Best Price Guarantee makes Maldives Scuba Diving more attractive
With the Best Price Guarantee, Maldives Dive Travel promises to beat any competitorʼs price.
Maldives Dive Travel an online travel agency for Maldives liveaboards, is proud to announce the first ever Best Price Guarantee, making the worldʼs most exclusive scuba diving destination accessible to
everyone. Maldives Dive Travel is promising to beat any competitorʼs price for the same holiday on any ship featured on http://www.maldivesdivetravel.com.
Maldives Dive Travel is the first company in the Maldives to offer a Best Price Guarantee for livea-boards. The long hours of searching for the best prices are a problem of the past. Now scuba divers
can rest assured that they are getting the best deal.
“Our goal is to give scuba divers the ultimate experience at affordable prices. You donʼt have to be a millionaire to enjoy the beauty of Whale Sharks, Manta Rays and Hammerheads”, said Gundi Holm,
CEO of Maldives Dive Travel. “Just show us a lower price, and weʼll beat it”.
The Maldives is known for its beautiful resorts that often leave the adventurous scuba diver unsatisfied. A liveaboard not only offers its guests 2 or 3 dives a day but the freedom to explore a new site every-day. Unbeknown to most, liveaboards in the Maldives are a much better deal for scuba divers. Livea-board package prices range from USD $150 to USD $300 per day and include all diving and meals,
whereas a single land-based dive trip from a resort costs a minimum of USD $50.
When considering a scuba diving holiday, liveaboards are a refreshing alternative, thereʼs just no other way to pack so many of the worldʼs most remote and pristine dives sites into one trip. Why limit yourself to dive sites close to a land-based resort, when there is a safari ship waiting to take you to discover un-
derwater landscapes all over the Maldives.
About Maldives Dive Travel:
As a leading provider of scuba diving holidays in the Maldives, Maldives Dive Travel is committed to of-fering the widest range of liveaboard scuba diving trips at the best prices. Maldives Dive Travel works closely with all the scuba diving liveaboards featured on Maldives Dive Travel to ensure they offer the
levels of service and safety that their customers both deserve and expect.

DIVE ZERO AND THE BVI CHANNEL
Michael Edwards hosts the Kite Jam
Its been a long wait with lots of work to finally get professional actor Michael Edwards in front of the
camera in an exotic location.
Channel 9 of DIVE ZERO TV is the launching point to take you to the first of its kind, a channel dedi-
cated to the British Virgin Islands. It is there where he takes us to resorts and digs into interviews to find out just how good the location really is. He takes a comical, youthful approach and has fun doing what we expect him to do! (such us the case where he has
it in for a pink flamingo on Cow Wreck beach)
He also has the kahunas to as the questions no one expects to be asked, (such is the case when we sat down to talk to the Virgin Empires billionaire “Sir Richard Branson)! Check the interview out on part
two of the pre-press event on the BVI Channel.
I have known Michael for a long time, I have taken him to acting class, snowboarded with him and partied like a rock-star with him, I knew for a very long time that this would be his moment!
It took only a few attempts and a little coaching in-front of the camera then he finally settled in, and found his niche, from that point on he won everyones hearts and the
rest is history!
The future looks good for him and DIVE ZERO TV, there is talk of big things coming soon and we will keep you posted as these develop. For know, click here to take you

X Games Medalist Young Takes a DiveFrom Killer Tabletops to Wrecks and Reefs
by Margo Malcolm
Since he was a kid, Gary Young, 2009 ‘X’ Games BMX Freestyle Bronze Medalist, has been defying gravity, hanging in the air twisting and turning on his bike. Now he is taking his
love of extreme activities down under the sea.
“Snorkeling was really like the gateway for me to get into diving.” said Young, 26. “I started snorkeling a few years ago and it really sparked my interest. I learned about sea life and
hanging out under water was a new thing for me. It’s always been something I’ve been in-terested in but I didn’t really get hooked until I went snorkeling.”
Young has started his diving certification through PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors). When he first expressed interest about diving to a friend he discovered that
his friend’s girlfriend and her father both worked for PADI.
“I was talking to him about getting into diving and he said his girlfriend had been trying to get him into diving for a while but he’d been scared,” said Young. “And I said let’s do it to-
gether. One thing led to another and now we’re on our way into diving.”
Young began his diving training with PADI’s eLearning. PADI eLearning courses allow begin-ners to complete the classroom portion of certification at their own pace, whenever or
wherever it’s convenient for them. The eLearning system consists of interactive presenta-tions that include videos, audio, graphics and reading, and is available in seven languages.
Since Young lives in southern California, he was able to go to PADI’s head office for his con-fined water dives. This is followed by two open water dives and completion of his diving
certification.
Another reason Young chose PADI certification was because he found when he did some re-search that PADI certification was accepted worldwide. This was important to him because
Young travels a lot. The BMX circuit takes him all over the world, including some of the best diving places like Thailand, Singapore, New Zealand and Australia. PADI has over 5300 dive
shop andresort members worldwide.
Although Young spends most of his days on the road practicing and competing on his bike, perfecting his killer tabletops and 360s, he’ll be taking sometime to check out the local ma-
rine life.
“I’ve been to so many places and now I’ll have the opportunity to go out and see what is underwater and check out the reefs and wreck ,” said Young. “Diving seems so cool to me.”

Wa n t YO U RPa r a d i s e o n
D Z T V ? Rob started off filming snow-boarding and extreme sports in the snowy hills of the southern
Albertan Rockies at Castle Moun-tain Ski Resort. Since then, he has added onto his extreme
sports filming list with freestyle motocrossing and producing a
skateboard video, which sold in 5 different continents across the world. He has now brought his
experience of filming and editing for the past 20 years, over to
scuba diving. The sport of scuba diving should be thanking Rob for his creativity and new angles that he has brought to the sport. Robs also a very accomplished under-
water photographer as well.
Growing up as a sponsored skateboarder, after high school, Luke decided to change his life completely 180 degrees around. He decided to become a scuba instructor. After completing the
course, he decided that he would take up underwater filming
instead. He came up with the idea of Dive Zero in late 2005, and has worked on it almost
everyday since. The whole idea was to bring to scuba diving,
what skateboarding, snowboard-ing and every other extreme sport has - a lifestyle. When Luke is not working on Dive Zero, scuba diving, traveling, and getting through everyday
scenarios that life brings, he still manages to find time to skate-
board for his sponsors.
