Trek 01 2 Days 1 Night Experience Trek Mae Tang Area

Day 1: CHIANGMAI – HOT SPRING - KAREN HILLTRIBE VILLAGE. 09h00 Depart from Chiang Mai by the truck to the North of Chiang Mai. Stop will be made at

Mae Malai local market to get in touch with local people who trade their goods, foods, vegetables, fruits and flowers.

10h00 Visit the Nature waterfall at Mok Fha Waterfall. Relax and swim here. 11h00 Transfer by truck to local restaurant for lunch at Baan Pang Lun. 13h00 Continue the trip to the Hot Spring 14h00 Trek about 1 ½ hour to Karen hill tribe village at Bann Pong Noi then, continue

trekking another 2 ½ hours to another Karen hill tribe village at Bann Pangpaka or Bann Mae Manai.

Trek 07 3 Days 2 Nights Trek Muang Kong Chiang Dao Area

This is a newly explored route for those who would like to experience dense jungle,

fresh air and real nature in a wild life conservation area (Chiang Dao). The trek concludes with the activities along the Mae Tang River in Huay Nam Dung National Park Area, which’s well known for the beautiful native floras & herbs. The trek will also be included an elephant ride and bamboo rafting.

A meeting with the trek group and guide will be arranged in the evening (6 PM) of the day before the trek for an explanation of the program, preparation, do’s and don’ts at the village, and questions that might be needed to know from the trekking guide. Day 1 : Chiang Mai – Cave – Muang Kong – Lisu Hill tribe Village 08h30 Leave from the hotel by local truck to the North of Chiang Mai.

Stop at local Mae Ma Lai market. Get in touch with the local people and enjoy buying food and ingredients by the leading of the guide.

09h30 Continue to drive about 35 kms.to visit the biggest cave in Chiang Mai called Chiang Dao Cave to see the beautiful stalactites, stalagmites and the Reclining Buddha image that has an interesting history.

11h30 Take the truck up to Doi Chiang Dao (the 3rd

highest peak in Thailand, 2,225 Meters), passing through beautiful mountainous scenery and hill tribe villages. Lunch will be provided on the way . Then, continue to Karen village at Baan Muang Kong

14h30 Start the trek through the jungle about 2 hours to Lisu village at Baan Huay Din Dam. 16h00 Arrive the village. Welcome by the villagers. Leave your gear at the Bamboo Hut

(Dormitory room for the group) & relax. Walk around to visit the village. Play and talk with the children or help the guide to prepare dinner for the group.

19h00 Candle light Dinner with the group (no electricity!). After dinner, have friendly chat with tour guide to learn something about hill tribe culture and history.

Day 2 : Lisu hill tribe village – Elephant ride – Karen hill tribe village. 08h00 First, breakfast with nature. 09h00 Prepare for a challenging trek about 4-5 hours up and down hill. It will be a memorable

trek under the shade of the green trees and through marvelous wild orchids, floras and herbs.

13h00 Lunch, in a jungle style, will be provided by the guide and his assistant during the trek. Then, no more walking after reaching the elephant camp. A good chance to rest and relax!

15h00 Experience Jumbo (Not Jet) ride about 1 hour through the jungle to Karen hill tribe village, Baan Pang Kao Lam for our second night stop (when you ride the elephant, you will understand better how beautiful, gentle and intelligent these creatures are).

16h30 Arrive at the village. Organize your gear in the wooden Hut (Dormitory room for the group). Then, free at leisure. Swimming in the river, fishing, exploring the village, playing football with children or preparing dinner with guide is all possible.

19h00 Dinner will be provided. Enjoy talking, exchanging ideas, games, stories, music or questions with the guide and group. Sweet dreams after a hard day.

Day 3 : Karen hill tribe village – Bamboo Rafting – Chiang Mai. 08h00 Early morning breakfast at village. 09h00 Say goodbye to the Karen tribe as we take their superb transport, “Bamboo Raft”.

Along the way, enjoy the peaceful tranquility of the river that can only be interrupted by the sound of birds and trekkers singing !!.

11h00 At Lahu village, recheck your raft before continuing going on to more excitement passing rocks and rapids about 2 hours till we reach the Shan village.

Day 1: Chiang Mai – Local Market - Lahu hilltribe village. (-/L/D) 08h00: After breakfast at the hotel, we depart by 4X4WD Pajero to Mae Taeng district
