Thanks to all who worked so hard in so many ways to make it a success: our Festival Team with chairman Carlos Aguilar and Pearl, Joel & Dia Hernandez, Dan and Loretta Henneke ( handling the monies for the 27 th year), David Boulanger, Gary Norris, all the great booth chairmen, the Hispanic cooking team, and all those who came to set up and take down the booths and clean the grounds , those who manned the booths, sold raffle tickets, invited neighbors, put out signs in their yards, cooked the food, donated items. CARTA DE NUESTRO PÁRROCO Queridos Feligreses, Nuestro Festival de otoño # 53 (a pesar de más de una semana de dimes y diretes en las predicciones de lluvia de la noche y con sólo una llovizna de domingo por la tarde), fue una vez más un gran éxito: sobre $ 9000 más que el año pasado. Primero sucedió gracias al Señor que nos regaló un clima algo fresco tanto el sábado como el domingo, una gran planificación y apoyo, generosas donaciones y trabajo duro de todos en la parroquia. Durante el fin de semana solo unos cuantos dólares eran levemente menos que el año pasado, pero los ingresos pre-festivales de $11.800,00 fueron más que el año pasado, gracias principalmente al trabajo duro de ustedes. Una fantástica ventaja era tener todas las rifas y gastos donados este año. Un especial agradecimiento a los generosos donantes de los premios de la rifa, incluyendo el coche y patrocinadores de los puestos, especialmente a los de último minuto. La colección de carne del festival este año ascendió a $7200, [en comparación con los $ 2.200 el año pasado]. La seguridad fue buena, sin problemas en el terreno, fue otro gran Festival de otoño. Y tenemos más dólares para nuestro nuevo centro de actividad y mantenimiento de la parroquia. Se anunciará la cantidad exacta de ingresos cuando se pagan las facturas de gastos, pero parece que ahora tenemos un aproximado sobre las ganancias de $132,000.00. Gracias a todos las personas de ACTS, parroquia juvenil, CDA y del KC y grupos que trabajaron sin descanso. Gracias especialmente a y todos los que sirven gallardamente en la rifa: Ana y José Faleiro junto con Bárbara y George Levandovski y Stu y Sue Saims que excedieron el año pasado por casi $5000,00, gracias por tu gran generosidad a nuestra parroquia. La historia de la creación nos recuerda dos puntos importantes.
Primero, desde el comienzo, Dios puso todo el mundo a nuestro
cuidado. En segundo lugar, la corresponsabilidad ha existido
desde el comienzo de la humanidad, no es algo inventado
recientemente por la Iglesia. Así como las generaciones pasadas
construyeron nuestra Iglesia, ahora es nuestra responsabilidad
continuar fomentando y desarrollando estos dones para las
generaciones futuras.

In a vid for savings accounts, it advised individuals to save for “that dream vacation, a new wardrobe, retirement years, a new house, a car or boat, most anything, in fact.” Its natural a desire both the essentials and the reasonable comforts of life. But keep a healthy balance between “taking out” and “putting in.” You have been delegated by God to make a unique contribution to life. It may seem insignificant to you, but from His point of view you are irreplaceable. Be willing, like the Lord Himself, to “give” to others more than you “receive” especially to those who do not share your advantages.
