you how to provide good result or report of depressuring study

  • Just example

    Select Check only 3 or 4 variable.

    Click ADD VARIABLE, if required . Ex ; to review the Duty , and Tank Wetted Area. Click CREAT PLOT to make

    new strip chart re name the LOGGER NAME

  • Now, click Create Plot to make separate strip charts for each variable, and for example rename as figure below. Make the default/the original as a master

    Check /"Active" the following Variable

    Depressuring Load Vapor Out Mass Flow

    Pressure Profile Vapor Pressure

    Temperature Profile Vapor Temperature Vapor Out Temperature

    Vessel Condition Duty Tank Wetted Area

    Just sample. This is depend on the number of variable which is important to be reviewed.

    View Strip Charts . The result is like this

    Right Click the chart Select Graph Control

    Double Click

    Select WHITE

    Select WHITE color

    ACTIVE variable

    Select 3 or 4

  • You can change the graphic appearance,Right Click the chart Select AutoScale All Axes for many variable in one strip charts

    Now, From this chart , it is more easy for you to see : that;The wetted area is decreaseThe duty is decreaseThe depressuring load is decrese(at any time)..etc

  • The strip chart too fast in moving, Now, we want to make slower moving.

    Stop the dynamic running first.Click Simulation -Integrator

    Change the Acceleration to 0.5 or 0.3Then running dynamic again.

  • Provide Precise Value

    Instead of using Strip chart use View Historical Data, which gives precise values

    Select / Active only important variable
