TXSG Mission: provide mission-ready
military forces to assist State and local
authorities in times of state emergencies, with
homeland security and community service
through Defense Support to Civil Authorities
(DSCA). "TEXANS SERVING TEXAS"
Founded in 1871 and headquartered at Camp
Mabry in Austin, Texas, the TXSG functions as
an organized state militia under the authority
of Title 32 of the U.S. Code and Chapter 437
of the Texas Government Code.

As requested thru Texas Military Forces channels and as
authorized by the TXSG Commanding General - the Engineer
Group provides:
• National Incident Management System (ICS/EMT) Staff
Augmentation to State Agencies, and Local Authorities.
• Credentialed personnel readied for participation in State
Agency and Local Authority emergency planning, exercises
and training.
