U Fold Tutorial

• Trim cardstock to 4.25 x 7.5

• Score at 1.5”, 2.5”, 5” and 6”

• Cardstock: 1 X 3.5 scored at 0.5 and 3 Note: this piece is optional, to be used for additional elements, ie my tree stump with Fox

• To make the fence, stamp cardstock with Hardwood Stamp

• Cardstock: 1 X 5.5 (I cut mine .5” 5.5”) X 2 because its a fence)

• Cut 5 strips from Hardwood stmped CS @ .25” x 2” Snip one end to a point

• Fold and crease score lines of Card Base

• This is the optional piece. Fold to a Z

• Add tear and tape or wet glue to each end as shown

• Line up your strip with left fold and adhere Notice left placement

• So far your base should look like this

• Now adhere to other half if card base as shown

• Your base can now either lie flat to the left or right

• Overhead view

• Next is the “fence” Adhere Tear and tape to only the far ends of the base. Attach your two “planks”

• With the left side open and laying flat adhere to opposite side

• You should now be able to lie flat favoring either the left OR the right of your card

• Overhead view

• Add upright “slats” using dimentionals as shown, 2 on left panel two on right panel and one in the center

• Decorate as desired
