Flourish! Sunday: At Masses throughout the Diocese of Clogher on the weekend of 23rd & 24th September, the issue of Suicide will be considered in a sensitive, prayerful and supportive manner. Flourish! Sunday takes its name from a partnership initiative between Light-house Ireland, clergy from across the Christian churches in Northern Ireland and the Public Health Agency. It has worked in recent years to offer support to clergy and other church workers in the area of pastoral care for those affected by suicide, as well as self-care for clergy. Lo-cally, the Clogher Flourish Group has been working to prepare resources and training for clergy throughout the diocese in advance of this forthcoming weekend. More details will follow.

Saint of the Week: St Ciaran - Feast Day Saturday 9th September
St Ciaran was born in Roscommon around 512. He came to Clonmacnois in January 545 where he founded a monastery which was to be-
come one of the most renowned in Europe. He died at the age of thirty-three while the monastery was still being built.
