SAVE LIVES ON THE SIDEWALK: Special Edition of Side-walk Advocates for Life (SAFL) Training

A little encouragement and support from someone who cares can go a long way in empowering women to choose life even when facing an unwanted pregnancy. Come learn the tools and mindset needed to effectively extend Christ’s love to women entering the abortion clinic! Sidewalk Advocates for Life training employs a compassionate, woman-centered approach to take the crisis out of crisis pregnan-cies through education, conversation, and practical help. Two types of volunteers work together in this ministry: counselors en-gage the women in conversation while prayer partners intercede on their behalf. The next training session will be held Saturday, October 1 from 10am-4pm at Assembly Hall, 901 Orange Grove Road in West Ashley. Preregistration is required; to enroll, contact Anne at 843.437.3190 or [email protected]. The registration fee of $15 includes lunch and course materials. This training will be facilitated by SAFL National’s Eastern Pro-gram Coordinator, Bethany Mistretta. If you’ve attended SAFL training in Charleston previously, we encourage you to attend again as a refresher. More information on the SAFL program can

be found at sidewalkadvocates.org.
