OBJECTIVES:AT THE END OF THE LESSON, THE STUDENTS ARE
EXPECTED TO:
IDENTIFY THE DIFFERENT MEASURING TOOLS;
DETERMINE THE USES OF EACH MEASURING TOOL;
AND
CATEGORIZE THE DO’S AND DON’TS IN HANDLING
MEASURING INSTRUMENTS/ TOOLS.

Classify the different types of tools
according to its uses:
Driving Tools, Tooth-Cutting Tools,
Edge Cutting Tools, Testing Tools,
Marking Lining Tools, Measuring Tools
and Miscellaneous Tools.

Activity 1:
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. ONLY GROUP LEADER MUST GET THE ACTIVITY MATERIALS
FROM THE
TEACHER.
2. THE ACTIVITY IS GOOD FOR 10 MINUTES. OBSERVE TIME
PROPERLY.
3. MATCH THE GIVEN MATERIALS ACCORDING TO PICTURE,
IDENTIFICATION, AND USES OF THE MEASURING TOOLS.
4. POST IT ON THE CARTOLINA AND SHOW TO THE CLASS YOUR
OUTPUT.
5. A REPORTER FROM EACH GROUP WILL EXPLAIN THEIR WORK
IN FRONT.

• IDENTIFY THE SENTENCES GIVEN WRITTEN ON STRIPS OF
PAPER AS THE DO’S AND DON’TS IN HANDLING
MEASURING TOOLS.
• CATEGORIZE EACH SENTENCE PROPERLY.
• RANDOMLY CALL STUDENTS TO PICK ONE SENTENCE AND
TELL IF THIS BELONG TO THE DO’S OR DON’TS BY
READING IT ALOUD TO THE CLASS.
• THE WHOLE CLASS WILL REACT BY USING THE WORD
“OKAY” IF THEY AGREE WITH THE STATEMENT AND THIS
BELONGS TO DO’S OR “WHATEVER!” IF THE STATEMENT
