uBikeEnhance Biking Experience on Routing PlanningJones, Sigma, Yu-Chen
Motivation
Bikers need a convenient routing planning tool
Traditional GPS navigation system doesn’t provide enough information for bikers
Approach to the goal
Understanding
Target User: pro bikers
Current Problem: It’s too hard to make a good routing plan by GPS MAP
Simple tracking tool
for bikers
uBikeGeo-DB Routing planning tool
Study
User Study: 2 experienced bikers:Road conditions are meaningful for routing planning- jolt- slope- supplies
Design consideration:How can we provide an useful & simply tracking tool?
Design Focus on UX
Usefulness Our system help user to record road condition, such as
slope, jolt, supply point. His tour data will be shared and reused.
Usability We emphasize on the system robustness and data
automatic recording. User can enjoy his tour without being diverted by the system.
Desirability We have to make people enjoy the enhanced experience
with more biking experience shared from other users.
