About the College Madurai Sivakasi Nadars Pioneer Meenakshi Women’s College, Affiliated to Alagappa
University is situated at poovanthi which is 20kms away from Madurai on Madurai-Sivaganga road in Sivaganga district, spreading over 15 acres. The college was started in 1999 by the Madurai Sivakasi Nadars Uravinmurai with the encouragement of the generous donation received from philanthropic members of the Uravinmurai. The Uravinmurai chalked out a programme for the dawn of higher education and upliftment of rural women in and around poovanthi. The college was initially housed at A.R.A.S Kalyana Mandapam,108,G.S.T Road, Thiruparankundram and was inaugurated by Dr.Salihu, former Vice Chancellor, Madurai Kamaraj University on 6th September 1999.Even though it is started by Madurai Sivakasi Nadars Uravinmurai the institution caters to the needs of all the members of public without any distinction of caste ,creed or religion.

the UG as well as the PG levels. Envisions preparing the students to participate and benefit from the revolution in the area of Computer Science are already underway. Workshop objectives The main objective of this workshop is to provide hands-on training about Python.
Python is a modern and popular programming language for application and system development. Python is a general-purpose interpreted, interactive, object-oriented, and high-level programming language. This workshop leads the faculty members and students to gain knowledge about the basics of writing and running python scripts to more advanced levels. The outcome of this workshop will kindle the mind set of students, Research Scholars, and Industrialist to learn and promote their research work in the thrust area of Python Programming.
